Enjoyed watching both seasons. Hopefully they won't let us wait too much. Looking forward to see Season 3, especially an unrestrained version of Shen Yi. Tan Jianci absolutely nailed it in every scenes, especially in Opera case. It gives me goosebumps, the way, he turns and gave those side glimpse in cliffhanger scene. It certainly made anxious & excited to watch Season 3.
Its wonderful. SY is always with DC. They were actually playing good cop & bad cop with FKY, to make him confess and surrender. Though I enjoyed DC drinking vinegar.
Truly speechless with Tan Jianci's phenomenal performance. The switch inbetween his each expressions are beautifully brilliant. He nailed it absolutely.
When she puts her hand on Shen Yi's chin, admiring him. I was so jealous like, "Hey! Paws off my man bish." Something off about the way she was smiling in car after they dropped her home. She is kind of fishy, just like that creepy guy, stalking Shen Yi. Are she and 'creepy guy' together? to lure Shen Yi away from others. I can't control myself from screaming excitedly. This season is worth watching every moment.
That creepy guy is so fishy. He definitely have some hidden agenda, obsessed with Shen Yi. He wants to use his art as an excuse to harm him. Somehow makes me think, if creepy guy is the mastermind, who is behind that little girl death which made Shen Yi traumatized again.
I just noticed something, here, same as novel, her eyes shows XL/FFB in it. So glad with 'Lovers bug' and 'secret mirror memory', production doesn't change it.😊

Tbf, Jing ends with XY cause of XL help. Story, without XL, will end at Maze Arc, with XY dead, Jing in coma and CX mad in grief on her death. Jing should leave clan for XY and not marry FFYY but he failed. XY is not responsible for his faults & weakness. Author said, XY choice is due to psychological issues. Jing left with XY after making FFYY's son his family successor.
In novel, CX is originally responsible for Jing death. XY forgave CX for Jing but left without saying CX a word after she learned of XL death, broke her limit. It was her last request to CX, not kill XL which he fails. Drama concludes, with XY bittersweet, compromising ending with an extra lover.
Tong Hua did say, XY choice was due to her psychological deficiencies & trust issues. *Spoiler* Its reflected by story ending. She got bittersweet, compromising ending with flawed man, Jing, who neither became a responsible clan leader, nor made her respected wife, also didn't let her be Queen. I'm baffled how Jing thinks, he knows better for XY, considering he failed to solve his problems, got her from sideline on efforts, sacrifices of other lead. Production tried to tone down, cut & changed other leads scene to make him useful, which proved to be a vain. This is one of those dramas, more than watching, I felt relieved that its finally ended.

Thankyou. If I have not read novel, then, like a kindergarten child, I will blindly chant 'happy ending' too. Its just all good on 'Surface', but if go deeper, we realise, Jing character is quite questionable. In both seasons, he done 'nothing' compared to other leads. Even FFYY somewhat redeemed herself in end. Btw, can't ignore fact, XY has abandonment issues (as author herself said), by consequences got end up with Jing, who even being married & father, uselessly stalked XY around everywhere. Its nothing romantic. Jing influence stunted XY character growth, made her look meek & weak. Its disappointing, how his fans, misinterpreting novel, ignoring other leads importance and hardwork while illogically boasting Jing over others.
Once XY said that only two types of person can get her, 1st who is everything and 2nd who is nothing. Somewhat, fate gave her a life lesson, 'You can't get everything in life as you want'. *Spoiler* Her naive self lost her 'everything' Xiangliu and endup with a flawed man, Jing, perfect in sense of 'nothing'. He has neither burden of an Emperor, nor of a General, but still failed to be responsible man. Jing or Ysq, its still him, a failed lover, husband, father & widower, left behind a son (who's mother died), tainted XY image as another woman/step mother.
