I don't know if it was because Season 1 had so much violence that I got used to it and my tolerance went up, or if Season 2 actually toned it down.
Or maybe because in Season 1, a big part of the conflict was the kids going up against actual criminal gangs and adults.
You know… sure, kids can did whatever they could, but fights between people their own age are just mentally easier to handle.

It could lead to a Season 3, but I hope it doesn’t. This was good, enough, and beautiful as it is.
Though I’m curious about seeing Beakjin again But still, it was enough for me.

And also, about Si eun, always so lovable.
I get that the mental exhaustion, depression, and insomnia made him lose the strength and even the desire to fight others. But I can’t forget that look in his eyes from 1st season. full of grief and rage and I miss it.

It was still well made and badass though I liked Season 1 better.

I'm on episode 6, but I can already tell this show is so underrated.
The production quality is seriously top-notch, and I'm loving every second of it. Really hope Part 2 comes out soon so I can jump right into it after finishing this part

Jiushi really did have an accident, and all the events of the game happened in his mind while he was in a coma.

His tormented mind, broken heart, and loneliness were so overwhelming that to comfort himself, he created a character who existed solely for him.
someone who would never abandon him, no matter what.
Someone who would choose him over other friends or strangers.
He wanted to believe that it didn’t matter that his family had abandoned him.
That his friend had spent all these years suffering, just to find a way to apologize for what he’d done to him.
That his talent and hard work would finally be recognized.
That there was a place he could call home, with people who would always be waiting for him.

Lanzhu was a flawless illusion of jiushi’s unfaithful friend, subconsciously crafted with the physical details of jiushi himself.
And the other characters and locations were just people and places he passed by every day in the city, unnoticed, yet lingering in the background of his mind.

But this fantasy was so much more vivid and fulfilling than the reality of jiushi’s life that he spent 50 years of his life rebuilding it, this time for real, so he could live out the rest of his days there.

If we consider this place to be "Door 11," then jiushi ultimately chose to "live in the virtual world."
And in my opinion, the series ended with his death.

It’s heartbreaking, but at least… he’s not alone anymore.

I know I was really late to start watching this series, but ever since I finished it, I haven’t been able to move on from it. 😭😭 

I’ve read so many different comments and theories about the ending of the series.
But my own opinion is this:

A series I will never forget. I cried so much with it, but its sorrow is the kind that flows through human life.It makes you realize that everything you have، your family, your friends, and all that you hold dear could be gone the next moment. Yet, you keep living and laughing as if there is no tomorrow...  You lose something and gain something else.  One day, you think the pain is so heavy that you can’t even breathe, but years later, you won’t even remember why you were sad.  Grandparents pass away, and grandchildren are born.  Today, you get fired, and tomorrow, you’re the CEO of your own company.  You fail some subjects in high school, but now you’ve graduated from the best university in town.  You go through a divorce and feel like your life is falling apart, but a year later, you meet the love of your dreams...

You know what? Tangerines was just like that. 
Even when your heart ached and your eyes blurred with tears, there was still a little light somewhere, warming your heart and putting a smile on your face.

Watch this drama
Watch it to appreciate the value of life.
To understand the people around you more deeply.
To learn how to embrace your sorrows with a smile.
To become more patient.
To love more.
and To become like a sweet, orange tangerine.

you're welcome ^^right, it's a shame. Unfortunately, this series was subjected to very heavy censorship. However, it’s still one of the beautiful, memorable, and beloved series for me. But I’m sure if it had aired completely uncut, it would have gained much greater popularity. As usual, China and its unreasonable censorship. Still, I’m glad the project at least got released and wasn’t canceled like so many other bromance dramas ㅠㅠ

Liu Xueyi made a special guest appearance as 'Royal Uncle' in this drama. This character is actually from "The Imperial Uncle" a BL novel of author Da feng gua guo. There were rumors that if it became popular, they’d later make a live-action adaptation of the novel. But in the final broadcast, all of Liu Xueyi’s scenes got cut so he wasn’t even in the series

Getting attached to a character, even if it’s for the wrong reasons, is completely understandable.
But this level of irrationality? That’s not...

I’m saying this in a friendly way:
If you’re stuck in a relationship like this, let it go before it’s too late.
Jealousy, controlling behavior, violence, verbal and physical abuse, sexual exploitation, or anything similar... for heaven’s sake, these things are not LOVE guys, and there’s no justification for them, ever.
At best, it’s a "habit", and at worst, it’s a "red flag", especially when that person has no intention of changing themselves.

These things are only attractive and sexy on the big screen.
It’s hard, but save yourself.

Remember, you deserve a green forest, not the toxicity of behaviors disguised as love.

I hope you learn to love yourself more. ❤️

Some people are upset that Suhyeon acted out of character and suddenly seemed cowardly in the last part, not stepping up to save Daon.
But honestly, thinking that he suddenly became cowardly at the end is kinda weird.

Suhyeon was so scared of losing Daon that he signed that stupid contract.
Suhyeon was so scared of going to jail that he spent 7 years abroad.
Suhyeon was so scared of his family finding out about his love for a guy that after all the humiliation and insults, he left Daon and never looked back.
Suhyeon was so scared of his father that he never stood up to him.

Suhyeon hid his fear behind his loud voice all this time.

And yeah,
fear can be treated.
But did Suhyeon ever seek treatment?

In all those seven years, did he ever once stop to think, "What did I do to someone I loved?"
Jaemin played him, but why did Suhyeon let himself be played for so long?
Daon, who was the first to fall in love with Suhyeon, would’ve run back to him if he’d shown him even a little kindness.
But instead, it was always insults,
always humiliation,
always yelling and screaming,
physical, emotional, and even sexual abuse...
Did he ever once hint at the mess he was in, so Daon or someone else could’ve reached out and helped him? No.

Love alone isn’t enough. Respect and mutual understanding are necessary.

Life doesn’t give you endless chances.
That’s what the show was trying to say too.
Either you save yourself, or you’re doomed.
The fact that Suhyeon realized his mistakes means the character development and ending were logical and beautiful, and it’ll stay with me as a viewer forever.

Daon, or anyone else would’ve been a fool to stay stuck in a past that never really existed for them and miss out on the chance to have a healthy person by their side. At least Daon chose to heal himself with someone like seong hyeon.

Do you remember what Jaemin said in one of the flashbacks? He said that 'if he got into a relationship with Daon, they might break up one day, and that way, he’d lose him. he just want him to stay by his side forever.'
Let me emphasize this again: Jaemin was never in love with Daon. He was just attached to the sense of control he had over him. His only goal was to keep him close and satisfy his need for power, not to actually be in a relationship with him
