he had every opportunity to marry her before the king was even involved but he was just complacent. Even when he introduced her to the king it was by simply saying my neighbor and not my lover. He made no sense to me and I didn’t understand any of his actions.

just finished the drama and I enjoyed it. The ost was fire and the main couple had great chemistry. The middle was a little stagnant and I do agree that the left minister story went on for a little too long. I don’t understand if we were suppose to feel bad for him when he basically gave up the women he loved for no reason. He had every opportunity to marry her but he passed her off to the king for some weird form of protection I don’t understand. everybody knows the palace is the most treacherous place. After he saved her why didn’t he stay with her on the mountain? All in all it was a good decent watch. Didn’t understand how they switched bodies at the end when only the king had his hand under water. I thought they both had to do it at the same time.

The first couple of episodes were excellent. The story for me started to veer off a bit when they had the prisoners racing. Yo Han was a very underwhelming villain to me but tbh all the villains in this story felt one dimensional. All of them doing that same creepy laugh. Kwang soo was the most interesting villain to me. Mostly I endured for Chang Wook.

The premise of the story was really good. I just wish it was executed intelligently. I don’t understand why the twin/doppelganger never thought to take over the dead husbands life? The girls had this golden opportunity but they were moving around so recklessly it was insane to watch. The police officer/sister character didn’t even make since cause why would she investigate when it would have been better for her career to just let her abusive brother disappear. The fact that they admitted to the killing at the end was so underwhelming. I would have loved it if at the end somehow the bodies were switched and the mom and daughter would have went down for the murder and the girls would have gotten away with it.

Just finished the drama and as per usual the biggest criminals are actually the police and the prosecutors. All the evidence they had against the FL was circumstantial at best. Dong Hun was so unethical I have no idea how he was allowed to continue with the case even though he had an innocent person thrown in jail. Not to mention he was releasing videos to the public. Just all around garbage. I have to say that I really hated the way it ended cause it just felt like an after thought. if they had given it a different ending maybe we find out the wife actually did kill her husband or something would have been a game changer. nonetheless it was a good watch and the acting was amazing.

if you are reluctant to watch this show cause you are not a fan of infidelity please note that cheating does not occur. The FL is not in a consensual marriage. She is literally a hostage to the SFL who is an obsessed psychopath that feels entitled to her. Everbody else is her life including her adopted parents are trash they use and abuse her.

100 percent. one of the most annoying things about kdramas is the lack of boundaries the leads have with their ex’s. These people walk in and out of their lives whenever they want. In Asian drama to be considered nice you have to let people walk all over you. it’s incredibly frustrating as a viewer.

The scene of the ex barging into the house and accusing her of cheating was actually terrifying to watch. The man is not just a cheater but he is violent, manipulative and toxic. I won’t be able to stand her allowing him to barge into her life like this. I need her by next episode to stand up for herself.

Just finished this drama and all I have to say is with friends like Song Yeon who needs enemies. She was an emotional terrorist that weaponized her sadness so that Eun Jung would always be as miserable as she was. All she did was complain that she had no one but would be upset every time her friend would care for her or do something nice for. in episode 14 after she steals her work the pure joy on her face was so shocking to me. To top it off she came back and weaponized her cancer just to be a dark cloud in Eun Jung’s life one last time. she deserved to be alone at the end but I’m glad that Eun Jung can finally move on with her life with zero fear she will show up again.

Eyn Jung felt inferior on certain occasions but she never went out of her way to hurt Sang Yeon. While Sang Yeon literally went out of her way to to try to destroy Eun Jung’s life.

Perfectly said. They totally ruined the ending of reborn rich which started off amazing but got unnecessarily complicated at the end. Unless you are getting into a time traveling vehicle I really do need to know the science or magic behind it. It’s always gonna be confusing and there will be loopholes and questions that it’s truly not worth it. If the story is good enough the audience won’t even bother asking those unnecessary questions outside of the people that always have questions or complaints.

it’s not just about loving a bad man. It’s also making horrible financial decisions. She essentially provided emotional, financial and god knows what else support and received little to nothing back from him. The man’s family literally treated her and her mother like trash as if he was the one supporting her. She willingly ignored all of the red flags just because she had invested time in him already and didn’t want to start over.

just finished episode 5 and these are my following observations: 1. it’s insane to me how awful that aunt is considering it was her brother that died. Even her son is kinder than she is. 2. the craziest thing for me to understand in kdramas is when the family says it’s the child’s fault for when a parent dies. Like if the kid asks his parents to take him to the store and they die on the way the child gets blamed for their death. Do they not believe that death is just apart of life. They always seem like they need someone to accuse in kdrama land. Like if the dad turned around at his big age that’s his fault cause every driver knows they need to keep their eyes on the road. Is it not already bad enough the kid lost both of his parents. I’ve seen this in so many dramas. I know y’all might say people grieve differently but sending your grandchild away is the biggest disservice you can do to the dead parents. 3. The doctor knew he liked someone for so long and he literally shows zero interest in him don’t understand why she wants to express her feelings to him now. 4. The entitlement of the uncle to steal and kill for a company that doesn’t even belong to him is crazy. How many people did the man kill at this point. The family is gonna be at a lost when they find out he killed so many people. 5. Ugh somebody please send the white truck of doom for the ex.

yea but she knew in her gut that something was off but she still kept going. She paid for and planned every single aspect of this man life. He didn’t even respect her enough to at least be there with her and spent every moment pretending to be at work. This means that she pretty much overlooked every red flag just to continue with this sham of a relationship. Not to mention her in laws probably were treating her like shit the whole time. Now that she still legally married that nasty family will want to claim that house as well.

Just watched episode 4 and the FL basically raised her ex-husband. Paid for his education, the apartment, the honeymoon. What exactly did this man even contribute to their relationship? They barely saw each other nor did he make anytime for her and spent the last year cheating on her but she still went ahead and registered her marriage. The ML was stunned at her stupidity. Like she’s responsible for all the chaos she’s currently experiencing.

yea since they are still legally married he will feel entitled to the house she won as well 😒

I am already dreading her ex coming back. I just know him and his money hungry family is gonna show up at some point and I’m already annoyed by it. Also that actor has the face of an annoying character.

Her desperate actions are always linked to her mothers phone calls. She borrowed money from her hard working mother only for her to be divorced and scammed.

Just finished watching this drama and up to episode 10 the show was fairly light. I love food so I enjoyed all the cooking on the show. I will have to say the King wasn’t the smartest tool in the box. Why did he agree to the cooking competition with the Ming chefs knowing that guy would never be impartial. If you are looking for an amazing romantic story this ain’t it. The FL and ML have zero chemistry. I didn’t even think she liked him until she said so like in episode 10 or something. The ministers wanted to get rid of a violent king by signing up to be ruled by an even more violent power hungry man. The FL knowing the future didn’t even tell the king about the evil consort. Just all around useless lol. nonetheless it’s a fun mostly light watch. Please don’t expect some sort of grand romance or intelligent political show. This is a good watch for when you don’t want to be emotionally invested in a show and just kind of want something to watch that’s visually appealing.

Time travel is a complicated subject and almost always incredibly difficult to explain. The highlight of the story was the romance and the time travel was mearly a device to bring the couple together. That’s why in majority of Korean dramas they rarely ever explain how the main leads are able to travel. In Twinking Watermelon we don’t know how he was able to travel. Same with marry my husband, moon lovers, Mr queen etc… None of these dramas went into details on how they were able to travel but just had a few rules here and there they needed to follow. Even in Tunnel we had no idea how he was able to go to the future just by going into a tunnel. It’s not the time travel that’s necessarily important it’s the story we should be focusing on. It was easier to explain for example in My perfect stranger as it was not some mystical time travel but one based on technology.
