Uh oh! I have a sweet tooth - I'm not sure how I'm going to stare at the screen for 1.5 hours each episode trying to resist my urges and cravings!

I absolutely love watching food shows and competitions - they inspire maximum creativity in contestants and viewers eager to replicate or improvise the recipes.

While looks and talent are utmost important for an actor, so is popularity, sponsorship and network/connections. Although she has been blacklisted for her recent outbursts, I sincerely hope the enormous support from her fans, the steady ranking and her solid performance in Love's Ambition will open up doors for her with more agencies willing to sign her on again. Zhao Lu Si is one of the most hardworking celebrities and she is now in a good position to make a comeback. I hope an opportunity will come by soon enough.

Title Love Yourself Spoiler
I do not understand the scene in the last episode when Yu Tian arrived on a motorcycle. Can anyone explain it…
I can't remember which episode it was nor the specific details but Karen was sharing with the girls what she thought would be the perfect wedding scene as she imagined herself riding on a Harley Davidson with her groom. Maybe Yu Tian was finally ready to propose to her?

A strong friendship group that sticks through thick and thin together, very heartwarming. All characters are full of flaws and that is what makes them interesting to watch as they go through highs and lows . The only thing that detracted my enjoyment of this series is the personal narrative at the end of each episode. While the theme song was nice, it was too loud and overshadowed the narration. The narration was meant to recount events and include the author's thoughts, feelings and reflections on a specific experience but somehow I struggled to connect with them because it felt like the actresses were just delivering their lines off a script with limited emotional expressions.

Man and woman can most definitely have a platonic relationship (with a lot of restrain at first hehe)!! I have a really close buddy like Yu Tian in real life and people often mistake him as my bf so I can totally relate to Yi He & Yu Tian being nothing more than just bosom friends. Over the years it has become a habit for us to defend one another blindly and sometimes that can lead to disagreements or arguments with my bf but both men are indispensable and they each acknowledge their existence and importance in my life 😁

There were also hypocritical moments when I turned on these girls, despising how weak and irrational they had become, going back to their selfish ex-boyfriends multiple times or initiate break ups due to insecurities only to realise I was once in the same predicaments too. So now I can finally understand how frustrated my bf, friends and family were at that time when I did the same!

I have always been a sucker for slice-of-life dramas that center around relationships. Most likely you'll enjoy this series if you liked Ode To Joy S1 & S2, Twenty Your Life On S1 & S2 & My Best Friend's Story. I'll rate this 7.5.

Cases to be covered:1. JMS2. Brother Welfare Support3. Sampoong Department Store Collapse4. Jijonpa serial murder…
Thanks for providing us with this list. I thought they would cover the Seoul's Halloween crowd crush incident too. That was truly a national tragedy that affected so many people globally. I still couldn't get over it myself, I can only imagine what it's like for the bereaved families and survivors who felt guilty surviving the incident, when their friends/families perished. It's so true - while survivors can live to tell the tale for others to learn from them, they themselves still have a long journey ahead to overcome the trauma. 😭

There's so much to love about this show:
1. The duo judges - I love their insight, interactions and their bickering over food comments.
2. The contestants - such a pleasant mix bag of talented chefs who really bring their A-game to the competition so it was truly worth watching every single episode with no boring bits. There were some very outlandish, quirky, cocky and even outright silly characters but all of them were serious about cooking and not just for the sake of appearing on a TV show.
3. The rules and challenges - I appreciate how this show is not all about who cooks the best dish wins. It also tests their food knowledge, cooking techniques, culinary skills, personal creativity, communication and leadership skills, cooking in teams and under pressure, their business acumen and so much more. I love how each round's challenge is unique and non-repetitive.
4. Series Length - Overall an easy watch with just the right number of episodes . Editing was necessary to hasten the flow otherwise it would be too long to watch each contestant cook from start to end but you get to hear the comments from the judges enough to know how each contestant went.

I definitely will stick around for Season 2 and more. 🥰😍

I actually didn't mind this series despite the high episode count. I LOVE the chemistry between Ha Na and Eun Chong - his character may only be a young kid but he's got an old soul and they just light up the screen whenever their scenes are played out 🥰 It's really hard to penetrate a bond as strong as theirs - they are inseparable like two peas in a pod 😄

Title Sleep Spoiler
I get the wife's mental anguish and anxiety over a series of inexplicable incidents but it was borderline insanity for me towards the end when the writer tried to overwrite the story of a man with a perfectly treatable medical condition and replace it with supernatural elements and then ended it abruptly, was a turn off for me.

How could the wife even get away with kidnapping and assaulting her neighbour (more like attempted murder to be honest) and also killed her neighbour's pet dog be allowed to raise her own child? To me, that is probably a more serious problem than her husband being possessed by a spirit!

How does this work? Does that mean Lee Da In is also cutting ties with her sister Lee Yoo Bi and mum? That is truly sad...I mean if things don't work out with Lee Seung Gi and his family in the future or when she has personal problems, she should still be able to reach out to her immediate family (except her dad) for help and support. Why can't they just announce that they are severing ties with her dad? I hope her dad sincerely reflects on how his own mistakes brought pain to the victims and broke up his own family.

Everything was perfect for me - from casting to script, to performance and storytelling. I must however, give credits to the subtitles production team. Without good translation, non-korean native speakers will not be able to fully understand and appreciate the meaningful dialogues.

I hope everyone involved in the production of this drama wins big at the upcoming Baeksang awards.

What a real pity that they could not continue with the production of this drama. The story was very engaging and I love the cast! Just two episodes in and I was already hooked - wish I could see how the story unfolded and how it ended. If they can't pick it up from where they left I wish they could start over because I could see so much potential with such a stellar cast but I suppose even if they did, it would be hard for the original cast to get together again without conflicting schedules.

Person Kim Soo Hyun
All this crap aside, I find a few things extremely disturbing that's causing ME mental anguish and not just his mental instability - regardless of when they officially dated, as a human being, as someone who once seemingly cared and was genuinely in love with Sae Ron, WHY didn't you pay your respects at her wake to bid her final farewell? My best guess is - you felt sorry/guilty for all you had done?

She tried to protect you to the end for not exposing your relationship with her but you on the other hand couldn't wait to get rid of her by blocking her from contacting you. You really shouldn't have denied your involvement with her in the first place - you make yourself look like a despicable fool now, needing to justify your actions to the world. You talk about your mental instability - have you ever thought of how Sae Ron was once in your shoes, feeling completely desperate, hopeless while all the time under public scrutiny being mocked for simply doing her best to start over but your company had to make it harder for her?

I don't know how all this will play out but this is a classic lesson of why we shouldn't be telling lies...

… Two years later, “perfect potato” Shin Hyun Seung is in now-airing drama The Potato Lab. 🤣🤣🤣
I actually had the exact same thought too - I would have struck first prize if I bought a lottery ticket that day....and your analysis of my probability in winning a prize is spot on!! Even better, if my sixth sense allowed me to time travel, I would surely be able to purchase a ticket for you in advance 😉

I feel your pain - I often have to travel to attend my idols' concerts so the real cost of their tickets actually includes air tickets plus accommodation, CDs and official merchandise....ouch!

I'm a foodie too yay (which explains my profile pic)!! I'm just not a big and/or fussy eater, but my cravings will hold me in ransom if I don't satisfy them quick enough. They will keep popping up in my head and do crazy things to me and I'll eventually end up with food coma after lol . 😋 Like you, I also try to justify my spending but when it comes to food, I'm morally bankrupt. 🤣

lol talk about the power of perception, sixth sense! Who could have known 2 years on that he would be remotely related to the term "potato" just like how I had described him then 🤣😍

I'm just truly devastated and heartbroken. For most people, our lives would have just begun at 24 and hers ended at 24. If no one wanted to help her when she was still with us, don't pretend you would have done something about it now that she is gone, and worse, talk about her and her family disrespectfully. If you don't want bad things to happen to yourself, don't inflict the same pain onto others.

Dong Hua became someone who liked to be alone not because of his heart's desire, it happened because of fate.…
I think the change in DH was triggered as a result of his experience of love, life and death in the mortal world and plus he also had vague memories of his past life with XB after he returned to the immortal world. It's not so much that she was the only one who understood his desire for affection but because she was different from others - because of his status, looks and power, others often came to him with a personal agenda or ulterior motives, always eager to manipulate or use him for protection. Unlike others, XB was the only person who would selflessly sacrifice herself to protect him over and again, and this he acknowledged it himself whilst reminiscing and ruminating about the past. He liked that she was innocent yet playful and a great cook too 😍

I doubt XB truly understood DH's desire for affection - her own insecurities always drove herself away from him and even in the end, it was the others who had to explain, persuade and convince her that DH had always been faithfully in love with her. If she truly understood him or his desires they would not have had frequent misunderstandings.

But to answer your question - yes, I wouldn't be able to hold back too if I met the love of my life (and I did 🥰) but DH & XB's characters in this drama have taught us to exercise restraint in relationships - XB had to lose her obsession with DH and DH had to overcome his fear of losing XB. I'm not always rational or disciplined when it comes to love. DH loves to disect and analyse every detail. I would rather just go with the flow. Over thinking always complicate matters 😒

The explanation is b*llsh*t. Where on earth a guy gives his girlfriend a proposal ring as a birthday ring, with…
The gf would be heaps disappointed too lol if they went on a romantic getaway and then bf drops down to his knees, brings out a ring only to say ..... "Happy Birthday???!!!"

Still I applaud him for his bold action/proposal coz I think that's really sweet 🥰

The entire time in the latter half of the series, I kept laughing and cringing at how childish Emperor Dong Hua got whenever he was around FJ - while I get that love can make us childish, sooky and playful, somehow that contradicts his image as a cold and aloof, advanced age celestial being. Still, his transformation or should I say character development was very refreshing to see but at times a little too corny! 😄

Lee Joon Hyuk is on the roll - in the last couple of years he has played the protagonist and antagonist across so many genres in dramas and movies and I must say he is one outstanding actor that tops my list. I started liking him since Three Brothers - I'm so proud to see him grow with versatility 🥰

Everyone looked so ruminative at the script reading - must be rehearsing an intense scene!
