NLE I absolutely love BLs set outdoors in the mountains and surrounded by beautiful greenery. The scenery is so refreshing and peaceful to watch, especially in a zombie apocalypse series like this.Episode 5 was basically just our two main leads walking through the beautiful scenery together, with Aleh carrying Lin Zai on his back. Their little moments together were so cute and comforting.In a world completely falling apart around them, all they really have left is each other, and that makes their time together feel even more special.

What a great episode! Hitting each other one minute and then making out afterwards. These boys definitely know how to kiss. It was so passionate and natural that it genuinely felt like they were real boyfriends in real life.Not only was their NC scene hot, intense and thrilling, but the moment James could see Ken’s colour while they were intimate and Ken covered his eyes and continued completely got me. That was insanely hot and such a unique touch. I don’t think I’ve ever seen an NC scene quite like that before. Probably one of the best NC scenes I’ve seen.But what made the scene even better was that it wasn’t only about the physical intimacy. Their words to each other made it so much more emotional.James asked, “Then do you love me?”Ken replied, “Of course I do.”Then James told him that if he loved him, he couldn’t send him away again. He loved Ken too and didn’t want to leave him. Even knowing Ken is a Nour who never dies, James still wants to stay by his side for as long as he possibly can.That really got me. Underneath all the heat and passion, this scene was ultimately about James choosing Ken despite knowing exactly what he is and knowing that their time together can never truly be equal. He just wants whatever time they can have together. So beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time.The Nour is now sitting at 8.7 on MDL, making it the highest rated BL on MDL right now, tied with Payback. Definitely deserves this spot!We are officially halfway through now and I’m enjoying this series so much. I just wish we were getting 12 episodes instead of only 10 because I’m already not ready for it to end.

Probably my favourite episode yet. Their confession beside the lake was so beautiful and heartfelt, and then that kiss made the whole moment even more special. It wasn’t a dead fish kiss at all. They are high school students and this was probably their first kiss, so I thought it was perfect for them. It felt innocent, nervous, tender and completely genuine.“What kind of like? It’s the one where I want to hold your hand, to touch you, to hug you.”That confession completely melted my heart. There was something so pure about the way he described his feelings. He didn’t need some huge dramatic speech. He simply wanted to be close to the person he loved, to hold his hand, touch him and hug him. Then having their feelings finally come together with that beautiful kiss beside the lake made the entire scene unforgettable.They are seriously so sweet together. This episode gave me everything I wanted from them.

I’m currently watching 8 airing Japanese BLs, and unfortunately, this is the weakest one for me. I’d give it a 7/10. It’s not good, but it’s not bad either. It’s just okay.After 12 episodes, it feels like one of those series that I’ll probably forget about in a few months. Nothing terrible about it, but nothing memorable enough to really stand out either.

Miyata is seriously so handsome and stunning, but jealous Miyata is on another level of adorable. “Come and cuddle me. Tighter.” My heart could not handle how cute that moment was.This is exactly why I love this drama so much. We have two mature men in their 30s who actually communicate with each other. Instead of letting jealousy and misunderstandings drag on forever, they lie in bed, cuddle, talk about their feelings and reassure each other. It feels so natural, intimate and refreshing to watch.Professor Hibino may be smart and highly educated, but deliberately trying to break Miyata and Iwanaga apart is definitely not ethical. What I absolutely loved, though, was Miyata’s reaction.We have seen countless BLs where an ex says they want the main lead back, the boyfriend accidentally overhears it, walks away without hearing the full conversation, makes assumptions and then we suffer through episodes of unnecessary misunderstandings.But not Miyata. He walked straight in and confronted Professor Hibino himself. YES! Finally! No running away, no silent assumptions, no unnecessary drama. He faced the situation directly because this relationship matters to him.It is so refreshing watching a BL where the characters actually behave like mature adults. Miyata being jealous was adorable, but the way he handled that jealousy made me love him and this drama even more.

Serizawa and Suzuki’s date was SO CUTE! I absolutely loved how practising a date from a BL novel slowly turned into something real between them. At this point, how can anyone not fall for Serizawa? He is tall, handsome and attractive, but it is his personality that makes him even more lovable. He is always so caring and supportive of Suzuki, and the things he says to him are exactly what a shy and insecure person needs to hear. You can really see Suzuki slowly becoming more confident because Serizawa makes him feel comfortable and accepted for who he is.And that kissing scene beside the bridge was beautiful. It felt innocent, nervous and completely natural for them. They are high school students and this is probably their first kiss, so I am not expecting some perfectly polished professional kiss. The awkwardness and nervousness actually made it sweeter and more believable.I LOVE BL SO MUCH! I literally just finished the Chinese BL The Missing Piece, which was full of toxicity, red flags, obsession and absolute chaos, and then I came straight here to watch this wholesome green flag BL to cleanse and balance out all that toxicity.This is why I love BL. One minute I am screaming over toxic men destroying each other, and the next minute I am smiling over two adorable boys having the sweetest first date.We really do get the best of both worlds!

This series reminds me of the Chinese BL *Deep In*, where we also get to see the actors behind the scenes. I personally prefer *Deep In* because I feel like it blends the behind the scenes elements into the story more smoothly. Obviously, they’re from different countries and have their own style, but this one is still really good and definitely less toxic 😂Our main lead Wan is so cute and adorable. He is completely clueless, funny, and always asking stupid questions about acting 😂 Honestly, he represents all of us, especially anyone who is completely new to acting and has no idea what is going on.I also love the enemies to lovers trope between Wan and Third. Their interactions are already so entertaining, and I’m really enjoying watching their relationship slowly develop. Loving it so far!

Today is Father’s Day in Australia, so this episode touched me even more than it normally would. When Natsuki’s father found out that his son liked boys and that there was something between Natsuki and Sota, he immediately told him not to bring Sota over to tutor him anymore. To be fair, I can understand his initial reaction. Imagine trusting someone to tutor your son and then suddenly finding out that they have developed feelings for each other. Luckily, Natsuki and Sota are around a similar age, so I don’t really have an issue with it. If there were a large age gap and it was an actual teacher and student relationship, then I would feel very differently because the teacher should know better.But what touched me the most was Natsuki’s mother and sister. ❤️ They sat down and talked to him, and even before he officially came out, they basically told him that they already knew and understood. There was no judgement or rejection. They simply wanted him to know that they loved and supported him. That scene was so beautiful and emotional.I also understand his father a little more after seeing the whole episode. Same sex marriage is still not legally recognised in Japan, and this was completely new territory for him. What mattered to me was that his reaction did not end with rejection. He invited Sota to dinner and genuinely tried to understand their relationship.When he admitted that he was still getting used to everything, I actually found it really touching. He even Googled relationships between men because he was trying to understand his son better. 🥹 He might not understand everything immediately, but he is trying, and sometimes that first step means so much.I would honestly be happy to have a father like Natsuki’s. He may need time to understand something unfamiliar to him, but instead of turning his back on his son, he chose to learn, accept and love him.Maybe that is what made this episode hit me so hard today. A parent does not have to understand everything immediately. Sometimes love is simply choosing to keep trying to understand your child.Happy Father’s Day to all the dads in Australia today. 🇦🇺

That bathtub riding NC scene was insanely hot. The passionate kisses, erotic expressions and every sensual movement had me completely mesmerised. It was also so meaningful because Jane had lost his memory, but he finally regained it and remembered everything. The long wait definitely paid off. This was probably one of the hottest bathtub scenes I have ever seen.

What started as such a beautiful episode 5 slowly turned into something absolutely heartbreaking.Their cute little date on the beach, then going to the movies together, followed by even more kisses when they got home was everything. They were like two hungry souls finally allowed to have each other, kissing and devouring each other as if they could never get enough. So many kisses, cuddles and tender moments in one episode. It was sweet, intimate and incredibly romantic. ❤️But that happiness only belonged to the first half.The moment Hui Leuk Tou told Fei Foon that he was going to marry Chloe, it felt like watching Fei Foon’s heart shatter into pieces. We know the marriage is fake. Chloe and Hui Leuk Tou are both gay, and the marriage is purely for his company and to strengthen business connections. But this time, I am completely on Fei Foon’s side.Like Fei Foon said, did Hui Leuk Tou ever stop to think about his feelings? Before proposing to Chloe and making such a huge decision, he never even discussed it with the person who had given him his heart.Then Hui Leuk Tou said the words that hurt the most.He compared Fei Foon to the beautiful ashtray. Something beautiful that you treasure inside your home, but something you cannot bring outside and proudly show to the world. In his eyes, a woman is someone you can proudly show everyone, while a man is someone who must remain hidden at home.That moment broke me.Now I finally understand why this series is called "Ash". The ashtray was never just an object. It became a reflection of Fei Foon himself. Beautiful, precious and wanted, but hidden away from the world. 💔Then Fei Foon asked the simplest yet most painful question, "What am I to you?"He was not asking for something complicated. He just wanted to know whether what they shared actually meant they were in a relationship. After all the kisses, the cuddles, the memories and the love between them, Hui Leuk Tou still could not give him an answer.Sometimes silence hurts more than rejection.Fei Foon walking home alone while tears flooded down his face absolutely destroyed me. All those beautiful memories flashing through his mind made it even more painful. Only hours earlier, he was smiling, kissing the man he loved and celebrating his birthday. By the end of the night, he was walking home wondering whether he had ever truly had a place in that man’s life.This was not the birthday he wanted. Instead of receiving certainty and love, he was left with questions, tears and a broken heart.What an episode. It gave us happiness, sweetness, romance and passion, only to slowly take every bit of it away and leave us with heartbreak and pain.Sometimes the sweetest moments hurt the most when you realise they were never promised a tomorrow. 💔

Episode 2 focuses more on the survival side of the apocalypse, and I absolutely loved it. Lin Zai and his group of friends are simply trying to stay alive, so they head into an abandoned building to search for food and essential supplies, which is exactly the kind of realistic survival storyline I wanted from this series. Of course, things quickly go wrong when they are attacked by zombies, and the whole sequence becomes intense as the group desperately tries to survive. Just when things are looking bad, A Leh arrives at the perfect moment and saves them, giving us another epic action scene and proving once again how deadly he is against the infected. I really like that this series is taking the apocalypse seriously instead of using zombies as nothing more than a background for the romance. The characters actually need to search for supplies, protect each other and fight to stay alive. Only two episodes in and I am already completely invested in this group and excited to see how A Leh and Lin Zai’s relationship develops from here.

What an opening episode! As someone who loves both BL and zombie apocalypse stories, this gave me exactly what I have been waiting for. The abandoned post apocalyptic world, beautiful forest scenery and lack of technology immediately reminded me of The Last of Us. The zombies are fast, aggressive and genuinely scary, with brutal deaths and enough gore to make the danger feel real. A Leh also had such an epic introduction, fighting through zombies with his dual knives and immediately establishing himself as a mysterious and dangerous badass. I already love the dynamic between him and Lin Zai too. They are definitely not lovers yet, but the chemistry is already starting to show, especially when Lin Zai cleaned the dirt and blood from A Leh’s face and slowly revealed that gorgeous face underneath. Then we discover Lin Zai appears to be immune to the infection, adding another mystery to an already exciting story. Action, survival, zombies, gorgeous leads and the beginning of some very promising BL chemistry. I am completely hooked!

I genuinely did NOT expect to love this drama so much. Music and pianist dramas are usually not my thing, but after just two episodes I was completely hooked and ended up bingeing it in one sitting.The opening was EPIC, from the intense piano performance in Prague to the shocking kidnapping scene. The production quality is seriously impressive, and I was never bored for a second.Song Kang as Kang Bi O and Jun Young Lee as Choi Jeong Yo are the heart of this drama. One comes from wealth and enormous family pressure, while the other comes from poverty and a painful childhood. They are completely different, yet both are carrying so much trauma. Their rivalry slowly turning into genuine friendship and bromance is EVERYTHING. The chemistry, eye contact and the way they secretly care for each other had me screaming.What surprised me most is that this isn't just a drama about music. It deals with family pressure, poverty, bullying, ambition, trauma, friendship and growing up. Even though I know absolutely nothing about classical music, every time they played the piano my heart was racing.My only small criticism is that Song Kang and Jun Young Lee are playing 17 year old students despite being 32 and 29 in real life, so they definitely look much more mature than high schoolers But their acting and chemistry completely made me forget about it.10/10. One of my favourite K dramas this year already. If you love rivalry, bromance, emotional stories, childhood connections and beautiful high quality production, PLEASE give this one a chance.

No wonder James is described as a hot-blooded young police officer! Who gets punched by his lover after forcing an angry kiss on him and STILL continues kissing?And Ken getting turned on by the blood, licking it and still going back for that kiss? That was SO hot. 😳🔥 The whole scene was intense, thrilling and the chemistry between them was insane!Then they continued in the back seat, and that kiss just kept getting hotter.And then James used his special power. I think he realised that Ken is a Nour, and that’s why he suddenly stopped the kiss. What a scene!
