Isnt having a mistress meant to be "fun" and "exciting" ??? She seems like more work than anyone else in his life. Her whole attitude is soo misplaced like girllllllll u is the mistress okay. Know ur place. Why shes been with him for this long is beyond me. Even if he divorces his wife, which doesnt seem likely, u will always be second. At this point, i just think its her pride that led her this far. She wants to be chosen soo bad. Its tragic.

I just love the natural transition of their relationship. Maybe its because i can relate to FL a lot, but i never understand how in other "older woman-younger guy" dramas, how the main couple get together relatively quickly. The usual setup tends to be - FL having problems at work and/or personal life and the ML sweeps in and "saves her" in a sense. But in this drama, the have a very solid foundation for the romantic relationships. Firstly the start out as friends, which in my opinion is always good for romantic relationships, but especially when theres a 10yr old age gap. Im on ep 23 at the point and the FL is hesitanting about labelling their relationship, which is completely justifiably when you consider her general outlook in marriage/boyfriend and her hurtful past. Her father cheated on her mother and basically abandoned her. Her first love also betrayed her. Logically this is a 33 yr old woman who is the newly appointed club manager; starting a relationship with a 22/23 yr old tennis player, who is also part of you tennis club would be risky. Who would just jump into that relationship and jeopardise eveything. Sleeping with the young dude was deffo the wrong move, but im gonna say the alcohol played a part. Her trying to back track and minimise wat just happened made sense to me. Obviously the wrong move to make. But the girl is insecure wen it comes to relationship so it made sense.

Really enjoying this drama! Havent had a good comedy kdrama in a while. If it wasnt for the comedy aspect, it would have been quite sad. The husband genuinely doesnt care about his wifes wellbeing. Like even her possible death didnt seem to faze him??. Roy kim is asking the right questions!! Divorce is the only appropriate step at the point. Hopefully she finds about the affair in Ep 4, so she can swiftly move out and away from the toxic son-mother duo. The way Dr Roy being spectator to this s***show would have been me. Nice to have entertainment at work 😏

Sigh, another cheating husband who is apparently repulsed by the touch of his wife?!??! I mean, even a stranger had more empathy for the wife than the husband and Mother-in law. The mistress is EXACTLY like the mother, i.e selfish and manipulative- typical mums- boy 😒. The way the mistress is jealous of a dying person.... pathetic. Cant wait for the upcoming episodes, love a "second chance in life" kinda arc. And im obviously rooting for the doctor and the FL to have some kind of relationships, romantic or platonic. Either way the husband gotta go. Theres no saving that relationship.

Stuff was just happening without any foundation being lied beforehand. All the charactes was poorly writted. I was hoping for a female John Wicks and it did not deliver. And the incest.... why...... probs the most unnecessary thing in the whole movie. 2 hours+ movie that left you feeling unsatisfied.

How sanctimonious of the sister! Like girl, please. What did she think telling the mum would achieve? I honestly think she actually hates the FL. She can see shes suffering so she decides to make her even more miserable?? Is it hate or jealously? Idk. Either way, our " good sis" didnt even give her 24 hours.... even an ultimatum, nothing. She straight up made the whole situation worse. Now shes trying to involve jun. Hes OBVIOUSLY loyal to his best friend!??! How is that a criticism. Either way, it is not his place to get involved like that. In conclusion, i despise the sister, she is not a good person. Just plain annoying.

I agree shes a hypocrite! Her from all people, who seems to be a serial monogamer, should try to understand her sister better. The FL is clearly the person who takes charge in that family, which naturally means making sacrifices. It clearly very serious if the FL , who hasnt been romantically linked to anyone ever, is seeing this guy. I feel like their anger was not directed enough at the father but at the mistress instead. Obv shes a horrible person but at the end of the day, it was their father who abandoned them for that woman.

The sister (hye seeong) is text book "daddy issues". It pains me to see how desperate she is for any man. I hope she doesnt end up with any guy at the end, but learns to love herself a bit more. She is willing to do/say anything that would please a guy, even if he expresses disinterest. Single life is more fitting for her character.

The english translation on disney+ doesnt tranlate somethings directly. Seems to change certain things to "fit" the context. Not all the time but it bother me. Is there better english translation anywhere else?

They really nailed the longing look "look" 😄. They have great chemistry but the logical side of my brain is waiting for them to reconnect properly, it has been 10years since they breakup. They actually dont know much about each other on a deeper level i.e family issues. My guy doesnt say much about his life, which i expect was a problem before and probs in the future.
The child actor is really good, very much enjoying his scenes. He basically says wat the audience is thinking.

The revenge drama was PURE satisfaction. Delicious revenge. All the villians got EXACTLY wat they deserved. No BS forgiveness, understanding arc. Just prefection. Eveything just linked together seamlessly. Im gonna miss this drama.
Also Song Hye Kyo and Jung sung il need to do a drama together cuz there chemsity was palatable and i enjoyed looking at his face especially when he was pissed :D

I feel like hes worse than the mother. Knowing full well how his wife is a manipulative and abusive person but still allowing her to continue to be the primary carer for the kids means he is also complicit. It seems like the mother suffered from some mental breakdown ( since she mentioned going back to the hospital in ep 13). More reason for her to deal with her own issues and stay away from her children!

The drama is underwhelming so far. The general plot idea is good but the execution is subpar. I feel like they picked the wrong actress to play this part. I cant tell if its the writing or acting, but i just dont believe/connect with her character. She has cried in every episode so far and i feel nothing. The crown prince is meant to be cold and aloof but hes already having feeling for the FL?? Considering he thought she killed her whole 4 family 2 seconds ago, it doesnt make sense. The romance seems rushed.
I really like PHS , so im gonna give it another try but i dont have any expectations.

Maybe if he had a single redeemable quality and she was less pathetic, this drama could have been watchable.

And this drama deffo has all of these points. My eyes are blessed to see all the actors/actress and their dialogues is entertaining.
Definitely the best rom-com in a while.
Of course there is shortcomings as with many dramas. They really do push the "shes different" trope really hard. But i cant complain since her character was a strong/smart female lead and shes likeable to me.
At the end of the day, this is a rom com with only 10 episodes. If you just watch it without taking it seriously, its a fun watch.

The main issue is that all his actions are self driven. He doesnt consider her feelings at all. He just turned up at the firm without giving her a heads-up.

I really wanted to like this drama, but it just keeps getting ridiculous!
This man (ML) wanted to get divorced sooooo badly that he straight up orchestrated a whole affair- hurting his wife ( thats his known for over 10yrs!!!) just to get it done!?! Keeping in mind this man is well into his 30s and is a whole a** attorney and he choses this method to get divorced, instead of simply communicating his feelings.
He then has the audacity to work at the same firm as his ex-wife, and is surprised she isnt pleased to see him.
THEN, he ambushed her with a blind date, hoping that will help with this situations.
Where is the logic? I trying hard to search for it....
Not saying the FL is the perfect person, shes petty and unprofessionally. But at least, it can be justified as someone who is hurt.
He on the other had is just immature and just a bad person.
I dont see how they can salvage this relationship, they are clearly wrong for each other.
