I don’t know but that scene when he was dying really hit me. Thinking if someone listen to him talk to him just like FL and ML to YX.
I still don’t know if he was taken out from the family’s book. I rewatched some scenes….

Same Same, I was thinking, “Please find something to distract yourself from your misfortunes and learn from your mistakes…” Instead, all I saw was him holding onto grudges and becoming angrier over time. If he had looked at things from a different perspective, he probably wouldn’t have been approached by the ML’s teacher. But if I remember correctly, the ML did say that he had already informed him.

Agree but love his character development towards the end.

Agree agree I was like that too. I was hoping he will change his mind and his ending will be different. I had completed the drama just awhile ago. Sadly his death only affected the ML and his death scene ended so quickly unlike YX. BTW did they removed him from the Chen family’s book? I didn’t know if that was mentioned after that.

At first my thoughts were same as yours but in the end I had grew to like his character.

In this household, seems like everyone listens to ML. No one goes against him. So he is the same. His mother don’t even have the right to arrange his marriage. Do you think he dare to say anything to go against ML? Yes Ml took him in that is why he stayed quiet, did whatever he said. He should had said something, He should never stay quiet. If he had chosen to stay quiet, he should had stay quiet. The girl that he was arranged to be married to it was because the girl’s father had a secret to hold against him. This is not right. Sorry but everyone has their own opinion. This is just a drama. I was just saying my thoughts.

I am watching it from VIU, I do not like how they handle the schedule when express package comes especially from Youko. Now also suffering from another drama and the main source is from MangoTV, WeTV and IQIYI had two days break and now everyday releasing only 1 episode.

Thank you, thank you. I fully understand your point. This is just how I see things and interpret what happened, however I could be wrong. But after the ML told him about his family history, I felt that he started to feel threatened. Then he went to the bridge but didn’t dare to approach her — at least if I remember the sequence of scenes correctly.
YX acted childish at first, but he matured quickly, thankfully. CXQ was the opposite — he used to be mature, but now he’s acting like a child, filled with anger over how things turned out. The ML did ask him about it, but he chose to stay quiet.

It is okay everyone feels differently. Love to hear your thoughts. Oh yes I must agree… as I mentioned he should had stood up for himself and have a proper communication with ML. Sadly he worried too much and didn’t.

Yes yes I was hoping whatever his choice was, Chen family will support him. Really not necessary to kick him or hit him like that…. I feel. They have lack of communication. Suddenly he revealed everything and things got worst.

I get your points…. Using his family detail to force him to marry the girl. Like if you don’t marry her your family detail may be revealed. I still think he should had stood up for himself and say something.

He should have sent the letter back then, not now. Sending it now has no meaning. I have to admit, he looks pathetic now. There were so many things he should have done earlier.
He was angry that she married the third uncle, but he is smart enough that he should have sensed something during their conversations. As for him, he should have stood up for himself and told him the truth directly.

I was so happy after everything that happened. He was finally able to live his own life. He trusted ML, and in return, everyone grew to love him. People had not been kind to him because they believed he could never live up to his father’s name. But he found a different path for himself, and that path truly became his own.

Let me put it this way: he was forced to marry someone he didn’t love. Every part of his life was arranged for him, and ML was always the one with the power to decide whether to accept or reject him. He kept everything bottled up inside for so long, and anyone would eventually break under those conditions.
Still, I hoped he wouldn’t hold onto resentment and would instead choose to live his own life. There was never proper communication between him and ML, and he should have spoken honestly when ML asked him.

I am at episode 34, I feel ML and FL treated Chen Xuan Qing unfairly. He had the right to be angry. Ye Xian with that attitude they still treated him nice.
Still thinking if I should subscribe MangoTV to finish the remainder episodes. IQIYI and WeTV are taking too long to released the rest.

She is selfish and inconsiderate …. And she treats YeXian better (even he hit her) than Chen Xuan Qing.

I really dislike FL character….
