I get it but I guess I’m just not a fan of his character altogether. I don’t hate him or anything but I think that his only priority was his feelings. He was a terrible friend to her and spent every episode being angry, jealous and doing that crying whinny thing he does. I just can’t get past the fact that he ghosted his best friend in America just cause he saw her with a man. Meanwhile, she’s suffering from cancer. Guess I just don’t understand his character. if I can’t be in a relationship with you I won’t be a friend to you type of energy.

I personally don’t think the drama is bad but it’s just not giving me what I though it would. I initially thought I would be laughing and giggling like school girl at how cute the main couple are but it’s just so dramatic. Personally the ML is just not doing it for me. i find him to be whinny and angry all the time. Like when she got jealous about the ex. I thought he would play it off as cute but it got hella serious in two seconds. Perhaps I’m judging the drama based on how I thought it would be but I’m just. little disappointed at how much potential this show had.

This is the best acting I’ve seen from the FL thus far in her career. She’s giving bad bitch every episode and I like it. I also enjoy seeing her torture those criminals.

Everyone on this earth knows that kdramas do not have realistic portrayals of romance. Rarely in real life are people secretly in love and pining over someone for 20 plus years. Majority of people don’t fall in love at 4 years old and stays in love with that same person after not seeing them for 10 years. These are fantasy shows. It’s meant to be unrealistic, chessy and an escape from real life relationships. The perfect amazing, caring men depicted in kdramas don’t exist in real life. If you want realistic shows of relationships no one would watch as it would be depressing. Men hated when they are portrayed as positive green flags that women like and are attracted to but also hate it when they are portrayed accurately. considering a women is killed every 11 minutes by her partner in the world maybe we can have more depictions of that.

You are insane. That is just a common phrase that people use all the time even if they have not dated multiple people. How you managed to create an entire narrative based on one sentence is crazy. How the hell does that mean she has shagged multiple men?? It literally shows that the FL has been working hard to survive and raise her kid brother. The script is clear that neither party had interest in anyone else and their main issue was just the mother standing in their way. You are projecting your insecurities onto this show.

The projection is crazy. Please tell me when in this drama did it depict the FL having multiple lovers or sleeping around? Please tell me which episode it showed the FL shagging multiple men as you say?

nvm, I thought you were making a normal comment but I failed to realize that you were nothing more than just another incel. There seems to be so many of y’all on this app that are weirdly obsssed with the amount of men the FL sleep with. Mind you at no point in this drama did she sleep with another man nor did she indicate she was interested in one. Why is a grown tough man like you even watching a drama called Cinderella at 2PM? Why don’t you go watch an action movie or something instead of monitoring the private parts of women.

We are talking about this specific drama. I can’t speak for other dramas. Personally I’ve seen all different types of dramas where the leads had lots of issues regardless of gender. I watched bad memory eraser for example and the ML was great but the FL sucked. In this specific drama why would she chase after this man relentlessly when his mother told her that she’s not wanted? They made her background very clear. She spent her entire childhood in a family that didn’t want and abused her. You want her to sign up for more abuse? Sinxe the problem is coming from the ML’s family he should stand up and protect her and deal with his mother or leave her alone. I would say the exact same thing if she’s was rich and powerful and he was poor and abused. Don’t chase after people if you can’t properly protect them and shield them from your family.

Y’all are saying the ML was doing the chasing when in reality the whole reason why they broke up was because of his mother. The person with the problem is the one that needs to step up. Instead of chasing after the FL he should have delt with his mom properly and based on next weeeks episode we see the reason why the FL was wise to be apprehensive of the ML’s wealth and family. The mom using her life tragedy for marketing is truly awful. At the end of the day she has the most to lose by going up against powerful rich people. Even the older brothers girlfriend left him because she could not endure the obstacles laid out by the mother.

Finally the alcoholic dad did something right in shooting the dad even though the evil police chief set that up to get rid of him. I hope this case gets covered by the news. You have a prominent doctor sleeping with teenagers, a politician wife that covers up her husbands crimes and a corrupt police chief setting people up. Bitch if that’s not headline news I don’t know what is. The FL is really trying to take the ML’s mother hostage at his point.

I think the ML’s girlfriend was killed by either the doctor or his politician wife. That’s why she called the police chief the night they were setting up the ML. Both murderes randomly ended up happening around the same time so they were able to set the ML up for both deaths. I don’t think the psycho stalker FL killed anyone. She just is willing to do anything to keep him. It didn’t really specify what the father did or at least I don’t remember but the family was very well off. They were able to go on international vacations buy their son a car. When the other girl was looking through the documents in todays episode she was shocked at how wealthy the ML’s family was. They even said the restaurant they owned was just a hobby and a side gig the family had.

That who town needs to burn tbh. They all secretly hated the ML and his family because they were well off and their son was a genius that got into Med School. Once they saw what their scum sons did they decided to frame and destroy that family and bring them down to their level. That is why they bought their restaurant and were happy to see the mother work for them. The dad was happy to throw the mother off the bridge to avenge his daughter but has made zero moves against the ones that raped her. The FL is the nastiest type of pick me. She saw a fellow woman raped and her first thought was to cover up the crime. The type of psycho she is she knew that the ML would leave and have a successful life away from her so she wanted him to stay in the same place in a controlled setting. Maybe she didn’t know it would lead to 10 years in jail but I’m sure she didn’t mind cause she got to visit him often. I just want all the culprits to die tbh.

How can you hate a drama for the love triangle when there was no triangle. The brother never liked her at all. The friend put that idea in his head and he just thought about it in the context of becoming a legal family. The whole time you are watching you knew it wasn’t serious and he actually didn’t like her. they wrapped it up in like two episodes and it was over.

I really hope they don’t turn the whole show into a love triangle. Go ahead wasn’t a love triangle as the brother who was adopted didn’t like her at all. He just wanted to become a legal member of the family. Koreans love them a triangle and it ruins so much shows so I hope they don’t do it with this show.

My girl Mo Eum had the best response to finding out her bestie was sick. Personally, I find all the yelling at the FL to be over stimulating. For 10 episodes the only emotion we have gotten from the ML is just anger and PERSONALLY it just kind of turned me off from him completely. I just don’t like the way he communicates and how he behaves the moment he sees her with the opposite gender. He was yelling at her saying why didn’t you tell me only for us to find out that he ghosted his friend and ignored her so gone calls and messages. The only thing that matters to him seems to be the way he feels about her. I know some of your delusional fans of the actor is gonna say that no his character is only maintaining boundaries. I guess ghosting your friends is a way to set boundaries. As for the ML’s mother possibly cheating I think her co-worker/boss might be gay. I don’t understand why the dad doesn’t just confront her. He would rather request a divorce than try to communicate with his wife is crazy.

it was very refreshing to see that he was an amazing partner and caretaker. It was nice to also see them show how illness can strain a relationship. The closure was great and now they can both peacefully move on.

I was referring to the end of the drama. Most contract marriages have that big reveal to everyone that the marriage is fake.

I am hoping because it’s only 12 episodes,
we skip the usual every one in the office finds out it’s a fake marriage thing and they get separate nonsense.

6 episodes and the storyline has not moved an inch. Is the ML just gonna chase the Fl with zero plans? The only obstacle is the mom and he should be working on her instead of running after the FL every episode.

It definitely would have been a more light harder fun vibe that way. Korean writers seem to be obsessed with first love and falling in love with someone at 5 years old and somehow managing to stay in love with them for 20 years. I realize long ago though that they create characters that don’t exist on this planet to mostly cater to women. If they were realistic characters I doubt people would tune in. You want to escape reality and be delusional to think there’s someone out there pining for you for a century lol.
