my only regret from this drama is watching the same scenes 3-4 times in the 3 episodes. I agree the POVs changed but I would've liked them to show the same scene at least with a different camera angle. Even though slow burns are my thing but, the video repetition just seemed lazy on the production side. Overall, it felt like they were trying to fit 6-8 eps into 10. But I don't mind watching video repetitions as long as there's Roh Jeong Eui in it. She still looks a bit unhealthily pretty to me though.
phew..., I somehow managed to drag my feet through this mess and finish it. All the shit with 2ML was making me burn with frustration. I mean girl how can you jump ships without a gap? That's basically two-timing even though there was no overlap. Ep 20-39 i just skimmed through at 5 minutes per ep for the sake of my sanity.
no... remember how factory people told in earlier ep that they had to pay remaining amount soon
might as well be him having to be a househusband due to FLs carelessness. Remember he had to give up a lot due to his wife’s mistake. I guess that somehow reached a peak in recent years

That's true... poor FL is getting all the hate in the world from viewers for being selfish when all of that is due to depression out of guilt for causing her son's accident, her husband nagging all the time, her father abandoning her, her mother having dementia .
exactly. How did this drop to 7.8? When there are shit load of mediocre romcoms enjoying 8.5s
don't get me wrong i love watching romcoms... its just that they tend to be rated better and people overlook details which should bring the ratings down a bit. While the same detail gets highlighted more for non romance. Anyway my initial point was why were some people dissatisfied with the lack of romance in this drama

How wild does peoples imagination run? Even before watching something they decide what it may have. The 1st group of haters don't deserve to watch kDramas. For 2nd group of haters, I personally prefer older women/younger man romances but a 53v26 romance seems a tiny bit creepy. 99% kDramas are not noona romance are they gonna down vote everything.
1. Mu Rim can't be involved in a case coz his mother is a suspect, makes sense. 2. Mu Rim can investigate burning of the laundry run by his mother. 3. A police chief can lead an investigation on her daughter's in-law. 4. A detective can be involved in a case where her mother-in-law is a suspect. 5. A police chief's daughter and son-in-law report to directly to her.
Hello? Ever heard of a thing called conflict of interest? That too in a public office. Surely that's not ok in any country.
I read some comments below about how scary some scenes, are. yeah, and then I started episode 1 using a headphone.…
I don't understand why everyone is talking about scary scenes. I 99.99% skip anything remotely in horror genre. But kdramas in general are not at all scary, I was laughing at the scares in Exhuma, Revenant and now this. Maybe its my bias due to watching only these 3 in korean horror genre
wait a sec.... how did Gang Ju realize Cha Rim is Da Rim's sister? I mean the names are similar and Da Rim did say her sister works there. Its a bit of a long shot to guess like that.
I really need to rant after watching last night's episode and the preview of E9. Everything is just stressful.…
woah.... just saved myself from spoiler land. I didn't know that there's something called Genie Tv premium which is 2 eps ahead. Anyway thanks for the warning I didn't read 2nd half of your comment
The way this movie's message hits you is different. The scene at the in-laws house where they show how people treat a daughter vs daughter-in-law was very hard to watch. The sacrifices of a woman that are expected to be duties when they get married is a sad state of our community. I really wonder why don't everyone treat daughter-in-laws the same way they treat their daughters? She's also someone's daughter.
Another frustrating part was how everyone was so focused on the son and conveniently ignored the wishes and aspirations of the two daughters. If a father and mother don't treat son and daughter the same way how would you expect the in-laws to be any different.
Overall the movie showed a hard hitting reality of the patriarchal society. I wish every guy in the world watch these kinds of movie and learn to respect every woman for being such a strong warrior in life facing all kinds of challenges. I wish all parents see these kinds of movies and learn how to treat both daughters of their family and daughter in laws of their family the same way. If you don't change how do you think your child would be when he/she is your age? Society changes when you change.
