I want to see how it end but to me the pacing of the drama is good from start to finish they did not linger in one moment too long time i think they give a breather to something not happening is in the 31/32 to feed us some joy apart from that its all business.
Thou I can see that they can do more like let us linger in one moment longer but I am also happy its paced this way as we wont get too bored but the cast is so good I don't think it will so I can see it.
I will be devastated it going to end but I am happy we have a change of pace in XianXia and lovely CPs and good moment which I am totally addicted too
Ep 38 further solidified that GuiXi opening really seem to be HS doing for me. yes justified to killing the emperor but I think YeTan did not really want to kill him but when she said for QK it triggers her.
I think apart from YQ being merciful and all I think he sees something off with HS in that moment he although he never stop what his wife is doing. He won't want to see her go into a hellbent road (like once you start killing it will never stop motion).
Yes we can argue about how its justified for HS doing so but triggering it like that in that way seem very very vengeful and I am not liking the tone one bit meaning she might go berserk and led to the re-opening of GX even after the heavenly emperor died.

The Heavenly Emperor got his position I am guessing through all his stupid evil plots but the Void King have no good plans at all and even just follow through what HE said and never think of why HE wanted QK death too. Like how dumb can a king be? I mean at this point WuDai is bex100 time better than him.
Back to King/ruler, the beast realm is also meh in IQ lol. Lets not talk about the human realm one... he had no power at all as a king and got pressured into submitting his daugther 18 years of nothingness. Even food also cant give her a good one ?!. I am just happy YT got her wish came through but ain't no way he have no way do help as a KING but now he seem to be the better one such a funny thing.
I guess the gist of this drama is no one realm king are amounted to much. Even if people say the beast realm one is good but he basically did nothing much too bsc the focus is not on him.
YQ can literally wipe the floor with all of them if he was evil =.=. Like in drama the one suitable to be everything is YQ . he plan his death, come up with contingencies to protect his realm in his stead, prep everything in advance to help those he want to help.
It's also frustrating how Youku keeps on releasing the best parts, like, now that we know what's gonna happen…
Honestly this drama I don't mind getting spoiled in lower quality hahaha. The anticipation is killing me and to me this drama have re-watch factor for me. I go back to ep1 and speed run through all the moments again like so many time.
Plus even that youku two bts scene special lol I also brought it even thou there is literally all over the net. I never sub to YouKu and this is the first I am sub.
It goes to show the cast in this drama did a very good job and watching the best part in the drama itself is much more engaging!.

This yes!. I never heard of her before and CXX i got to know him from GMP but he is not the focus point. This drama really sky rocketed them for me and I love both of them so much. Their acting are on point!
People say "eyes speak a thousand words" a lot of the scene here where there are no big crying scene and all (although I cry every time she cries in this drama) but it's a touching/sad scene it hits and like a train wrecked too. Be it happy scene or sad.
The way they two look at each other too. Totally melts me. If you cant tell by now I am down bad for them lol.
