He could have apologized any time to the FL for how he treated her(unless I forgot he never did), whether or not she was taken and he never did, because he still hasn't taken any real accountability for the way things turned out. Rong shares a lot of responsibility, but at the end of the day, he was the one who should have cared enough.
Maybe I'm just evil, but I hope he suffers, because no matter how bad is past was, every time he had a chance to try and apologize, explain or find the truth he always made the wrong choice for wrong reasons.
This is a good show, but it does lack those types of scenes. Some romance shows might not even need kiss scenes, but this one did need them, and even tho the romance between the leads was good, it always fell short of what it could have been because of this. There are alot of times where you could see there should have been a kiss there, and it wasn't, and this takes you out of the show.
I have no problem with the actress not wanting to film kisses, and I think she did a good job portraying the character, but at the same time you can't blame people that think she shouldn't have taken this role.
The preview for ep2 makes me mad that I have to wait! Finally they will solve the misunderstanding, and it's like adults by talking with each other!!! I like that the FL didn't get angry, or ghost the ML, and instead just went to talk with him. Now just start dating already

My answer was mostly to why the ML was acting that way towards the FL in the beginning. His reaction is somewhat understandable because he believed he was meeting her. Him not just asking her straight up why she didn't meet him after his accident after getting to know the type of person she is and solving the misunderstanding is just c-drama logic

It's the fact that something so big changed his life, and as far as he knows she's somewhat connected to it (since he as going to meet her for a date when he had the accident), and then she doesn't seem to care or remember. And to make the misunderstanding worse, she doesn't seem the type of person to do that, so it makes him confused and hurt
But it shouldn't affect the FL in any strong way

I liked this a lot more than Rebirth for You, which had some of the most annoying characters that had way to much screen time (my opinion).
