Watched both seasons back-to-back and loved every second of it. Low-key sad it ended like that though, especially since thereâs probably no Season 3 coming. Like, I really wish theyâd explored Xiuâs power origins or his real family. What if Black Mask was actually someone from his clan or something? Xiuâs sword and Black Maskâs staff both glowed Yellow when they fight together, but with everyone else, it was either colorless or red. Thatâs gotta mean theyâre connected, right? If anyoneâs read the novel and knows more details, please spill the tea, Iâm dying to know! But aside from these little nitpicks I Absolutely adored and really enjoy it. The production quality was flawless, though Season 2âs editing felt a bit choppy with all those cuts. 9/10 for season2
Okay, seriously, whatâs everyoneâs deal with Princess Ning? Before I started Season 1, I saw all these comments and expected some annoying, passive character. But now? I just finished Season 2, and⊠nothing? Sheâs totally fine? Like, yeah, sheâs written as this young girl going from spoiled rich kid to family heir, but her growth arc is actually pretty. Iâm not even being biased hereâI just donât get the hate. Whatâs the issue?
Has anyone read the RomĂąnÄ translation of the story summary? It's the weirdest thing you'll see, and the scary part is that it kinda makes sense.đ€Łđ€Ł
I know, there isnât any romance, but do the female lead and the male lead have a good chemistry? I mean, do…
all Liu Yuning's characters has always been so lovable to me. Even here, he's super mysterious and creates really, really interesting plot twists. Even though he's not technically the main character, he has a huge impact on how the story develops. Out of the three male characters, Di Lin (Yuning) is the only one who's already married (actress Tao Lou Yi). Honestly, I think they have really good chemistry together. I'm trying not to spoil anything, but let's just say his wife ends up in a situation at the end of season one that forces Di Lin to make a really tough decision. We're gonna see the consequences of that choice in season two. From what I can tell, it's gonna be one of those emotional, maybe even heartbreaking moments of season two.
I binged watch it a couple days ago and looove it. highly recommended. 9/10 for me
I wish theyâd mentioned it in the show too, That wouldâve made it way more interesting
