It's like it was written by an 18-year old with no experience of actual trauma or bullying. It's infuriating.…
Yeah, I agree, Warm definitely seems like a red flag, but so far he hasn’t actually done anything wrong. He just wants love and attention from his boyfriend, Ice, but it feels like he’s not getting it. I keep wondering why Ice even dated him in the first place. The preview for tonight’s episode looks really interesting. I can’t wait to see how Warm will react when he catches Saint in the closet. I’m 100% sure Ice and Warm are going to break up now that Ice has cleared up the misunderstanding with Saint.
That's exactly what I thought too when I saw that grave scene. But...why did Pheem's aunt then tell him (over…
That was the last time Aunty helped him because she could already see Pheem changing into someone else. The phone call took place after she helped him save Than.

This show hasn’t even aired yet and you’ve already rated it 4/10? Please explain how you came up with that score.
Think about the months of hard work the actors, staff and crew put in, their blood, sweat, tears and countless hours to bring this series to life, yet you rate it a 4 without even watching it.
It’s negativity like this that discourages production companies and makes them cancel projects or lose motivation to create future shows.
I totally get why chet is mad that he was not informed of his own mother's death. Them acting like he's the crazy…
I agree, but even if they had told him earlier, would it really have made a difference? She was already dead, and knowing sooner wouldn’t have changed anything. After she passed, the bodyguard informed Chet, and he still made it in time for the funeral. I’d understand being upset if he had missed it completely, but since he was there, I don’t think making a scene would have helped. It wouldn’t change what had already happened. Honestly, I’m glad his mum died. She murdered Than’s mother by running her over and even tried to kill Than when he was just a little boy by pushing him down the stairs. She was lucky she ended up getting treated in the hospital instead of facing punishment in prison.
Sounds like the typical comment of someone used to being spoonfed drama fastfood. Of course something happened.…
You’re welcome. It started off with “Sounds like the typical comment of someone used to being spoonfed drama fastfood,” and then ended with “You weren’t paying attention.”
That combination already got my blood boiling, and I just had to respond.
The first time Pheem shot Than, it wasn’t near his vital organs as the doctor described. He was terrified that Than was about to expose the evidence. All his years of hard work, all his plans for revenge, would be destroyed in an instant. But more than fear, there was anger. His mother had been murdered, and he had grown up in another country, consumed by pain and vengeance. In that moment, revenge was all Pheem could see, and he pulled the trigger out of pure rage.
Now, about the second shooting at the grave, here’s my theory. Pheem had no real choice. Risa orchestrated everything behind the scenes. She told their father that Than was a threat, that he couldn’t be trusted. So even if Pheem didn’t kill him, his father surely would. I don’t believe Pheem actually shot Than that night. The scene was cut, leaving so much open to interpretation. I think Pheem missed on purpose. Working in a hospital, he likely injected Than with something to fake his death. When the bodyguard came to check, it looked like Than was gone, but behind the scenes, Than contacted Aunty Nittaya, who secretly took him away to be treated in private.
You can tell they loved each other so much. If Pheem truly wanted Than to die, why did he shield him and take the bullet for him in the last episode? He sacrificed his life to protect the man he loved. That moment alone shows that beneath all the anger and revenge, love was still the strongest force between them.
I know many people believe their relationship can never be repaired after this, and I understand why. But we need to remember Pheem was never meant to be a green flag character. He has always been driven by revenge, haunted by loss. When he stood at his mother’s grave, he admitted that he finally avenged her, yet he felt nothing but sadness and emptiness. Because the one person he truly wanted beside him was Than.
If Pheem had been perfect, this story would lose its depth and thrill. It’s his darkness, his brokenness, and the pain between him and Than that make this story so gripping and heartbreaking to watch. Hence why this show is so addictive.
All five boys walking hand in hand down the street was pure adorable chaos! They even admitted it was embarrassing, but still did it anyway while laughing their hearts out, my serotonin levels went up instantly.
And Hioki cuddling Watarai overnight because he was cold? That scene melted me completely. They’re just so soft and sweet together! Watarai finally confessed his feelings, and now we have to wait another 7 years 😭
Never did I think a simple school trip plot could be this good. This show is fun, light, and ridiculously cute to watch. We’re almost halfway through, and honestly… I don’t ever want it to end. I could easily watch 100 episodes of them and never get bored!
Sounds like the typical comment of someone used to being spoonfed drama fastfood. Of course something happened.…
You really can’t tell Zamperx they “weren’t paying attention” just because they said nothing happened. That’s not how opinions work. Saying “nothing happened” doesn’t mean they missed the story, it means nothing meaningful or emotionally impactful happened for them.
Everything you mentioned like the crossing over, the parallel universe, the magical object, and the Sisyphus myth is already laid out in the synopsis. We all know that. The issue isn’t that viewers didn’t notice it, it’s that the delivery lacked spark. The pacing is slow, the dialogue is flat, and the storytelling doesn’t give those ideas any real weight or emotion.
You can pack in a thousand symbolic references, but if the script and direction fail to make the audience feel anything, then it’s just hollow symbolism. That’s exactly why many viewers, including Zamperx, felt that episode three was boring and added nothing new.
Not every quiet scene is “deep” just because it’s vague. Sometimes it’s simply dull. So yes, things technically happened, but when the writing and pacing make it feel empty, it still ends up being nothing.
You aren't paying attention if you think he's a random stranger. There's a lot that's very obvious about this…
Yes, I get that he already knows who he is, that’s not the point I’m making. I’m clearly referring to the surface-level setup of that first meeting scene. Even if Chen Shi knew deep down who YangYou was, the dialogue and delivery still play out like two strangers meeting for the first time. That’s literally how it’s written and presented on screen.
And sure, later the symbolism like the Sisyphus reference and the clock scene makes everything clearer. But not everyone’s going to jump straight to that conclusion during episode one. That’s part of storytelling, letting viewers question, interpret, and figure it out piece by piece.
Saying “it’s so obvious” kind of kills the fun of discussion. If everything was meant to be instantly obvious, the writers wouldn’t bother layering clues or metaphors. Some of us actually enjoy unpacking it at our own pace without being called “slow.”
Now this show has ended, it’s obvious that you’re the only one here who actually enjoyed it. Your cup of tea, but definitely not mine.
I feel sorry for Ping. He searched for love in Phana’s eyes but found none, so he went home believing home would be his safe place. Yet even there, he was unwanted. His mother, the woman who gave him life, called him a monster. Her hand struck him, and with that slap, the last piece of his heart shattered. It was never his fault. He did not choose to be half human, half merman. He did not choose to be different. With no mother’s love and a father long gone, he was left adrift in a world that refused to claim him. I wish I could reach into that sorrow, just to give him a hug he never received.
But every story has two sides. His mother was lied to. She fell in love and bore a child, only to discover too late that the man she loved was not human. Her world collapsed, and she was left alone to raise a son who reminded her of betrayal. Perhaps her anger was born from pain, not cruelty. Yet even so, blood should never turn away from blood. No matter what he is made of, scales or skin, he is still her child. When she found his diary and read his words, her tears fell like rain, each drop heavy with regret. Only then did she understand that all her son ever wanted was her love, a simple dinner together, a smile, a moment of warmth.
If only they had spoken their pain instead of burying it in silence, their story might have ended differently.
But time is cruel. One day she will lie in her bed, old and frail, and the memory of her son’s eyes will haunt her. She will whisper apologies to the empty air, wishing she had loved him when she still could.
You aren't paying attention if you think he's a random stranger. There's a lot that's very obvious about this…
I’m literally talking about the scene where YangYou made up that whole story about his dad forcing him to do jobs he didn’t want, so he ran away, lost his phone, and then asked Chen Shi to take him in. Chen Shi replied, “I don’t even know who you are.”
That’s their first on-screen meeting. Obviously, we all know there’s more going on and deeper meaning later, but I was referring to that specific moment. And sorry, but if someone came up with that story in real life, nobody’s just letting them in. The excuse could’ve been smarter, that’s the point.
Also, your “you’re not paying attention” comment? Bit much. This isn’t a school exam, not everyone watches to dissect every second like they’re writing a thesis. Some catch the clues straight away, others take time, and that’s totally fine.
Just because you think something’s obvious doesn’t mean everyone’s slow or wrong. People interpret stories differently, that’s literally what makes discussions interesting.
If everything was “spelt out in bold,” there’d be nothing to talk about in the first place.
Your review is perfect! just watched the first three episodes with my friends and we are still talking about it.…
Thank you for your kind words. You’re so lucky you get to watch it with your friend and talk about everything together. I always end up watching alone and sometimes it makes me wish I had a BL buddy to share all the moments with.
My all-time favourite genre is police and detective themed BL, especially those involving forensics or FBI style investigations. So far, only two have truly delivered in that area for me: The Sign and this one, Goddess Bless You from Death.
And yesterday I was commenting that this series deserves more than 7.8. Less than 24 hours after episode 2 was released, it increased to 8.1, and hopefully it keeps rising because this show truly deserves it. The attention to detail and the amount of police work and suspense are just so good.
Interminable: Episode 1: A Promise That Never DiedRecapKaewta and his mother are drowning in debt when Saen appears…
Thank you for this. I feel like with Billy and Babe, The Sign started off with a big bang in episode 1, but this one feels slower. However, after reading your recap, I realised a lot actually happened in the first episode, there’s so much more to consider now. It might be a different genre, but as always, Billy and Babe shine on screen, and I can’t wait for the next episode.
I absolutely love height differences in BL! Gun being 168 cm, the shortest artist in GMMTV, paired with Drew at 190 cm, the tallest artist, is already giving me butterflies. This love triangle with Off is going to be so much fun to watch! I’m so happy it’s airing on Wednesday nights because my Fridays and Saturdays are already packed with BLs. I seriously can’t wait for this one, it’s going to be amazing!
Please explain how you came up with that score.
