Depth Beneath the Surface: A Drama That Surprises You
I'd rate this a weak 9. The beginning was slow, and the romantic chemistry wasn’t great at first. Most of the characters initially seemed quite unappealing.However, as their backstories and inner thoughts were revealed, everything started to fall into place, improving my impression significantly. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a drama with such well-written, deeply developed characters. Even minor roles, like the director and the older brother, had depth, making them more likable over time.
Although I usually focus on female actors, I enjoyed the performances of most of the cast, including several male actors. he male lead felt pretty average to me, but his brother and the secondary male lead, for example, delivered strong performances among the male actors.
Plot – Melo Movie follows a group of people who grew up during the golden era of the movie industry—when films became affordable and widely accessible to the public through VHS and other media. Now, as adults, they strive to make a name for themselves in the industry while navigating everyday challenges, including relationships, family issues, and personal struggles.

sweet romance story
Amidst a Snowstorm of Love (2024) - 9/10 -cdramathis drama is somewhere between 8,5/9 at least for me I decided to give it 9. Its for example very alike by vibe and story to drama Love Me, Love My Voice (2023) but I liked Love me .... more.
Drama is full of cute and romantic scenes + friendship and sportmanship got big space here too.
picking pool/nineball/snooker etc as sport around which will this drama go was good and bad choice at once. Firstly its good since story-setting of washed of pro player, training and playing at pubs in foreign city is interesting and quite realistic. At other hand this sport isnt very entertaining for watchers. At least better than watching others play chess or such.
Male lead character is on more unique side and makes this drama quite enjoyable if I had to describe it he seems :tough on outside, tender on inside:. As for female lead character she is more inverted :cute/tender on outside and tough in inside:
plot- Former professional snooker genius ML met the popular nine-ball player FL on a rare snowstorm night in city of foreign country. ML fell for FL at first sight and decided to do all he can to pursue FL and make her his girlfriend. As wheel of fate is quite fickle he finds out that FL he fell for is sister of his former snooker rival.

generic school cdrama which is weirdly unique
Professional Single (2020) -8/10 cdramathis drama is puzzle for me...
story is dumb school romcom with no innovation[dont think by brain just watch by eyes], :villain: is just sticky girl which dont get NO as answer quite weak and annoying. Second ML couldnt be more generic and FL is epitome of :ugly girl:[ok I am exaggerating here... but she cant be called beauty nor cute, more average]
Still I quite enjoyed it.
plot - ML and FL are art school students... ML is :cold prince of campus:. FL is average student girl. They both get into few accidents in which ML starts feel something for FL. Well and story continues with classic theme.

crimi theme with ghosts and Kim Tae Ri
Revenant 8,5/10 -kdramaKim Tae Ri again picked good scenario and used her acting to make it into good drama[wasnt just thanks her, but if you check her works she rarely picks wrongly]
even though its not genre I usually watch I quite liked this thriller with :light: horror vibe.
Shortly whole drama goes around :catching serial murderer, which happens to be ghost:. Story got more points of views since there is more groups trying to catch murderer and each group got different investigating methods and different goals.
You will get to know little about asian folklore as well.

its like watching chatroom full of trolls
Lovestruck in the City -8,5/10 kdramathis drama changes its colours gradually. Firsty all main characters 3ML and 3FL are in anonymous :chatgroup project:
and they all know each other in RL, but dont know each other in that chatgroup.
At beginning we get lovestory narration of our main characters trashtalk remarks to story from others
characters in chatgroup which gives this drama quite comedy elements which will slowly fade in later eps.
In middle of drama RL and Chatgroups happenings starts to merge and characters starts to solve their relationship problems in RL.
Well ending was probably weakest since from these 3 pairs we obtained just one :complete ending: and others though not unsolved they wasnt closed propertly,

good vibe, poor story
nice romance drama sadly with poor story and just little above average coupling.Vibe is nice and cute all about famous singer older girl and younger man getting together.
These game sequences and teaching etc wasnt done well it was mostly for effect than for story.
Both main leads was had quite mischievous behaviour.. sadly they didnt applied it to their counterpart if they got more rememberable flirting scenes this drama would be much better.
plot - FL is famous singer, ML is genius student of programming and famous game streamer of popular game which FL got offer to endorse. Friend of FL introduces ML to her as game coach. Its how they meet and its how they start their relationship.

Sometimes your hairstylist knows more about your wife than you.
sad to say , but it wasnt mine cup of coffee.Though there is some romance, its not romance oriented its more like collection of daily life stories from Haircut Salon.
It wasnt bad, but I got no feel of urgency nor wish to see what happens next.
Usually if I watch drama I try to see it all at once even at cost of mine sleep, cause I hate waiting and want know whole story as fast as possible. But with Salon de Nabi I got no such urge.
plot - 3 hairstylists, 4 assistants interns... whole drama will go around lives and problems of these 7 peoples .... and sometimes about lives and problems their customers.

Its alot alike to Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, BUT I would say its not comedy... it specialises on vibe and healing and human relations including romance.
plot - FL is city woman, workaholic working in hotel. Cause of tragic situation she got emotionally drained.
She leaves resign work and leaves city for small village in search for peace and quiet life to regenerate her injuries.

car action movie worth watch with badass female lead
Special Delivery[2022] -8,5/10 kmovieif you liked The Transporter series with Jason Statham you will like this one too.
Its action based movie with alot car action and female driver as main and child as package to be delivered.
After seeing this movie I guess I will check out some of other Park So Dam dramas.
plot - FL is best driver for special delivery which specialize in delivering anything worth money to destination without being caught. Once FL leads gets job to deliver father with son, but father got caught before meeting point and kid is pursued. FL pick up kid and got dilemma what to do with him.

PS:
A big part of my admiration goes to IU, who delivered an outstanding performance across multiple roles within the same story—transforming from a rustic young girl to a weathered mother, and even portraying the daughter with distinct emotional depth. While the drama used visual cues to help viewers distinguish between characters, I honestly believe her acting alone would’ve been enough. Her ability to build believable chemistry with multiple co-stars only added more weight to the story.
