There're a lot of errors in Gaga (official) subs because it's MTL so I recommend rewatching with fansubs. Subs in many scenes don't make sense or the meaning got changed. The subs for preview are the worst because the sentences are taken out of context.

So to answer your question, as Enaga , AE slouches/ hunches himself and changes the way he walks. Chiaki remembers the way AE walks very well instead. About the voice, if you rewatch, you'll notice their voices are slightly different. AE's voice is lower and more flirty while Enaga speaks softer. He takes off his make up, contacts, and piercings - everything signature of Punk Model AE and puts on the hat which is supposed to cover his wig too. Also at school, to disguise, Enaga always sits in the corner at the far back and rarely interacts with anyone, like a background character. 😊
Also one more thing, some people are not good with remembering faces. A lot of us watchers here can see the posters putting AE and Enaga side by side and still not recognize it's the same actor. The staffs did a really good job. Lastly, sometimes, it's difference in expectations too. Like sometimes you can't believe your oshi is that close to you and that "ordinary". 😁
