On Moon in the Day Dec 8, 2023
I think I’m having a past lives fatigue. Almost every drama starts off with a beef steming from the Joseon period Somebody tell Korean writers that we need a break for the 2024 year.

The most annoying thing about past lives is that you have a bunch of arch nemesis you know nothing about. You are gonna find me in my 10th life cause of something I did in my 2nd life. I don’t even know you sir.

How do you know she sleeps with the SML? I didn’t see that in the trailer.
because people love to jump to a million conclusions and create their own narratives. they act like they are being forced to watch these shows.

the person at the end of the trailer that she’s in bed with is the ML not the SML. Look again and you will see that it’s him.

I see y’all are doing the same thing as the people in the drama. Jumping to conclusion about their relationship with barely any context. I actually thought that the FL might of broken up with him cause she found out his mother died saving her mother. I don’t know but we will eventually find out.

I enjoyed this drama a lot. it’s nice to have a solid couple for a change. I really tried to understand the older brother but I just could not understand him. He self isolated from his family because he thought his bio mom was kicked out. instead of directing any anger he had at his father or even grandfather he directed it all at his brother. Again, this is yet another instance where the father gets remarried and does a horrible job at integrating his son with his new wife and siblings.

You have a good point. The translations kept saying step-brother and not half brother. The way the grandfather was speaking at some point made me think he wasn’t a legitimate son. I hope the drama gives us a little insight into the family dynamics. Most of the time the mother tried to get her son into the top position but this lady seems like she hates her child as well and wants to position for herself. thanks for the explanation!

the younger brother referred to him as stepbrother and not half brother so it appears they are not biologically related. I understand that she’s entitled to some resources but it’s her entitlement for the family company that I don’t understand. Especially, her sabatoging her “stepson” and being actively hostile to him. That enough should kick her out of the house. He could give her nothing they do it all the time in companies.

In every kdrama there’s always a random serial killer/murder operating in the background. There has to be a rule or something that requires this. Did the evil stepmother kill his mom? I don’t understand why the grandfather is allowing this lady to run around and mess with his grandchild. it’s always the fathers fault for picking awful women that are usually working for his wife. Do they have to sleep with everything they see?

When he told the grandmother that he was deaf she acted like he confessed to being a registered sex offender. She literally moves like being deaf is contagious and she needs to shield her grandchild from it. Sometimes I be thinking Korea is in a different century. Anytime, something happens in kdramas the neighbors gather outside of peoples homes ready for a witch hunt. Please don’t get me started on the police in these dramas. Always incompetent and angry. they act like everything is an inconvenience to them.

I’ve noticed in several dramas where they had to get permission from other residents regarding who can live in the apartment. Is that some kind of law in Korea? do you have to revel your person info to your neighbors?

why would you watch a revenge drama if you are looking for the FL to just move on? the entire premise is for her to get the revenge she deserves. Plus she just can’t move on cause the threat is still alive and kicking.

I agree with most of the killings, except the rape ones. I only believe murder is justified for another murder.…
I would rather someone take out a rapist or pedophile.

Okay, Mok Ha's reactions to anything about Ki Ho feel way over the top. It seems almost obsessive to me. Yes,…
Imagine truma bonding with someone because both of you are in extremely abusive homes. The entire town gaslights you by telling you that your abuse is not that big of a deal and you should be obedient to your father. Ki Ho is the first person that tells her that her abuse is real and it shouldn’t be happening. He manages to create a safe path for her to get away from her abusive father and follow her dreams that she gave up on. She gets lost on the island for 15 years with no human contact. She has no clue about the condition her friend is in. She didn’t even know if he was alive. What your not understanding is that her life stopped the day that she landed in that island. All her interest are exactly the same as the day she disappeared. Fan girling over they idol, wanting to become a singer etc… Even though time continued she was still mentally in the same place. She had no new human contact to replace any of her childhood memories. If you were her you would be behaving in the same exact manner.

Title Vigilante Spoiler
Anytime there’s a vigilante drama there’s always an annoying obsessed reporter in the background. The ML is moving hella reckless though. Letting that show guide who he attacks. Now they know what type of victims he likes. Looking things up on police database and on instagram. Walking around with no mask. He is a whole police officer. I hope that he covers his tracks.

Title The Worst of Evil Spoiler
I feel so underwhelmed by the ending. Maybe because it was the worst investigation ever. Korean police are so incompetent in kdramas. We are suppose to believe they are high level police officers running a deep cover investigation but they can not contain two rogue police officers? Especially a country with so many rules and hierarchies? Also if it’s an officer for retired police officers how come they have a file for a current officer l? Also, why are civilians able to obtain personal detailed information about police officers? Just an overall mess. Tbh, I hate watching drug related kdramas. I just generally find drug investigation entirely pointless. I thought that we were gonna get a power couple only for them to end up breaking up.
