Thou its not ended yet it will this week but honestly to me if they do the ending like a shitty one I would still give credit up to the ending it where everything is done so well for me. Even thou the might is pos. I will give it 8/10 bsc I think all the ep leading up till now is worth that much.

but if the ending is done well be it happy or bad. I would rate this drama very high up 9/10 (not 10/10 bsc its xianxia some trope are still there bsc I kinda outgrew those trope) but 10/10 if you are ok with those and love the drama.

Well what this story establish Void emperor is really dumb and useless. Heavenly emperor is the same but with added stupidity thinking he can rule everything make him even more so a pos.

I think your theory is right hence why I think the HE erased YQ memory so he can help defense against YT but oh boy being as dumb as him I am sure he did not realise that YQ love for YT is not easily replaced!. YQ did so many for YT...to think he is still dumb enough to believe after everything a stupid artifact can save him from YT!. Even thou everyone around this stupid emperor told him if he gets rid of YT, YQ hate him or in my own translation he will sure kill everyone too lol. hence why I think he is stupid too YQ form coming back 2.0 already establish he will go against anyone whom try to harm YT. Its like one and only drama where the lead will do that the HE not seeing it really is a pos.

Apart from that, although no one talk about it. I am really unsure on how they gonna progress Qing Heng story. I think in the end he will be the heavenly emperor but damn if HS is not with him in the end it is really the one lonely HE. He really did good too thou naive aside but still very good intentions all around for him and always helping people. So really hope he does not ends being lonely.

As the director did AOL RY thou in his case RY have one BEST loyal follower to be with him but he does choose being alone in the end too.

To me this drama is a solid drama by itself although its fantasy it does the mortal realm and a bit after that more comedic and light hearted but when the scene jump to any sad scene i tdoes JUMP and its quite quick pace.

What sold it to me and got me invested is totally the cast. CXX and LLD sold their role perfectly while other cast like the sister QK and CF did very well to and not to mention all the side character seem to have good development and I LOVE Man Man hahaha...ha...ha...ha.

From other review I saw CXX the original voice does sound deep and it will take a few ep to get used too as most of the cast use their own voice but to me I don't feel the issue and I love it as the story progresses.

As for LLD role her she might show those typical goes against rule around the first arc but that's her trait she does not really follow rule and she knows it and its not about being naive she does it because its who she is. Gradually she will show her true self (still being playful at times) but a heart of compassion and yearning.

A bit of bias bsc I am truly in love with them both after this drama and I started this drama with expectation it will be the same as other XianXia plus the actors and actress are all really new to me as the director did mention he did not want to cast traffic leads.

True enough it does fall short a bit compare to the devil and fairy in term of views and rating in MDL now especially (which I find just a good drama but nothing to hit home about IMO only.) but as of now 35ep (hope everything goes right for the ending) I like the drama as a whole and LOVE the main CP haha.

Furthermore, this plot the sister are best of the best!. HXL as QK is a very good and responsible / dutiful elder sister but also not naive. Her being good to other is out of her owns which stay consistence and there is no fights between the sister. They stay in a very good relationship.

Still in the end come to personal preference. That said, you could give it a try nonetheless

Make sense, Thou to me as she is a very tragic past person she is also plotting alot which is shady to me like you said she has every right.

I feel the only reason GuiXu will re-open again is not because of YT and I feel her telling QK those word somehow make it even more align with her betraying YT.

I feel she want YT to destroy the world in her stead but once YT let go of this idea due to YQ regaining his memory and finding her back. HS will finally show her side of the coin.

The dream scene hits me so hard. She blame herself being the disaster and have fear YQ will choose the world over her no matter what. (WHICH IS NOT TRUE).

How YQ reassured her is so beautiful to watch too sadly we all know whats gonna happen next. TT

This is too much LLD scene for all her expression and sadness I really felt it... and the dream and the dream scene with CXX on the latest ep. She told YQ someone want to kill her but never tell him that its him and how he reassured her their facial expression i cant get over it like how devestated she is and she is thinking to herself she is the cause of it and scared YQ will because of the world kill her and to get the assurance from him and his eyes filled with sadness but also wanting to make it light as he was talking to her so she can rest. SO GOOD!. The cast are all good but the main couple man too good.

I cr8 MDL for the first time and checking comment left right and center after like 6/7 years of watching any drama from English, to Kdrama and Cdrama, japan anime so most drama for me which follows the same plot kind of feel meh to me ady.

Then going on bilibili for tidbits of spoilers here and there haha... giggling on happy scene and being in pain for anytime anything happens hahahah.

Never knew I as an adult will have this this kinda days for this drama haha

LLD does act all her crying scene very well up to this point very emotional indeed.

YQ is the strongest. HE was injured and fought back al whole void realm army that time (I think if he want he could kill them that time but he was too injured and its YQ lol)

So after YT got her power they will make her stronger or on par with YQ hence why they are the only one able to fight against each other.

Yea kinda agree...he would lie to her once that time but he will never point his blade toward her. I feel the story up to this point ady established that.

Thou the sword dance/style is the only one YT know how to use bsc its the only one she is taught. Plus I think that power drop from the the sky is the star seal that YQ taught YT hw to break it.


So in the end is all in his plan my man!. Contingency plan hahahaa

I mean the story from star apart from maybe EP 31/32 where there is relax time its always moving the plot forward so I can see

35 - QK dies ends with YQ memory being extracted.
36 - YT turn evil and powerful > go in void realm and kill the king and empress.
37 - Fights YQ end with YQ get his memory bac
38 - goes up to heaven fight the heavenly emperor
39 - GX opens surviving GX and end with YT sac herself
40 - Finding way to res the sisters. Hopefully HE....

Hahahaha, too much overthinking happening and with even more spoilers here and there floating around that it might be an open ending that would be even freaking worst than a HE or BE. My mental slowly turning insane hahahaha. Its only 5 more days including today eps. crossing all fingers hahaha. Gods intervention needed (not the stupid heavenly emperor) for a good ending (be it HE or SE) as long its not OE. :🤭🤭🤭

Edit: Doom indeed I am here re-watching Forever and Ever as I love the slow pacing and calm of the story (Ignoring one and only) and its quite happy to ease my anxiety lol

ZLS can be YT she can be good but with how LLD act the scene and all the micro expression together with CXX... I am totally in love with them.

They are both very irreplaceable to me already.
