People are talking like only the Crown Prince is at fault. Both shut their doors. It's a game of who would open…
The issue is that he went to that woman during their scheduled meeting. He knew that she was already struggling with the fact that she’s not pregnant. He could have went to other woman at anytime but he decided to embarrass the princess by leaving her on the night where all eyes are on her. He already had a concubine and she obviously didn’t even mind that. This is the perfect solution for her to get out of that palace. I don’t think she would have cared if he took that girl as a concubine. it’s just the way he decided to go about it.

And dropped...literally no need for the cheating husband. Of course she's the one getting the blame for "pushing…
Are you okay? you do realize that this is a historical drama right? The women during this period didn’t have choices. They both got married as children and even their sex life is scheduled and choreographed. The men during this time could sleep with anyone they wanted and especially the king or would be king. All woman are considered the kings women. He could essentially grab any lady from off the street to serve him. Technically it’s not cheating since the royals are permitted to do so. The issue is that he didn’t follow the procedures and slept with a woman during the scheduled time he was suppose to sleep with the princess. Bridgeton and outlander are not historically accurate they are just romantic period pieces. This drama talks about the struggles women face during that time. Mind you the other prince raped a woman and legit got away with. Meanwhile her aunt was literally murdered by her in laws. How did you manage to watch all those episodes and somehow still looking for fairytales romance is beyond me.

i didn't watch the original cdrama but i heard that it had some kind of love triangle which is something i absolutely…
the cdrama has no love triangle at all. The brother was just desperate to legally be tied to his family and share their last name. He has a stupid friend that basically tells him he can do that by marrying the FL. There’s no feelings and it legit gets wrapped up in one episode as they both essentially find it gross and see each other as siblings. if you loved this drama, you will like this one even better as you get attached to the characters and love them even more.

The most annoying thing kdrama writers do is constantly have the FL’s jump to conclusions with little to no information. In love to hate you the FL immediately concluded that the ML was a pedo who dates underaged girls. They see a tattoo and start picturing a whole story of the ML being part of a gang. I can understand old people doing that but as a young person living in the modern world no way you still believe everyone with a tattoo is a gang member. As an educator the least you can do is gather more information and observe quietly before making accusations. You can write strong female characters without constantly having them be loud, drunk, and judgmental.

If the pace of the story is not for you why not just drop the show? it’s clear from episode 1 that this would be a slow moving story that focuses more on emotion. That might not be your style. personally I found episode 3 to be very emotional. I can’t wait to see the leads interact.

Jang Won is so bland to me I really hope the FL doesn’t end up with him. I thought he was gonna tell his dad to act when it come to the rapist prince but instead he told his dad to get the books banned essentially leading to everyone getttong tortured. meanwhile the ML is literally a man of action. I know he differs with the FL on the concept of love but he literally is a man with a plan. I like that.

the low ratings have been happening for a while now. it usually changes and updates within the coming week to have a more accurate rating. I think it might be some internal issues with the app. Either way I hope that people understand that there are some shows where you are not intended to think too hard. it’s a funny light show. The first episode was cute let’s see how it goes.

omg I felt so bad for the aunt. it really was hell for women in this period. if the husband dies they tell you…
the best thing about the show though is that the siblings all get along and love each other despite the annoying concubine mother.

omg I felt so bad for the aunt. it really was hell for women in this period. if the husband dies they tell you to die with him. if you get raped they tell you to die. if you can’t give birth to a son they try to get rid of you. men can sleep around as much as they want but a woman can do pretty much nothing. don’t get me started on how in laws treat you like a servant. it’s just so sad.

Yaun Tong didn't suddenly switch sides. He was always supporting the emperor. The emperor knew about the second…
Thank you for explaining about Yaun Tong. That makes sense. I think I must have missed that portion when they were explaining his role in everything. I knew the king planned everything out but I must have zoned out on that portion of the explanation. As for Song Han I completely understand his paranoia and even him not being able to eat unless he tests the food out with his cat. I can even understand him being afraid of his brother taking revenge on him. I just don’t understand how out of no where how he decided he wanted power and was gonna commit treason. After that he just completely changed into someone else. He was never conflicted about his actions or even hesitated a little to off his own brother or his wife’s brother. it just seemed like a crazy change to me. I completely understand that Ansu fell in love but it took about 48 hours before she started doubting her friend. I at least expected her to step in when the maid was getting slapped 10 times but she didn’t even flinch during that.

Dropping at ep 3 because we won't get closer to the characters. Heavy crimes handled lightly. Team Bulldog was…
We got a lot closer to the FL in the latest episode. We know why she advocates for people and the story of what happened to her mother. They are journalist that are underfunded with higher ups trying to cancel them at every moment. We really can’t expect to see justice play out in every episode.

just finished watching the drama. I thought it was pretty good though I still struggled to understand certain characters motives. Yuan Tong for example, was a character I struggled to understand. Why was he supporting the second prince? Why did he all of a sudden switch sides at the end? I didn’t understand Song Han as well. It looked like he was hurt by his role in killing the mother that raised him so how did he go from feeling bad to wanting to murder his brother? was he a sleeper cell the whole time? it felt like zero to a hundred real quick without any justification. He was loved by his father and his mother treated him well so I don’t understand the hatred he developed for his brother overnight. They had a good relationship as kids. just made no sense to me. Ansu’s character development was difficult to understand as well. She turned her back on her bestie over a man she met a week ago is crazy work.

wait could yoo eun ho be the dead brother of woo jeong hun?? it doesn’t make sense but it could be possible
it’s not possible because the brother was married to the head teacher/master that we saw in the first couple of episodes. unless you are referring to a different brother.

Is this the whole season OR separated 2-part season like other Netflix Kdramas?
I believe it’s the whole season. it’s only 8 episodes.

they are besties in this show and she has her own romantic partner. so she’s is the 2nd FL but not in the typical sense where they like the same guy.

Yess he’s too perfect and a very 2D character, we don’t know his personality at all really, other than him…
there are certain shows where you are not suppose to think too hard. it’s just meant to be a cute story with a cute couple. if you see the trailer for this weeks episode it seems like they open up more and start actually dating. very cute.

Every time I see you comment under one of these shows you are discussing the sex life of the FL. God forbid the…
If the two men one woman kdramas bother you to this extent why watch them? Are you a masochist? You just enjoy watching these types of shows and complaining about women. There are plenty of kdramas where the ML has an ex-girlfriend, ex-lover etc.. that you can tune into. You have an unnatural obsession with the sex life of women. Half the dramas I’ve seen you complain about never even show the FL having sex with anyone. As soon as you see a man that’s not the ML interacting with the FL you immediately write how come she gets to have sex and he doesn’t. It’s giving incel loser behavior. Your problem is that kdramas give women options and it kills you inside to see women in positions you think men should be in. Who cares if these fake tv shows play on the desires of women to be loved by multiple attractive men. Look at you complaining about perceived discrimination against men in a tv show when in reality men are allowed to sleep with multiple women and expect to settle down with a pure virgin girl. Go to one of those incel chat rooms and complain to them. No one here cares.

Another Kdrama shit show targeted towards perverts who want to date and shag multiple men but want a pure virgin…
Every time I see you comment under one of these shows you are discussing the sex life of the FL. God forbid the FL speaks to a man you immediately accuse her of sleeping around. Korean romance dramas are usually written to appeal to female audience. The men in these shows don’t resemble the men in real life cause no one would want to watch that. How man romance shows are you going to sit through till you understand that you are not their targeted audience. Yet somehow the same loser incels that accuse every man of being a simp clock in daily and watch these romantic shows. Go watch a thriller instead of sitting through 12-16 episodes of romantic kdramas since you are such a macho man.
