NLE Season 2 is already giving me everything I wanted. Miyata and Iwanaga living together like a married couple, cuddling, cooking, kissing and taking care of each other is honestly my dream relationship. Episode 1 was so warm, romantic and mature, but now the ex is back. I cannot wait to see how this tests their relationship. One of my favourite Japanese BLs of 2026 already!

“To me, Serizawa, you’re like the sun. Whenever I see you smile, it just brightens my day.”No wonder Suzuki is a BL writer. This man knows exactly how to write feelings, yet somehow has zero street smarts when it comes to his own love life 😂Serizawa protected him from bullies, let him hang out with his friends, cuddled him at lunch, invited him to sleep over and cuddled him all night.Even a blind person could see Serizawa likes him.Everyone except Suzuki. 😂And honestly, I get it because I’m the same.I’m a financial planner. I can look at my clients’ finances and immediately tell them where they’re overspending, what to cut and how to budget.But my own budget?Suddenly I’m like, “Well… technically, I can afford it.” 😂We’re so logical with everyone else’s lives, but when it’s our own heart or money, suddenly the logic disappears.Suzuki, mate. Serizawa likes you. PLEASE. 😂❤️

Honestly, this is the best ongoing Japanese BL for me at the moment, and I am currently watching nine.Takoi is similar to me as we are both in our 30s, so I could really understand his actions in this episode. If I were in his position, I honestly think I would have done the same thing. He was confused, he made mistakes, and he apologised. I was also glad that he finally confessed his feelings at the end.It was such an emotional and well done episode. This is why Japanese BLs hit differently for me. Their emotional storytelling is so good because it feels realistic, mature and relatable. The characters and their emotions feel human, and that makes their stories even more impactful.

I like this series more than I expected. Finally, a series that lets us fans see things from OUR perspective! 😂 Being a fan is one thing, but imagine actually getting the chance to work alongside your favourite celebrity?! I’m already loving this concept!I really missed James after Bed Friend, so I’m glad to see him back. But honestly, what really got me hooked was Auau as Third. He is SO hot and attractive, and his aura is absolutely stunning. Then we have Save playing Wan, who is funny and so adorable.Domundi never disappoints, and I really enjoyed Episode 1. We have an interesting plot, hot actors, and one of my favourite tropes, enemies to lovers. I already have a feeling this one is going to nail it for me.Imagine working alongside your celebrity crush Nine, only to end up falling for the person you hated at the beginning instead. What a plot! I’m already invested and cannot wait for the next episode.

Finally, Jet is useful in this episode 😭He finally admitted his mistakes, spoke to Jane, and then got Jane and Big Jane to actually talk to each other and try to rebuild their relationship.Even though Jet was one of the reasons all of this happened in the first place, I really appreciate that he was able to admit his mistakes and take responsibility. At least he’s finally trying to make things right and bring them back together. 🥹❤️

Wow, Episode 3 was so intense! One moment they were about to make out, and the next, a bunch of men with guns suddenly stormed into the house with intense music playing in the background. The transition was insane!This scene definitely lived up to the title Kiss or Kill. They were literally about to kiss, but if they had actually done it, they probably would have been killed! The timing was perfect and had me on the edge of my seat.It’s so rare to see this level of action in a BL, especially with shooting and action scenes this epic. I honestly did not expect the episode to go in this direction, and I was completely hooked.

And of course, we have the transfer student Yihyun coming in to shake everything up! My heart honestly hurts for him because he had to transfer schools simply because he is gay and was bullied for it. Sadly, he gets bullied again on his very first day, but I was so happy to see EunHo stand up for him. What I loved even more was that when Yihyun told him he was gay, EunHo never mocked him or treated him differently. He simply accepted him and showed him what a true friend should be like. This is what friends are for, supporting each other when you need it most.And because of this, we are getting a love triangle, and I am ALWAYS here for a little jealousy and romantic tension! Especially when one character has been secretly holding feelings for someone for 19 YEARS, while the other has fallen for someone after just a few days because that person was the first one to stand up for him and make him feel accepted. One love has lasted nearly two decades, while the other has only just begun, and I honestly cannot wait to see how this unfolds! It adds just the right amount of drama and emotional tension without taking away from the sweetness of the story.

As soon as I found out that Summertime is from Oak Company, the same production company behind The Prosecutor's Proposal, Thundercloud Rainstorm and Ball Boy Tactics, I was already excited. I knew we could be in for another outstanding BL with high production quality, great chemistry, strong acting, solid storytelling and some steamy scenes. After watching the trailer and Episode 1, I can confidently say it has already lived up to the hype.And DAMN, that opening scene was HOT! I was absolutely NOT expecting them to start the series like that. What a way to kick things off! They really said, here is your NC scene, right from the beginning!

When Suzuki’s ex friends from freshman year started bullying him and saying nasty things, they told him that Serizawa’s group of friends were not serious about him and were just messing with him. They also mocked him for liking BL.Then Serizawa came out and said, “Hey, what’s wrong with that? I love BL too. What’s so weird about it? You guys are pathetic. Just because you don’t understand it, don’t trash what other people care about!”That was honestly so satisfying to watch. Go, Serizawa! You scared those bullies away. 😂Then Suzuki explained that he started watching BL back in high school and became completely hooked. This is literally all of us. I still remember when I started watching BL with Addicted back in 2016. I was so hooked that I read the novel five times. Now, almost 10 years later and after watching more than 500 BL series, I’m still completely hooked. 😂But this episode also taught such an important and sad lesson. Don’t mock people for the things they love, because your words can seriously damage someone’s self esteem. Suzuki was mocked for liking BL during his freshman year, so he eventually learned to keep that part of himself hidden. He wouldn’t even sing at karaoke because he felt like he couldn’t truly be himself around others.Then he met Serizawa’s group of friends, and everything changed. They listened to him talk about BL, never mocked him, and even encouraged him to keep watching and writing if that was what he enjoyed. That is what true friends should be like. They make you feel safe enough to be yourself instead of making you feel ashamed of who you are.My favourite part was seeing Suzuki slowly regain his confidence and finally sing in front of them. It was such a small moment, but it meant so much. After being made to feel ashamed of himself for so long, he finally felt comfortable enough to be himself again.This episode really made me emotional because bullying can leave scars that people cannot see. Sometimes, something that seems like a harmless joke to one person can stay with someone for years and completely change how they see themselves.I love this series so much. It isn’t just giving us a beautiful love story, but also so many meaningful life lessons throughout the episodes. 💔

At the beginning of Episode 5, I thought I was going to get something sweet and beautiful.Imagine the person you have quietly loved for so long finally asks you on a date. To the aquarium. You have never been to one before, so you become determined to make it special. You spend countless hours studying everything you can about sea life. You learn the ages of the turtles, the strange little garden eels, the jellyfish that are 95% water and have no brains or emotions, and the penguins whose complicated relationships somehow involve cheating and affairs. You learn all of it, not because you suddenly love marine biology, but because you want to impress the person you love. You even buy a matching pair of pens, something small and ordinary, but precious because it belongs to both of you. And for a moment, it feels like maybe this is finally becoming something real.When Takoi holds Shiono's hand, they both feel the weight of that moment. But love is never experienced in the same way by everyone watching. In a society where same sex relationships can still be judged, even something as innocent as holding someone's hand can become something frightening. Even at the police station, Takoi denies that the matching pen came from Shiono. He says someone else gave it to him. Shiono hears him. The words are quiet, almost unbearable to hear, but what comes next hurts even more.At the bar, his friends tease Takoi about going to the aquarium on a date with another man. Cornered by their questions and the pressure surrounding him, Takoi says that he only asked Shiono out because he looked lonely. He says he would never date a man. He says he is not a creep. Perhaps he was frightened. Perhaps he was embarrassed. Perhaps he had never been in this situation before and simply did not know how to face the eyes of society. Perhaps he did not mean any of it. But sometimes, words do not need to be meant to destroy something. They only need to be heard by the person who loves you.Shiono hears everything. Takoi does not realise that he is standing outside, listening. He does not realise that every word is breaking the heart of the person who had spent so much time learning about the ocean just to have something to talk about with him. So Shiono quietly walks away, alone, into the cold and darkness, drinking by himself while carrying a heartbreak that Takoi does not even know he has caused.Takoi apologises, and perhaps he truly was under pressure. Perhaps he was scared. Perhaps he had never experienced feelings like this before. Perhaps he was simply trying to protect himself from a world that still tells people who they are allowed to love. But apologies cannot always undo what has already been heard. Shiono tells him that he does not care what people think of him, but that does not mean the words did not hurt. Because it was not society that said those things to him. It was Takoi. The person he loved.And then Shiono says something that makes everything even more heartbreaking. The timing is perfect. He is transferring. Maybe this is what love sometimes is. We spend so much time worrying about what people will think, what society will say, what we are supposed to be, and what we are supposed to feel. And while we are looking everywhere else, we fail to see the person standing right in front of us. Until they are gone. And only then do we realise how much space they occupied in our hearts.Maybe gender never mattered. Maybe society never mattered. Maybe all the fear, all the expectations and all the judgement were never as important as we believed. Because when the person you love walks away, the only thing left is your heart asking the question you should have answered long ago. Why did I let the world become more important than you?

Their communication and the way they talked things through was absolutely spot on.Natsuki told Sota that what he said when he confessed his feelings was true. Meanwhile, Sota explained that when he apologised back then, it wasn’t because he was rejecting Natsuki. He simply didn’t know what to say and was completely shocked in that moment.What I love most about this drama is how realistic it feels. Instead of Sota suddenly accepting Natsuki’s love, he was honest and admitted that he likes Natsuki too, but he isn’t sure what kind of love it is. Is it brotherly love? Friendship? Or something more?That is why he wants to spend more time with Natsuki and get to know him better before defining those feelings. And honestly, I think that makes their relationship even more beautiful. Love doesn’t always come with an immediate answer, and sometimes you need time to understand what your heart is really feeling.This felt so powerful, genuine and different from the usual romance storyline. I’m really glad they chose to portray their feelings this way.Now I absolutely cannot wait for their first date. I have a feeling it’s going to be everything.

Jet is such a spoiled brat, and honestly, I am so heartbroken and angry watching everything unfold.Years ago, he was gambling on sports, took out a loan from a shark, and left Little Jane to suffer and help clean up his mess. Now, years later, he has gotten himself into another huge mess. This time, it was not because he gambled again. He broke his agency rules and is now liable to pay 10 million baht, around $300k USD. His family has to sell their home and shop just to deal with the consequences of his actions. What hurts the most is that he does not even seem sorry. No remorse, no guilt, nothing. How many times does his family have to suffer because of his choices? At this point, maybe being jailed is the only way he will finally learn his lesson instead of continuing to destroy the lives of the people around him.And my heart hurts even more for Big Jane and Little Jane. After five painfully long years apart, they finally found their way back to each other. We finally got to see them happy, reunited, and enjoying their precious time together on the yacht. For a moment, it felt like they could finally have the love and happiness they deserved.But then Jet had to ruin everything.Big Jane did absolutely nothing wrong. He has been doing everything he can to help the family, and he has already sacrificed so much for the people he loves. I completely understand why Little Jane feels guilty about Big Jane helping him. He loves Big Jane deeply, and I think part of him wants to prove that he is worthy of that love. He does not want to keep relying on Big Jane or feel like a burden to the person he loves most.That is what makes this so heartbreaking. Neither Big Jane nor Little Jane is at fault. They are just two people who finally found their way back to each other after five years and were trying to build their happiness again.The real problem is Jet.One person’s selfish choices have once again shattered the happiness of everyone around him. And after everything Big Jane and Little Jane have been through, they deserved so much better than this. 💔

Wow, after everything Naoya’s father put him through, belittling him, insulting him and even insulting his mother, I was so emotional watching what happened next.When his father finally apologised, Naoya was so selfless. He put all his anger aside and said he would help him avoid bankruptcy if he went to his mother’s grave and apologised.What a great son and such a selfless person. It takes so much strength to let go of that anger and still choose to forgive. Honestly, I don’t think I could do the same if someone insulted my late mother. Naoya is stronger than I could ever be. 🥺❤️

Their unintentional date at the restaurant was so cute and adorable! 🥹I love how Jiakai used his special ability to save Dawei after he was left in the freezer. Without Jiakai, he might have died!They’re just so cute and adorable together. Rivals slowly turning into lovers, with that grey thread slowly turning red. ❤️

The hair washing, the forehead kisses, the soft cuddles, the sleepy good mornings, the kitchen hugs, grapes fed from one hand to another, white singlets and stolen kisses on the sofa.Every little moment feels like a love poem, so warm and intimate, like they have already built a little life together.And then they kissed for so long their sausages got burnt 🥵They are ridiculously hot, ridiculously cute, and so effortlessly married. I could watch hours of them and still never get enough.
