Forget love; he doesn’t even respect her. Additionally, being aloof or cold doesn’t automatically make one rude and arrogant without reason. She’s done nothing to warrant this treatment. And to top it all off, he wields the victim card as a shield to justify his wrongdoings. I genuinely don’t want to see his face again. Thankfully, I really liked the main leads, so I’ll try to ignore his existence and enjoy the show.

His chaotic mind, however, twisted that simple, undeniable pull into something absurd—convincing himself that YS’s goodness and dignity somehow disgusted him. In truth, FX merely found such purity alien, and in his own dark, crooked way, he wanted to topple YS from the pedestal only he had ever placed him on.

This obsession, this fierce devotion, was never born of hatred or idleness. It was a magnetic pull from the shadows of FX’s own soul toward the light that radiated from YS. FX’s loathing of anyone who dared even breathe near YS is proof enough—he is hopelessly, disastrously captivated by him.

When The Phone Rings

I agree. The drama took a nosedive around episode 9. The characters are undoubtedly the show’s saving grace, but I don’t think they align with the plot. KT’s character development as a professional is lacking. In contrast, shows like Misaeng beautifully demonstrate character growth through hard work and support, while also exploring human nature without villainizing anyone. I find it perplexing why they focus excessively on the villain arc and why there’s no police intervention in any of the events. The worst part for me is the rushed character redemptions. I don’t believe any of the redemptions they’ve shown so far because they lack substance. I hate to admit it, but this quickly became another WTPR. I used to eagerly await weekends for this show, but now I can’t wait to finish it.
