Agree. They manage the scene so well. I like the drama already after watching it with the plot and the well put together cast but the main couple CXX and LLD make me so invested in them You Qing and Ye Tan really are meant for each other!.

Also at least this "old" man is high EQ and IQ. Unlike alot of XianXia lead where they most of the time let their emotion flies due to plot reason as well.

While You Qing prepare for a lot of contingencies in case anything goes wrong. (he did prepared his dead for 1500years) ~

Manifesting, the patience for myself to not watch the following EPs because I the progress of this drama make me not wanting to watch them to go to the angst part. So I want to have the patience to wait till it aired fully to watch the last few EPs. Highly doubt I can.

Speaking of ending...Not much talked about sadly bsc HS is just a grey character and plotting here and there in the end might be the villain. I feel bad for Qin Heng the most he is the only one in novel have a crush on YeTan but never proceed to anything just help her here and there.

In Drama he like HS which is a shady character too. he did one questionable thing for the sake of his brother revival but apart from that he also deserve not to be alone ~ but sadly I dont see how he and HS will end up tgt

So nicely put I am so in love with YQ and YT so much more each passing EPs. I love the way you put it "he love her so much it hurts". Every time she mentioned about her past and he see them and he see her getting bullied. He will get the revenge he will make thing right for her. Her getting bullied is a NO for him.

EP 31 how he go to faced her father and giving that reply of hw YT is his life

EP 32 knowing YT yearning bring her to take the gift.

You can see how hurt he is watching her cry.

Which is why I am going to hate the EP where he will go against her. Told this a few times. You Qin will NEVER by his own thinking lift a blade against YT.

Other XianXia MC got their BS reason but YQ time and time proves he will become a villain for YT (not like the evil way) but he will!.

He even willing change the star to curse another person just bsc he is that unhappy of the situation. Same when he is in heaven rather have punishment than following what YT said and let it go!.

Pure speculation, YQ will go against YT due to his father extracting his memory but I think he also predicted this hence why he taught YT how to fight and how to disarm his star seal.
Also rmb in trailer where YQ got back the star he gave YT, I guess that will do the trick of regaining his memory.

They mix Dongqiu Shu into Husui honestly. She can seem blur and all but all her wording like how she purposely tell QK that as she is the flower of life (I guess she wanted to use that) is all a big plot.

Apart from the Youku doing stupid thing again by cutting scene but this time for the 2nd couple. The EP is super sweet.

This drama always do foreshadowing in a good way, through word or action

For instance all the shards are born from an action or words.

So... in this two EP (purely speculative based on teasers and all)

The main character both YT and YQ said a lot of stuff that will happen opposite I guess. (Rephrasing)

EP 31: YQ mention so many time how he will protect her etc.

YQ - I will protect her no matter if the sky fall or the earth shook. She is my life.

EP 32: In the hot spring part where YQ said he is healing ady but does not seem to be fully healed and kiss YT ensuring her its just that.

I think when the POS Emperor hit him he did something maybe the artifact...and this is why YQ will go against YT in the trailer?. (how he will rmb back also I think is due to the star he gave her and all the thing he taught her (like the sword fight, his seal break method)) I guess YQ was preparing for any possibility. He is the MAN.

Also YT listing all the happiness she is in now and ended with

Now this is some cruel POS. with only so few EP LEFT!.

I swear as an adult this drama is making me embarrassingly giggle over scebeand frustrated over how the ending is and being upset for YT and YQ all the way hahahaha. I guess its been awhile since I am so invested. I am even more invested in this drama than other XianXia drama when I first watch C-drama.

I am sure that POS emperor has all of it to do with that. As in this drama only I don't see any reason the guy would choose to go back without her or go against her.

In gamer term he is basically a SIMP too deep in love with her hahaha. He would do anything as long its her involvement hahaha

All I hope is they dont dwell on YQ going against YT (like in the trailer) so long... One EP max or half EP =.=. This drama more so than other the ML will never point his sword at the FL.

YQ sacrifice himself for YT. The saddest part is everyone expect YT knew this and found it out after a long time. Everyone avoided the topic and as for YT she think that bsc YQ prioritise the heaven and got married off with someone else, she secluded herself into studying. Then after a long time pass she only devastatingly found out he sacrificed himself for her survival. yes its a BE.

Thou from trailers and up to nw there are quite a few changes in the Drama (maybe and in trailer/song she seem to sac herself (which YQ did not let it happen - in novel). I just don't want to see them just throwing the FL to sac again as usual in every single XianXia but the novel one is opposite and the amount of pain after reading the last. Especially in this drama.
