Hahaha, I agree 😅😭! When I first saw the plot and realized he had been sealed in the mountains for five hundred years, I thought he must have done something unforgivable. But no they showed us a flashback! and it made me root for him I was like, ‘Omg, go kill them all!🤣🤣

I would definitely recommend it 🙌❤️. If you love Xianxia, it still carries the usual tropes, but there’s also something fresh about the story😅❤️. So far, the pacing has been really engaging 😍

This has to be one of the saddest backstories for a male lead, especially since we actually see his childhood. 😢😔 It’s crazy how badly he was treated.

On the other hand, the FL wins the award for the most chill and hilarious character 🤣🤣she’s so funny!

Did anyone count how many times the ML said “I’ll kill you” or just talked about killing in general? 🤣🤣 I think he might win the award for most murderous lines in a Xianxia drama 🏆

The ML is such a talented actor I saw him once in a modern drama Lighter & Princess and he was brilliant. Here, he’s doing an equally amazing job. The FL is new to me, but she’s super impressive too.❤️

Overall, I think this is a really well made drama. Youku has definitely been giving us top tier productions this year

I agree with you,I think the author of this novel is so into her fictional characters that it really shows in the writing. But sometimes, when adapting to live action, changes are necessary to make it work as a drama.

I saw and read that ChaiJidan the author of Revenge Love was also in site ,very involved in creating the drama, but the difference is that she hired a professional team, and the director she chose had great experience.

Since the author of Revenge Love wasn’t her first project, she probably avoided repeating past mistakes and she was able to avoid some of the problems that commonly affect novel adaptations

I think the biggest issue with Abo Desire is that the author is also the director!!! and it shows that she still needs more experience.
That being said, the drama is watchable so far. For selfish reasons, though, I really wish the first omega drama had better directing.

However I LOVE the actors they fit their characters so well ❤️
