Yup, definitely one of the strongest. For me, "Free" hit the right spot just with the lyrics alone.

American movie awards are pointless now and don't represent quality anymore... Who knows if Grammy still holds any weight either... But KPop Demon Hunter OST deserves all the praise, a few songs even manage to overthrow Taylor Swift from Spotify's Worldwide TOP xD

Production quality is great. I enjoyed it for the most part. However, unfortunately, this is another case where intelligent characters are dumbed down in later episodes to move the plot forward. It's a shame when writers are not willing to do justice to characters and insult the intelligence of viewers.

Scene order in live-action is a bit messy. In donghua it is more fluent and makes more sense. And yeah, they didn't explain much either, but at least has more sense. I took it as a jade token trinket was a one-off thing. Han Li used it for reinforcement. And suspicion of the Beast sect was cleared by the time Han Li sent intel of betrayal. But drama editors mess up scene order...

Zero. They actually should rename it to "Countless beautiful women that keep falling for Han Li."

Just finished ep 155, and I gotta say there is no way live-action gets funding for adapting the story further... Tbh, I will be surprised if Yang Yang's star power is enough to greenlight a second season. And if they do, I think I know when they stop. But, if they keep feeding as with hobo cultivators under the same tree trunk over and over again, it will be a huge disappointment again. Variety in decorations is very poor in live action.

FYI, it is on their YouTube channel, 16 eps are free, and the rest are for "members only" but will be free eventually.

- Season 1 (21 eps)
- Season 2 (28 eps - from 22-49 in total)
- Season 2 Special (26 eps - from 46-72 in total) And yes, the first 3 eps are the last 3 from S2 for some reason.

Welp, these live-action 30 episodes cover 63 episodes of donghua - "A Record of Mortal's Journey to Immortality". And, to be honest, I enjoyed donghua more - better flow to the story, warmer characters, more context, gorgeous backgrounds, bigger scale.
