I am so sick of that ungrateful assistant of SX. I don't know if it's jealousy or her duty to the demon clan at this point. But to think that old Scrooge is ready to jump at anyone's claim to place CZ as the villain is troublesome. I really want her to become the villain now, just to send them away with their tails between their legs.
I did think 23, and 24 had a few holes but no big deal. It was a great setup for the next few scenes that will show her transition.

EPISODE 22 did not disappoint. Yun Ji (I guess that's her name) throwing out subliminal messages in manipulative ways is a no for me. Come on Doc, let's play nice and take that L. Thankfully she got the answer she needed and I hope she doesn't become a weirdo afterward.
Her assistant needs to be slapped. What an ungrateful rude twat. The nerves. She really thinks that she has a chance with Yin Fan. That's why it's so hard for people to help strangers now. Thirsty much.

Also, why do all the females have to be so competitive, vindictive, jealous, and psychos? You know we see this triangle all the time. The women are portrayed as nut jobs a majority of the time but when it's the men, they have this unspoken gentlemen’s fight.

I would have loved to see him come in throwing lashes back at ya girl but oh well. Because that stare wasn’t good enough considering the humiliation, verbal, and physical abuse she encountered. I really want this Kick A** Bad Girl moment from her to shut them all up. I started reading the novel, thanks to a another viewer and the book seems a little bit better (imo). I will stop until this series is over so I won’t get disappointed when it doesn’t measure up. 😬

I understand what you are saying because a first love is like no other. When you are older and more mature your entire approach becomes unfamiliar from a 7-8 year old version of yourself. He was disappointed on how they ended and he did love her however I never saw him look intensely at her. We saw him playful and laughing. They were younger, in school together so they were friends at some point. She herself understood respecting each other’s personal space. Then his ex touched basis on him never being there; hence, the breakup. So he was absent then and unwilling to compromise. In the beginning he was not ready and the second time he’s struggling even more so I can’t imagine what the third chance would look like. So to sum it up I agree with your great point, he loved his ex and as to more that could be argued in some cases. We don’t see him and never saw the foreshadowing involving the two. I do think it’s over shadowed because he mistakes his love for her as an appreciation.

Okay, the trailers I found were on weTV. I am pod at trailer 20 but let’s wait and see.

Miao Yaun (SMMY) jealousy and envy is disgusting. I can’t wait for Chong zi to put her in her place. I think I missed who was working with the devil king to cast spells. I still feel like SMMY is the devil’s advocate. Then I hear ZZ talk and I am convinced she is the biggest instigator. She purposely told her about her old self/senior with the intent to cause anger and it’s met with understanding and compassion. Lol not today devil.
This is one of those dramas where it seems like it’s not enough time left due to the preview/epilogue and afterwards shown in the episodes. (I guess that’s what you will call them or maybe I’m thinking about my novels) lol. Either way I still have room left in me to want more. I want more episodes per day but it’s probably best that they keep it around 40 mark because we have seen dramas fall apart after midway. Fingers crossed***

This comment needs to be on repeat because I am so burned out from saying this on other dramas. One comment in another post was talking about how they hated the character as a person but her entire argument was the character portrayed. She (lady from other post) couldn’t have been serious.

Let’s not forget she did not know at first he had a gf when she was smitten by him. They clearly had a close friendship that she misinterpreted as a loving relationship. Due to her lack of knowledge about his relationship status I can see how that could happen. As I recalled she wanted his ex to treat him good and never made an advance at that point. She was not stupid for falling in love with someone she thought had a TON of charm in HER eyes. Their first relationship just tells me he wasn’t healed and didn’t know how to accept her love but somehow subconsciously grew to appreciate and wanted to reciprocate… He is still battling with 'How To Truly Love Someone' and we will surely see it play out in at least 5 or 6 of the 11 episodes that are left. I’m rooting for them because she is still very much in love with him but has come to accept that her life must go on.

I was watching Strangers Again and when Kang Sora became intoxicated I thought about the "drunk scenes" as well. I think it’s the the all time cliche. Some dramas show friends, family colleagues, etc gathering to bond enjoy a nice meal and unwind but the passing out completely wasted or vomiting on friend may soon go away. It may have been brought upon to reach a larger audience. If you go back to older dramas you see family, friends and colleagues enjoying a good meal and a few drinks but not as much as today’s….
