Exactly, I know a lot of people don't like miscommunication trope because it's predictable (at least that's what…
Yes, exactly! 🙌 I completely agree with everything you said. Miscommunication might get a bad rep for being “predictable,” but in reality, it’s one of the most common reasons real relationships fall apart. It’s messy, human, and incredibly relatable. 💔

And I love what you pointed out about TamPhi — they were always so open with each other in the past, even when they disagreed. That’s why I also believe there’s more to their breakup than just miscommunication. Something heavier must’ve happened alongside it. Miscommunication alone doesn’t just slip in between two people who were once that emotionally honest. 🥺

Also, if you enjoy the “exes to lovers” trope with emotional complexity, I highly recommend Business as Usual — a 2025 Korean BL that explores that dynamic beautifully.

There’s something so beautiful about these little flashbacks — glimpses into a love that once bloomed so naturally. 🌸 Their past chemistry feels effortless, like they were always meant to be. It makes my heart ache wondering what pulled them apart. 💔

Even now, it’s clear the feelings haven’t faded. Tawan still buys Phi’s pork sticks (my favorite — I’m counting down the days until I can finally try them in Thailand this December 🇹🇭), and Phi still holds on to their anniversary shirt like a silent promise. If love were truly gone, they wouldn’t remember — not like this. Not with such tenderness. 🌙

I’ve watched countless stories of ex-lovers finding their way back, and I swear, if they broke up because of a simple miscommunication or some tragic misunderstanding, it’ll break me. Misunderstood love is the saddest kind — all that longing, lost in silence. 🥺

This show had me hooked from the first bite 😏Joss (Mark) and Fluke (Tong) were insanely hot together—the chemistry, the tension, the NC scenes? Off the charts 💋🔥 Every kiss was fire, and their bodies? Tall, handsome, and built to ruin me 😮‍💨

The English OST was a vibe 🎶 and that high-tech campus? Sexy backdrop for a sexy story.

Only complaint: the ending felt a bit rushed, some fights were meh, and I NEEDED Tong to turn vampire so they could go full beast mode in bed 🩸🛏️ Manifesting a steamy special episode .

If you want fangs, feels, and fire? This one delivers 💯

I wasn't expecting much from this series, despite seeing the trailer, but after watching my stand-in, I highly…
I completely agree with you. I also came here immediately after watching My Stand-In, and I absolutely adore Up. Both series are excellent, and I’m truly amazed by how different his performances are in each one—he’s such a talented actor. In My Stand-In, his character was cold, aggressive, and controlling, whereas in Lovely Writer, he was endearing with his glasses and charmingly grumpy demeanor. I’m very much looking forward to seeing his upcoming role in Love in Silom.

Is it just me or do we really need an extra episode between Ep 2 and Ep 3? 🤔

How did Sun and Nu go from a one-night stand in Ep 2 to being in love by Ep 3? 🫠 They barely had any proper screen time together to build up their chemistry. Most BLs I’ve seen take at least 6–7 episodes before the leads even become a couple!

This series is so chaotic and the plot is all over the place… but I can’t stop watching

I do not believe the scene was filmed in Los Angeles.Transporting an entire production team, along with the two…
Ah, I see what you meant now—thanks for clarifying! You’re right, heavy snow in LA is definitely unrealistic, even for a fictional setting. I was just addressing the assumption that the scene was actually shot in LA, which didn’t seem likely given the logistics. But I agree, if they were trying to portray a snowy U.S. city, choosing a more plausible location like somewhere in the Midwest or Northeast would’ve made more sense.

A whole production team and no one could be bothered to google the weather in LA 🤣
I do not believe the scene was filmed in Los Angeles.

Transporting an entire production team, along with the two lead actors, to the United States would be extremely expensive—particularly for a scene that lasts only about five minutes. Additionally, the journey from Thailand to the U.S. takes approximately 17 hours, making the logistics even more impractical. It is far more likely that the scene was filmed at a remote house in Thailand. The use of winter clothing appears to be a deliberate choice to create the illusion of a winter setting in America, while the actual location remained in Thailand.

Why is North washing clothes in the bathtub? There are no washing machines in Thailand?
It’s not that there’s no washing machine — it’s that love doesn’t always choose the easiest path. 💔

North missed Johan so deeply that on his birthday, he clung to Johan’s actual red shirt while sleeping — not just for comfort, but because it still held Johan’s scent. In that quiet moment, it felt as if Johan was right there with him, wrapped around him. 🥺❤️

So when North chooses to hand-wash Johan’s clothes, it’s not out of necessity, but out of love. Washing by hand wasn’t a chore — it was a tender, meaningful gesture. A way to care for someone even in their absence. 🫧✨

This isn’t about convenience. Sometimes, hand-washing a loved one’s clothes is a quiet expression of affection, longing, and deep emotional connection. 🫧💞

After watching Episode 6, one thing’s clear: Jun is not innocent. At all. 😈

First, the couch scene — he could’ve sat anywhere, yet he deliberately chose to sit right in front of Sorn, between his legs. The tension? Palpable. That wasn’t just casual — that was silent seduction. 🛋️👀

Second, the infamous banana car scene 🍌🚗 —
These were his actual lines:

Jun:
“Want my banana?”
“It’s a big one though.” 😏
“Perfect in my hand.”
“Big, juicy bite.” 👅

Then, without missing a beat, he peels the banana slowly… locks eyes with Sorn… and takes a long, deliberate bite. 🔥

Sorn:
“Can’t you eat like a normal person?” 😵‍💫

Let’s be honest — Jun knows exactly what he’s doing.
He’s not innocent — he’s dangerously seductive, and he’s loving every second of it. 💋

Okay, I have a migraine, but I still want to write something about this series, the characters, the last episode…
Beautifully explained… but let’s not overlook that unforgettable car scene. 🍌🚗

I kid you not, these are Jun’s exact lines — smooth and dripping with innuendo:

Jun:
“Want my banana?” 🍌
“It’s a big one though.” 😈
“Perfect in my hand.” ✋
“Big, juicy bite.” 👅

Then, without breaking eye contact, he peels it slow… and takes a deep, deliberate bite — right in front of Sorn. 😮‍💨

Sorn:
“Can’t you eat like a normal person?” 😵‍💫

Let’s be honest — Jun is deliciously dangerous. Innocent? Not even close. 🔥

The whole premise of having to come up with the money for his sister's operation seems far fetched for Taiwan.…
I agree with your point.
If this situation had occurred in Australia, our healthcare system (Medicare) would cover the entire cost, even without private insurance. All residents contribute 2% of their income tax to Medicare, regardless of employment status or insurance coverage. No matter how expensive the surgery is, it would be fully covered.

I suppose they included the sister’s surgery in the plot for dramatic effect, but it’s not particularly convincing.

rewatching this after a long time and my god Nubsib is so handsome 😭😭😭
After watching Kao in Until We Meet Again, I couldn’t help but fall for him—he’s so handsome and charming! Now I’m watching Lovely Writer (up to episode 6), and I totally agree with everyone saying how good-looking he is. Really hope he gets more main lead roles in the future!

I usually love rural BLs that are set in the countryside—away from city life, modern tech, and the fast-paced lifestyle. The greenery, the slower pace, the quiet charm… it’s exactly my kind of vibe. So I was really hoping this series would deliver.

But Episode 2 was such a disappointment.

The acting, editing, and music all fall flat. I literally burst out laughing during the scene where Phaad slapped the three guys—his hand didn’t even touch their faces. It looked so fake, and the poor editing made it even worse.

And then came the line from Phaka: “I think… it doesn’t have to go that far.” This was right after she was nearly assaulted by three men. That moment should have been intense or emotional, but it was handled so carelessly. It felt completely off and honestly, pretty messed up.

Also, the kissing flashback at the start of Episode 2 felt so unnecessary. They repeated it at least 4–5 times, and I honestly don’t understand why. It added nothing new to the story—it just made the pacing feel even slower.

I’m only still watching because I’m already halfway through… and, well, I don’t have much else going on on Mondays.

Interestingly kisskh has this series funning from May 16th to June 20. But all six episodes have been released…
Just to clarify for anyone who might be confused—on Kisskh, each full episode is split into three parts. So:
• Kisskh Episodes 1 to 3 = Official Episode 1
• Kisskh Episodes 4 to 6 = Official Episode 2

This means MDL is accurate in listing only 2 episodes released so far. The series is following a schedule of one full episode per week.

This is the first time I’ve seen a rating below 5 on here, which caught my attention. Personally, I found the first episode to be somewhere in the middle—not great, but not bad either. The NC scene was well done and definitely a highlight, but the plot felt a bit confusing and hard to follow at times. Still, it’s only the beginning, and I’m looking forward to seeing how the story develops. I’ll continue to support the Taiwan Twins and hope the series finds its rhythm in the coming episodes!

Thank you, but I’m still a bit confused.

Why are they together when they live in separate apartments? At the end of Episode 5, Jun was eating alone. Assuming the café employee brought him back afterward, but why did they go to Sorn’s place? There was no communication shown between the two from Episode 5 to Episode 6—he just suddenly appears at Sorn’s place. Maybe it’s one of their weekly hookup dates, who knows!

At the end of Episode 5, Jun was dining alone at the restaurant. How did he end up with Sorn at the beginning of Episode 6? Did I miss something?
