I certainly am glad for the censorship otherwise I would have missed out on this work
Yes my point exactly… it’s a really good drama as it is… There is already something that’s more than a bromance between the leads. It’s not like a steamy scene would take it from 8.5 to 10 ratings

it’s not like can’t wrap their heads around the idea of two men in love. I am ok with it. But I would rather not watch it. I might be ok watching a GL cause I don’t have to relate to it or anything. But BL I might be a bit uncomfortable watching myself.
if there were some poll somewhere which tells the gender percentage of viewership then you would see lot of female viewership for BL and lot of male viewership for GL. So the same people defending the censorship would have been crying due to it if this were a GL adaptation.
So I don’t think most people are against two people of same gender in love. Most are ok as long as they are not watching.

well I for one am not seeing the drama as dull… there is still some amount of tension between the leads, it’s not like they removed that part entirely. They just decided to focus on other aspects which would in turn increase the viewership and their income. Remember producing a drama is a business at the end of the day. I just gave my opinion why they would censor.
I couldn't get through the first episode of this. I really wanted to love it, but I found it a huge struggle to…
Trust me you wouldn’t complain about a romantic low especially when it comes to this Director. From someone who has watched this show so far I definitely am not feeling the loss of lovely runner at all. This will give you actual butterflies

Well most people skip a drama just based on LGBTQ+ tag. Drama description, story and cast come afterwards. Personally I always first look if I like the genres and then have a look at all tags. Only if I am comfortable watching those only then do I look at ratings. story and comments. Otherwise I skip them eyes closed. I guess for most people it’s LGBTQ+ tag. As a guy it’s a different question if it were GL but that’s very rare in kDrama anyway
I just started watching this at EP 4. What I can't get my head around is how much the main coach is against the ML joining the team. He even is not ready to allow ML with a top 5 finish and sets a target of 2.1m which would be a top 3 finish. I am surprised how only coz he is short the coach only wants the ML if he is international-level talent. As if there are only international talents who make a career out of the sport. A bit disappointed with this aspect.
Great points but I see things a bit different. I don’t see the progression being the issue at the moment. What…
I don't see why people keep terming ML as pushy and bulldozing the FL into a relationship with him. As FLs lawyer friend says in EP 8 "SHJ is such an idiot, only she doesn't know what everyone else can see" and the lawyer's husband claims he knew they would eventually start dating.
If you consider the above 2 statements then the ML only dared to confess, kiss and kept at it was because he was able to see and understand the "love lasers" the FL was unknowingly shooting at him. Otherwise, he isn't dumb enough to risk a sexual assault which would ruin his teaching career and the current relationship as a teacher-student.
Just imagine a guy liking a girl and the girl giving you signals that everyone but her could see. I don't think any guy would be stupid enough to let it go.
damn ep 8 is something else... I barely finished 15 minutes runtime in last 45 minutes.... I am just rewinding and rewatching.... ah the butterflies.... I didn't get this feel for so long since SITR and OSN
Just finished this... frankly, I didn't see any motivation behind the romance of both the leads. It felt like the 1st kiss came out of thin air and so did the feelings for each other. I just couldn't see how ML switched from revenge to love in one moment. I was even more baffled with how FL also reciprocated in almost as quick time from being frustrated with ML to being in love. I spent quite a bit of time forwarding it as it was so bizarre and childish the way the ML, FL, and SFL were playing around. I only felt the antagonist character had good enough motivation and logic behind whatever he was doing.
I still get baffled every time I see Kim Su Hyun... she's literally unrecognizable from herself in Gyeongseong Creature.... The makeup profession is no joke.... scary
