After nine long episodes, the wait finally is over with a kiss that felt both tender and electric.
When Xu Yuan softly whispered, “Let me do it, you’re injured,” it was a moment filled with quiet devotion. But Zhan Wang, despite the pain, could no longer deny his heart, pulling his lover close as every longing they had held back finally found its voice.
The morning after was just as beautiful. Wrapped in each other’s embrace, their gentle cuddles spoke of comfort, safety, and a love that needed no words.
The second couple was equally wonderful. With him no longer working at the school and both of them now adults, their love could finally stand in the light. Sharing a fearless kiss in front of the school felt like a quiet declaration that love deserves to be seen, a beautiful reminder that the bravest hearts are the ones that choose love without fear.
Finished ep 1 and question, why is the chung yang yr old so eager to like assist and help the qing lang? Like…
His celebrity crush is Qing Lang. He has watched every Qing Lang movie and show, which is why he is so happy, devoted, and willing to do anything for him.
For me, my Korean celebrity crush is Cha Eun-woo and my Chinese celebrity crush is Zhang Linghe. If either of them ever got tired of acting, wanted a break from the spotlight, and somehow ended up visiting me, I would happily take care of them exactly the way Chang Yang does. I would cook for them, make sure they were well fed, do their laundry, give them relaxing massages, and make sure they could completely unwind and forget about the pressures of fame for a while.😂❤️
When we watch a series, it is never just about the kisses. It is about the meaning hidden between the words, the feelings left unspoken, and the emotions woven into every conversation.
In Episode 3, after QingLang kissed ChangYang, he asked, "Do you like men?" ChangYang did not answer yes or no. He simply replied, "Is it important?"
Then in Episode 4, QingLang asked again, "Do you like men?" This time, ChangYang answered, "Is your name Men?" before leaning in for another kiss.
There is so much meaning in those few words.
If QingLang's name were "Men," then the answer would be yes. ChangYang was not saying he likes men in general. He was saying that the only person he likes is QingLang.
That is the beauty of poetic writing. Sometimes a single sentence can carry the weight of an entire love confession. A few simple words can touch your heart far more deeply than any grand declaration.
This series is written so beautifully, and moments like these are exactly why I love it. I am so glad it is a full-length 16-episode series, giving every emotion and every unspoken feeling the time it deserves.
They’re only Year 11 students, so this isn’t about the intensity of an adult romance. It’s about the quiet innocence and uncertainty of first love.
The seven second countdown was such a beautiful touch. Maybe that’s all love needs sometimes. Seven heartbeats, seven seconds, one fleeting moment where the world falls silent and two hearts find the courage to meet. Sometimes, forever begins in the briefest of moments.
i came here to see some opinions, i love taiwan bls, but lately they’re a bit meh, i liked wishing upon the…
Me too, this series is okay. I'm currently watching 22 airing BLs, and 19 of them air between Friday and Saturday. Only this one and When Orange Falls air tonight for me. I really wish the schedules were spread out more. I always end up cramming all my ongoing BLs into the weekend, and it takes up all my weekend
To avoid censorship and to protect their actors, BL was banned in China, so the workaround is to produce and distribute…
On the official platform, GagaOOLala lists it as a Thai production. MDL uses the synopsis and country information from GagaOOLala, which is why both are exactly the same.
As for why GagaOOLala lists it as Thailand even though it was filmed in China and stars Chinese actors, I’ve already explained that.
So far 10/10 but One small issue I had was with the second couple. Unless I missed something, they both seem to be actors, and I found their storyline a little confusing compared to the main romance. So far, I have not connected with them as much as Qinglang and Xu Changyang. Honestly, I would not mind if the series focused more on the main couple because their chemistry, relationship development, and interactions are easily the strongest part of the show. The second couple may grow on me later, but right now I find myself much more invested in Qinglang and Xu Changyang.
Wow, I was not expecting that at the end of Episode 3. Tanrak fell for Barth, but Barth was the one who confessed and kissed him first. What a beautiful kiss.
They have improved so much since High School Musical. It doesn't feel like a GMMTV series at all. My only complaint is that there are only 6 episodes, and we are already halfway through. I am not into God or religion, but this series is amazing so far. Fourth and Gemini are absolutely nailing it.
"To have a relationsship with the a man whos uncle killed his mom, seems a bit too ridicilous for me especially when his first move was to "steal" his scent and burned his village. For me, this whole story did not make much sense"
I understand why those points bother you, but I think some of the context gets overlooked.
First, the village burning down was an accident. Scent and Gaysorn were trapped and trying to escape. They had no idea their actions would cause a fire that spread to the village. They had already fallen in love before they even discovered what happened. When Scent returned and saw the damage, he offered to pay for the repairs because he felt responsible. It was a mistake, not a deliberate act of cruelty. If we judge people solely by their worst mistakes, then nobody would deserve love because everyone makes mistakes.
Second, regarding Scent stealing Gaysorn's scent, I think people are judging his actions without putting themselves in his position. His father is dying, and extracting Gaysorn's fragrance may be the only way to save him. Yes, he came to the village with an agenda. Yes, he kept Gaysorn close because he needed something from him. But he also genuinely helped Gaysorn search for his mother, so the relationship was never completely one sided.
What makes Scent interesting is that he is flawed. He is desperate, manipulative, and willing to make morally questionable choices for someone he loves. That does not make him a good person, but it makes him a believable and compelling character. You can already see him developing real feelings for Gaysorn, which is exactly why the inevitable fallout will hurt so much when the truth comes out.
If Scent had been completely honest from the beginning and said, "I need to extract your fragrance to save my father," do people really think Gaysorn would have gone with him to Bangkok? Probably not. The story works because Scent's actions create conflict. If he were a perfect green flag from episode one, there would be very little tension or emotional stakes.
People often love morally grey characters in other genres because they are complicated. Understanding a character's motivations does not mean you approve of everything they do. It simply means the writing is doing its job.
Third, regarding the relationship with the nephew of the man who killed Gaysorn's mother, Scent and Gaysorn fell in love before they even knew about that connection. More importantly, Scent did not commit the murder. His uncle did. Both Scent and Gaysorn were only around four years old when the murder happened and had absolutely nothing to do with it.
I don't think it's fair to say two people cannot be together because of a crime committed by an older relative. Scent is not responsible for his uncle's actions. In fact, he loved Gaysorn enough to turn his own uncle over to the police. That alone shows where his loyalty and morals ultimately lie.
By that logic, anyone whose relative committed a crime would be forever judged for something they never did themselves. Love is between two people, not between their family histories. Holding Scent accountable for his uncle's crime makes no more sense than blaming a child for the actions of their parents or relatives
Their kiss appeared only as shadows dancing over the ocean's waves, and somehow that made it even more beautiful. The water caught the moment and carried it across the shore. I had never seen a shadow kiss in a BL before, and they executed it perfectly.
It was a slow burn for four episodes, but it was definitely worth the wait.
The kissing scene at the end of episode 3 was so hot. If you watch closely, you can even see the saliva dripping. I'm so glad it was a real kiss and not a fake one. The chemistry was intense, thrilling, and completely captivating.
I can't wait for the moment when Jay finds out that Sun was the pink teddy bear who saved him. One thing I'm curious about, though. During their encounter a few years ago, it makes sense that Jay couldn't recognize Sun because he was wearing the pink teddy bear costume. But why couldn't Sun recognize Jay? His face was completely visible, and Sun could clearly see through the costume since he was able to fight off all those thugs in the alley.
Any novel readers here that can answer my question?

40 episodes across both season, I think this is the longest BL I ever watched. Definitely worth it though

The Uncut Ver has the correct number of epsiodes for the Fast Track on WeTv
