True I saw the MDL cast isn’t always complete, I got curious after those comments and went digging. On Jiang Heng’s Baidu page (like Wikipedia but Chinese), there isn’t much info, and it says that ‘Abo desires as his first drama.’ If that’s true, he’s doing well this role isn’t easy for a debut lol.

The actors are fantastic (yes, I checked their past works🤭). I couldn’t find any earlier dramas by Jiang Heng though.
I’m more familiar with Li Pei En💗 from his earlier roles. He’s mostly played supporting characters, but he’s worked with some amazing directors, and I know he’s capable of even more range than what we see here. He’s still excellent in this, but the potential is there for so much more.
Visually, though, the show delivers so many handsome men 😆 even the supporting actors are easy on the eyes.✋️❤️

The cast list don’t seem to be fully updated yet. I’m curious about the director is it someone new?? Could this be their first full length drama? The potential here is huge, which is why I wish the directing felt stronger.
This ML totally deserves more leading roles he’s just so charming🫠❤️! I’m not sure about his past dramas as ML lol, but this one is definitely his best. Can’t wait for his upcoming drama Road to Success with Esther Yu 👏✨️
