Lovely Writer (2021) is a hidden gem! 🌟 The show brilliantly captures the pressures and challenges BL actors face in real life—especially dealing with toxic fandoms and the blurred lines between on-screen ships and real-life relationships. The chemistry between Nubsib and Gene is so heartwarming, and their dynamic is just perfect! 💚

Also, I came here after watching the leads in My Stand In and Until We Meet Again—their acting range is incredible! From cold and red-flag to cute and grumpy, the transformation is unreal. Both of them are amazing actors, and their relationship in this show is such a green flag! 🌿

I can't believe I missed this show when it first aired—definitely a must-watch for any BL fan! 💖

Chinese 🇨🇳 BL just hits differently.
Honestly, if the ban wasn’t in place, I can only imagine how huge the genre could be. China has the budget, talent, and production quality to make something truly next-level. Addicted and The Untamed already showed how much impact BL could have — millions of views and tons of buzz.

It often feels like we get one or the other — either amazing NC scenes with a weak plot, or a strong plot with underwhelming NC moments 😅

Yes, you should definitely watch Kiseki: Chapter 2 😊 It’s a prequel to this series and shows how the two main characters first met, which adds more context to their relationship.

That said, to be honest, both series are quite light on plot 😅 — let’s face it, most of us are here for the NC scenes 🔥 And I’m absolutely loving it! Episodes 3 and 5 of Kiseki Chapter 2 are especially intense 😳

As for the gagging sound, I actually thought it was pretty realistic tbh (speaking from experience 😬). If someone’s shoving it down your throat like that, that’s kinda what it sounds like lol.

One of my strengths is being very organized and having a strong memory. I can recall all my family and friends’ birthdays, the names of my school teachers, and even primary school classmates from over 20 years ago—so remembering character names and plotlines comes naturally to me.

I work in an office, which gives me the flexibility to stay on top of my watchlist. I use an Excel spreadsheet (synced to my phone) to track all 20 currently airing BL dramas I’m following—complete with dates and times—so I always know exactly when new episodes drop.

Aside from airing shows, I also watch completed dramas. For example, I just finished all 17 episodes of Until We Meet Again (2019). I never skip scenes or watch at double speed. I watch every second and only pause if I need a quick break. Right now, I have around 90 titles on my watchlist.

Honestly, when you’re really passionate about something, it’s easy to find ways to stay on top of it and make it enjoyable! 😊

Just like the title says, Hooking Up with My Brother-in-Law is definitely a bit messed up with its premise.

The first episode is only about 14 minutes long, so it’s pretty short. I actually liked the NC scene—it was handled better than I expected for something so low-budget.

Vietnam doesn’t produce many BL series, and this one clearly has a limited budget. It’s not amazing, but it’s not terrible either. I’d give it a 6 or 7 out of 10 so far. Still early days, so I’m waiting to see how the next episodes go before making up my mind.

When I label it as 5/14, it means that there are a total of 14 episodes in the series, and episode 5 is the next one I plan to watch. I have completed watching the first four episodes, and I have not watched episode 5 yet. The label does not indicate that I have watched five episodes—it simply shows that episode 5 is next in line.

My Sweet Brother-in-Law is a Vietnamese BL that isn’t listed on MDL. Unfortunately, BL content isn’t very popular in Vietnam, so it only airs on YouTube.

Trapped in Osaka is a Chinese BL, but due to the BL ban in China, it was filmed in Japan instead. It’s great to see creators finding ways to tell these stories despite the restrictions.

Currently watching 20 BL dramas airing right now, and this one has quickly become my favorite! It strikes the perfect balance between fighting and cuteness — the emotional tension, the sweet moments, and the couple dynamics are all so well done. I absolutely love both couples — their chemistry feels so natural and refreshing. 💙

Also, the boxing scenes really stood out to me! Those punches and kicks looked incredibly realistic — you can tell the action was well choreographed and taken seriously. It’s so rare to find a BL that blends romance and physical intensity this well.
