I’ve watched two episodes so far on iQIYI, and it’s surprisingly good and engaging. It leans more toward a slice-of-life drama but with a plot about conspiracy and uncovering the truth. The ending of episode 1 was crazy honestly, the timing of that reveal wasn’t great 😅, but it still worked really well. I’ll definitely keep watching and just hope for a good ending, because Taiwanese drama endings always raise my blood pressure 😭. I really like the ML his easygoing look is so charming 🤭❤️.
No,😆 So far, there’s zero romance for the ML. Some of the characters have crushes or are already married, we only see little glimpses lol. ML he’s definitely focused on revenge, and despite the lack of romance, it’s a drama that catches your interest right away 🔥😍

The chaos start, and ML burning the world down in peace until he gets his revenge.🤭🔥🔥 Otherwise, he would be constantly worrying about a lover, or enemies using her as bait to force him to surrender the same tired love tropes, boring... lol 🙄 I love romance, but his goal is revenge for his murdered family 😩❤️ Nothing is more romantic than that 😆

I honestly didn’t think this would have romance, so I was shocked when I saw the ML kissing the FL in the photo section 😭. Now the romance feels questionable how does she even accept him as a lover🤔? He keeps looking down on her and her hard work, and he’s just so mean. The male lead’s behavior in the early episodes is really hard to like 😕.
I’m really hoping for genuine character growth and a proper redemption arc, otherwise I’ll be disappointed with the romance. That said, I love that the FL has clear dreams and keeps moving forward 😍. I’ll keep watching for her.
Usually the airing time showed on kisskh matches my time zone, but for some reason this drama shows 2:30 PM even though the episodes are already out on Youku at 11:00 AM. Not complaining though 😂 l love getting them early in the day lol 😆. Gives me time to process all the violent scenes before it gets dark in my city 😬😆. Finished eps 10&11so good 👏🔥
This drama feels like a grandmaster chess player going up against beginners 😌. Xie Huai An is a strategist and honestly, it’s hot 😆🔥❤️. I’m really enjoying this type of ML more than the usual physically strong fighter lol.
The entire cast is amazing too, with great character writing and directing.

But omg from episode 2 onwards, every episode is so good.👏❤️🔥 If you’re starting this drama, I’d recommend watching at least 2 or 5 episodes first to decide whether it’s for you. The ending of episode 5 was insane 😬🔥
