It turned out better than expected. In fact for me it's the best amongst the recent Cdramas released. I m so hooked. Enjoying it very much. Let's hope it remains this good till the end.

The synopsis of this drama looks boring. I want him in some drama like MLC or STOTD. I would like to see sexy brains at work🤩. But anyway there is no such melon about this drama too from any trusted source. It's jst fans wishing to see him in it jst becos the director followed him or something long ago.

I so miss seeing him act in some new show! But it's so sad, his shows r not even releasing soon nor he has any new melon for any new drama😓. I feel so frustrated n angry by seeing some stone faced actors getting one show after another jst becos of good PR. Huhh.

Finally completed the drama. It was so awesome. Loved it so much. If not for the letdown of ml casting it's a 10/10 drama for me. But I gave 9/10 becos of that.

I m on episode 12 n I m loving the story so far, but the biggest let down for me in this show is the ML. He doesn't suits this role. He doesn't look fierce enough to be that kind of powerful commander skilled in martial arts nor looks convincing as a lover. Sorry to say but that 2nd ML seems to have more chemistry with fl than him. He jst has one expression most of the time. My first drama of his n I m disappointed with his acting. But I will continue with this show becos the story is so far intriguing.

Whatever it was, as a story flow it made me confused at times, didn't make me invest in the story as whole, so by the end I was only interested in leads love story.

This one had a bad execution, the plot on paper was good but somehow maybe due to low budget it didn't live upto the expectation while executing. Some things happened suddenly leaving us wondering how did this happen!! Still the chemistry of the leads n acting saved the day. Nice start, boring n illogical middle but the end was nice. I liked it overall for being more light hearted with a very funny ML. My first show of zwy, n his acting here reminded me of shammi kapoor of old Bollywood movies😅I didn't like any of the second or 3rd leads love story, mostly skipped their scenes. overall an 8/10 from me for this drama.

Somehow I knew the melon was fake n though I also wanted this drama to air asap, I m happy it didn't start yet. Reason is too many big budget costume dramas r airing rn n i don't want this drama to get lost in between them as the drama team seems least interested to promote it. Whenever it really comes I want it to come with proper promotions. Also smile code is already confirmed to air on 31st October so I knew this one won't b coming before that. After smile code ends, maybe this will air or that reborn drama. N then this one after reborn.

Oh btw I have a complaint about one case called "a letter from shangxian hall". In that case I felt except the first woman chu bin who was actually the most wronged n innocent one, the other woman didn't deserve to be sympathised n forgiven tbh. Although the man was trash n horrible n deserved to die, but the other women also knew that he already has a woman, some were actually being homewreckers like the maidservant, n the one lady who sold lime. They knew he was married but still got lured by him, so they can't be called real victims, even if they thought the other woman is ill n going to die soon, isn't it still immoral of them to think of taking her place as soon as she will die? So they weren't the actual innocent parties, they knew what they were getting into n they all got their karma actually. So i thought only chu bin deserved to be freed n forgiven frm crime. Not other ladies but anyway.

Like others I also loved n enjoyed this second part more than 1st. Actually I dropped the first part after some 23 episodes but this one all the stories were so gripping that I was totally immersed in it n ended it in jst 2 days. Total 8 cases n except the last case which was deliberately dragged n so became a bit boring, the other cases were so engrossing. Definitely a 9.5/10. Idk wats wrong with mdl ratings for few dramas 🙄 It deserves more than 8.3. even douban raters r better than mdl raters here.

Not believing any melon about it unless we get fixed n confirmed date. Earlier also they said it will air in April, then June, then October n now saying early November 😒 huhh.

So I just watched new life begins n saw it's by the same director, no wonder, this director seems to love masochism. How could he show man falling in love with a woman who bullies him! He has strange n weird taste it seems, in that show it wasn't the main leads who were like this hence not many minded this thing in that show becos main leads were in healthy relationship. But this director went on to show masochist type of love between main leads in this n that pissed off many viewers making them drop it in the start only n hence the low rating here.😒

This drama was close enough to historical slice of drama I have been wanting to watch for a while. I loved it except for few things I didn't like, I didn't like shangguan princess always beating n bullying the 5th prince n he as he accepted too was a masochist for falling in love with her for jst getting beaten up.
I loved fl n ml but there was not much chemistry between them. Overall 8.5/10 for me.

Since today I asked about the douban score of go east n viola it came today only, so I will try my luck here too😅 by asking

Yes there was, but it was for short duration, I didn't miss much so I ignored it. Maybe iqiyi has better subtitles as drama belongs to iqiyi. But episodes r not free on it.
