In novels, you have a lot more leeway to see things differently, in the show it really depends on the way they choose to portray the character. I feel like in shows it's a lot easier to hate certain characters, while in novels you might feel like they're not so bad

Agreeeee, you can sympathize with his situation, but people shouldn't defend or justify his behavior.
He reminds me of Yu Tu from You Are My Glory, where he at the beginning had a little of a problem with the FL having a lot of money, but he never treated her the same way Zhuang Xu treats his FL. The difference in behavior just shows how bad Xu is.

A sad past does not give him the right to be an ass to other people, a justification yes, but that is only worth something if he acknowledges it and changes the way he is. Up until now he has only been an asshole.

They complain because they watched the episode and didn't like it, the same way the ones that liked it say it's good.
And there are a lot of reasons why people keep watching, hoping it might get better, having too much time, or liking the actors etc

I'm not sure about the timeline. But if we're pretty sure they did it on episode 22, and her being one week late is from that time. We can also be pretty sure that was not their first time. Based on their personalities, there was no way they wouldn't have taken precautions, especially for the first time

It will be an endless cycle of watching L&P to move on from this drama, and then watching this drama to move on from L&P

LMLMV was too "shoujo-ish" for my taste, I don't know if it was the actress or the character but the FL was too much childlike and kept somewhat annoying me.

A lot of people who are saying this show is boring are comparing this to Love Me, Love My Voice but I cannot agree. I was never bored watching this, while I couldn't finish Love Me, Love My Voice because on that show I WAS bored.
You're absolutely right about Mai Mai being similar to Jing Yi. They both maintain that balance of being adults and being cute at the same time, and they do it in a way that's natural.
I absolutely loved Lighter and Princess.

I'm pretty sure in the book, they had their first time in the car , because in the book he even went to get a towel to put beneath her. And I think she even confirms it chapters later. The book is a lot more spicy when it comes to physical intimacy, even alluding to them doing other things in the hotel room before they had sex in the car for the first time.

In the show they just let viewers decide for themselves

They really did choose good actors for the roles. The way Wu Lei's uses is eyes to show emotion is phenomenal , and Zhao Jin Mai did an amazing job reacting to him, she was very natural cute and shy, but didn't overdo it.

Even when the story slowed down, the actors made sure we had to pay attention to their body language and facial expressions to catch the words and feelings they didn't say aloud, it was very well executed, and one of the reasons I was never bored while watching.

They understand each other well enough where they don't really need to spell everything out for the other to understand, and the actor make a real good job portraying those hidden words and meanings, like when he says something and looks in her eyes and smiles/ smirks a bit or when sometimes she says something and then gets very shy and backs away a little

No, LYY is 6 years older than YG. She was 21 when they met, and he was 27

Based on the novel, the main commentator and LYY know each others and are friends, so even though it is a little rude I would guess they know how much LYY is okay with saying and that's why they push him a little bit

That was what I read between the lines when he said he was going with her.
The way they used the flashback scene, and used the same words I don't think you're reading that much into it

If they follow the novel, we will be sure whether or not they did it pretty soon.

If I'm not mistaken, in the novel they did it all those times, and it's implied they did more than kissing some other times too (unless it was a mistranslation) .
But in the show they decided to be more conservative about it, and just alluded to it and left it to the viewers to decide whether or not they did it.

But at the very least they really tried to imply that in episode 22 they did it
