It was difficult for me to watch not only because Sulli is no longer with us but the way she kept pondering over questions asked by the director/interviewer, often with long pauses, gave me the impression that she had lots to say but was filtering her thoughts whilst trying her best to restrain her emotions. While we could express ourselves so freely, her words and actions seemed to weigh a tonne with constant public scrutiny. 😢
The tune of the opening theme song reminds me of Chinese New Year lol. It's cute, I could certainly use some silly daft jokes. It's 24 episodes long so I hope they can maintain good humour throughout and not done over the top.
Not sure if each and every song played in this drama will be shown at the end credits of each episode coz I haven't…
I'm afraid I won't be able to help you with this sorry. The song's title and other details were sourced directly from the drama's end credit but personally, I don't know where you could stream this music sorry.
does someone know the title of the songs the drama are using? I keep shazaming the songs but can't get anything🥲
Not sure if each and every song played in this drama will be shown at the end credits of each episode coz I haven't seen any sorry but one of the songs played in Ep05 was Safe & Sound and details are as follows: Lyricist - Jay Denton Composers - Robbie Rider, Katrina Mae Stone & Benj Heard Singer - Aaron Michael Kellim
This was good fun and some scenes really cracked me up big time. The slapstick humour (at times a tad over the top) kind of reminded me of the Reply 1988, 1997 & 1994 series....
I don't know about the drama, but the title needs an oscar on it's own😅🙃
That was my first thought as well lol. I wonder if the direct translation of its chinese drama title (according to google) "You within reach" is a more suitable title but hey it caught our attention at least...
He's making me swoon with those reading glasses on, such a cutie! Must be hard to work around the clock and still need to travel globally to promote themselves and the series but glad his efforts are paying off...can see the auditorium is almost full :)
Such a pity there were no subtitles available for this drama because I thoroughly enjoyed it except for the ending which left me wondering whether she would cave in and say yes....
For those who can understand conversational mandarin, you should give this drama a go, all the characters were relevant and made the story grounded to the end.
I'm a HUGE fan of korean actress Seo Ji Hye and I can't believe how much Ma Chun Rui resembles her in appearance. Both of them are incredibly beautiful :)
I was watching this today without first reading the sypnosis or checking out the cast list hence I was totally surprised to see Moonbin appear on screen but my heart ached heavily when he delivered his lines "Thank you for taking care of me to the end....I didn't expect to go that far away....It's going to be a long journey..." I hope he's happy and at peace whereever he is now, rest assured he will not be forgotten....
She has gone through lots of ups and downs recently and I'm so happy the audience is giving her a chance to prove just how talented she is as an actress. I have an even bigger soft spot for her older sister Lee Yoo Bi. So far the cast and storyline is very promising but sageuk dramas often have poignant endings so I'm not holding my breath on this one.
Seo Ji Won's 'Gather My Tears' from his 1996 album 'Tears'. The 1st track on A-side of the cassette. You're welcome!…
Lol, you truly are an avid fan of either this drama or Ahn Hyeosep. I hope the remake will be a great success and we can all indulge ourselves in another beautiful love story that transcends time and space :)

Thanks Chibi for the reply. I was curious about this song so i looked it up on YouTube and I was sad to learn that this was the last song Seo Ji Won recorded. He committed suicide after he finished recording the song :( I think I now understand why this particular song was chosen....there are just too many life tragedies that people wish they could revisit that moment and change the outcome, hoping it never eventuated. Seo Ji Won, his family and fans would be honored to have this song as part of the drama's soundtrack :)
I cried buckets watching Someday or One Day. I'm convinced this is going to be a real tear-jerker too. Looks like the cassette player/tape is again going to be the device that would help teleport the FL back to where ML is so I wonder which song the Korean remake will choose as the theme song.
All the characters in this drama were full of flaws but I don't think they were "born" with evil roots but rather greed and circumstances changed and drove them to pursue the unthinkable repeatedly and relentllessly until the point of no return. Some characters started out innocent but because of personal harship, revenge, inferior complexities etc, majority of them went all out to hurt others with only a handful would reflect, regret and repent. What bothered me most was how each and every one of them was able to find reasons and excuses to justify their own wrongdoings. In the end it was all this wrong justifications that led them to self-destruct and death.
While Soo Ryun finally succeeded in killing her mortal enemies to avenge her daughter's death, she could not accept the lives she had sacrificed, to achieve this goal. She probably also felt guilty and unable to face her children being the perpetrator who ultimately killed Seok Hoon's father. And I guess this justified the bittersweet ending....
There were other things I could not digest because they made no sense in reality: 1. Cheon Seo Jin was the head of Cheong-A Group/Academics BUT SHE WAS also a parent of one of the students YET she was constantly participating in class exams or singing contests either as a judge/invigilator. The parents and residents of Hera Palace were always good at protesting at everything so why can't they just band together and stop her from conducting these activities? In reality a person that holds a significant position but has conflicting interest in that matter should remain impartial and delegate responsibilities but she was in the front and center of everything and that's why there were so many corruptions going on. 2. Joo Dan Tae and Cheon Seo Jin giving up money so easily towards the end just to appease Baek Joon Ki and Jin Bun Hong from harrassing them when based on their negative character development throughout the entire series, they could senselessly murder, threaten or torture those two. 3. I also found it amazing how Logan could withstand the pain of being scalded with hot boiling water without even flinching. It's not like he was heavily drugged or sedated either. And in almost the next episode that followed after, he could walk without limping!! And not to forget, it was a miracle indeed how he survived a bomb which exploded right next to him but only ended up with minimal burnt wounds and scars??
Lyricist - Jay Denton

Singer - Aaron Michael Kellim
Hope this helps.
1. Kim Soo Hyun
2. Jung Hae In
3. Chun Jung Myung
But he really is a perfect potato on its own and I hope he will have a long and lasting acting career :)
