NLE Their fake sex scene at the start was so cringe, funny and stupid all at the same time. I seriously couldn’t stop laughing! 😂This show is so ridiculously funny and I’m absolutely loving it. It always manages to put a smile on my face after a stressful day at work, which is exactly what I need!

What a great double episode! I loved all the flashbacks because they helped us understand both characters so much better, especially their past and why they behave the way they do now. After seeing everything from Ming Xuan’s perspective, he honestly doesn’t feel like a red flag to me anymore. These episodes completely changed the way I see his character.

Wow, Hui Leuk To is so smart! From noticing the mark on the bin, to figuring out the restaurant order, then tracing it to the cinema and eventually tracking down the recording. He managed to connect every tiny detail!Fei Foon is also incredibly smart. He deliberately left all these small clues behind and went on a date with Siu Yan on purpose so Hui Leuk To could find him. The best part is that all these places are locations where Hui Leuk To and Fei Foon previously dated, so he knew Hui Leuk To would recognise the clues and follow them. We only have ONE episode left! I seriously don’t want this series to end. 😭

A Leh and Lin Zai cuddling together all night until morning after their intimate scene was so cute! Then we got their sweet morning kisses, strolling through a zombie apocalypse holding hands, and going to watch a theatre performance together. What a cute date during an apocalypse!Also, can we please appreciate the female zombie dancing in the theatre? Even though she had turned into a zombie, she still remembered her dance moves, and it was strangely beautiful and emotional to watch. Imagine dedicating your whole life to learning and perfecting those moves, and even after becoming a zombie, your body still remembers them. It really shows just how much dancing meant to her when she was alive.I also loved that we finally got a flashback showing He Yao and Changhuan’s childhood and more of their backstory as stepbrothers. Judging by where this is heading, it looks like we might have ourselves a second BL couple!

My only small criticism is the ending, but I’m going to ignore it because I really enjoyed the drama overall. 😂 Honestly, just don’t watch the last five minutes because I was NOT expecting THAT!

The shower scene was definitely hot, but the cutest moment was when they cuddled together on the couch and told each other, “I like you.” 🥹❤️ It was so sweet, soft, and adorable. Honestly, that little moment of them just holding each other completely melted my heart. 🥰

Their date was honestly so cute, from strolling around town together to relaxing at the sauna and then ending the day with that massive dinner feast. Meanwhile, I’m sitting here eating tuna and crackers for dinner and getting hungrier just watching them 🤣I still remember pressing play on Episode 1 two months ago back in July, and somehow we’re already heading into the finale next week. Where did the time go?This series has been so good that I genuinely don’t want it to end. I’m definitely not ready to say goodbye to these two yet. We NEED a Season 2, or at the very least, give us a special episode so I can emotionally prepare myself! 😭

Wow, I cannot believe it’s already been nine years since they separated!Their new hairstyles suit them so well. They really look like mature adults now, which makes the nine year time jump feel even more real.I’m pretty sure Choi Jeong Yo is faking his amnesia and pretending he lost his memory. Maybe he’s secretly trying to uncover the truth about who hired the hitman to kill him, so pretending not to remember anything would be the perfect way to investigate without raising suspicion.But seriously, nine years living alone in a foreign country is crazy. That is such a long time to stay away from everyone and everything you once knew.

Back then, Lin Zai was always the one looking for a chance to escape from A Leh, but the more time they spent together, the deeper and stronger their bond became. Episode 12 really showed just how far their relationship has come.When A Leh was badly hurt, this was the perfect opportunity for Lin Zai to finally escape. The old Lin Zai probably would have taken that chance without thinking twice, but instead, he stayed. He carried A Leh on his back and even sucked the poison from his neck to try to save him. If this isn’t love, then what is?And can we talk about that NC scene? I was NOT expecting them to go that far! It was so hot, intense and passionate, and you could really feel how much their relationship had changed. After everything they have been through together, all that built up tension finally exploded. I was completely caught off guard!We have just finished Episode 12, which means we are officially halfway through the series, and I already don’t want it to end! This series is seriously so good. I wish one day we could get a BL with the standard 40 episode length that we often see in Chinese dramas. Just imagine how much more character development, romance and storytelling we could get.It also makes me wonder about the potential of Chinese BL if censorship restrictions were different. With the quality of the acting, storytelling, cinematography and production we are already seeing, China could become an even bigger force in the BL industry.We are only halfway through and I’m already too attached to A Leh and Lin Zai. I’m not ready to say goodbye to them!And imagine having sex during a zombie apocalypse.No showers, no toothbrushes, probably covered in sweat and zombie blood, with zombies waiting outside. Romantic? No. Hygienic? Absolutely not. Intense and unforgettable? Somehow, yes.Episode 12 delivered exactly that. The chemistry was explosive, the tension was unbearable, and both actors completely owned the scene.Forget candlelit dinners. True romance is surviving the apocalypse, dodging zombies and still making questionable decisions together.

What Zhou Yan’s brother did was terrible. He deliberately set Zhou Yan and Shen Mo up, and while I definitely don’t agree with what he did, at least two important truths finally came out of it.First, we now know that Ming Xuan was the one who exposed Zhou Yan and Shen Mo’s relationship to their parents, which ultimately led to Shen Mo getting hurt. That was difficult to forgive, but seeing Ming Xuan stay by Shen Mo’s side, take care of him and help him recover showed how much he regretted his actions. For me, his redemption arc is slowly coming together, and I can accept that people can make terrible mistakes and genuinely try to make things right.Second, and probably the most heartbreaking part, was poor An’an catching her fiancé and her friend together with her own eyes. 💔 I can’t imagine how shattered she must have felt in that moment. So many of the men she trusted had lied to her, and now the man she was preparing to marry was another person who had been hiding the truth from her.As painful as it was, part of me is actually glad An’an discovered everything now. They are not married yet and they don’t have children together. It is better for her heart to break now and for her to walk away from Zhou Yan than to spend years married to someone who is gay, doesn’t truly love her romantically and was using their relationship to hide who he really loved.She deserves someone who chooses her completely, not someone who sees her as a convenient way to hide the truth. The pain she is feeling now will be devastating, but a broken heart can eventually heal. A lifetime built on a lie would have hurt so much more. 💔And despite the Chinese government’s restrictions on BL, I’m genuinely shocked by how bold this series has been!The actual actors Rao Zi Hao, who plays Shen Mo, and Hou Ming Xuan, who plays Ming Xuan, have been all over my Facebook lately with their livestreams, and I swear I have never seen so many kisses during a livestream before! 😂 Their chemistry and comfort with each other are seriously on another level.Then Episode 5 gave us that intimate NC bed scene, and I honestly never imagined I would see something that hot and wild in a Chinese BL. During the scene, Shen Mo asks in his mind, “Do you even like me a little?” and Ming Xuan replies in his mind, “If I didn’t like you, I wouldn’t be turned on.” 😂 From a guy’s perspective, that response felt so real and straightforward.You could hear the moaning, and the whole scene felt incredibly raw and realistic. The chemistry between Rao Zi Hao and Hou Ming Xuan feels so natural that you can really see how comfortable they are with each other both onscreen and offscreen.Of course, NC scenes alone are never enough to make a great BL. I’m also genuinely loving the plot, acting and characters, which makes everything even better. So far, this series is ticking all the boxes for me!

The moment Fei Foon shot Hui Leuk Tou in a non life threatening area, I knew he never intended to kill him. Fei Foon was putting on a show because he was still an undercover cop, but what happened afterwards completely broke me.When Fei Foon disguised himself and secretly went to see Hui Leuk Tou, all the emotions they had buried for over a year finally came pouring out. The moment they hugged and kissed after being separated for so long was incredibly touching. You could feel just how much they had missed each other. 😭What made it even more emotional was Hui Leuk Tou apologising for everything he had said before. He even called off the engagement. Even though we knew the engagement was fake from the beginning, his reason meant everything. He simply did not want to do anything that would make Fei Foon unhappy again.This time, Hui Leuk Tou finally chose his lover over his company. After losing Fei Foon for more than a year, he realised something that all his wealth could never give him. Money can buy power, status and a company, but it cannot buy the person who owns your heart.It took a year of loneliness and heartbreak for Hui Leuk Tou to realise that Fei Foon was worth more than everything he had spent his life protecting. This reunion was beautiful, painful and long overdue. 💔😭

Oops! Mysterious Sounds is definitely not your typical university BL! We have bickering rivals, fake dating, unrequited love, a dead celebrity crush, mysterious earphones that can hear the voices of the dead and a possible murder to solve. I enjoyed Episode 1 much more than I expected, and PK as Pod and Namna as Jinna already have great chemistry. Namna is seriously HOT, and that explosive kiss in the trailer has me waiting impatiently for their fake relationship to become very real! The acting is good, the music works well, there are no annoying cringe sound effects, and the supernatural mystery gives the usual university setting something fresh. A very promising start and I cannot wait for Episode 2! 8.5/10

Watching the airport scene in Episode 10 at midnight, by myself, knowing that I have a flight tomorrow was definitely NOT one of my smartest decisions. 🤣Now when I walk through the airport tomorrow, instead of thinking about my holiday, I’m probably going to be looking around suspiciously at everyone and imagining zombies appearing from every corner. Thanks, The Last Oath. Exactly the kind of images I needed in my head before getting on a plane.And now we have a new character, He Yao, our first official third wheel between A-Leh and Lin Zai. The apocalypse is apparently not enough drama, so we needed a little love triangle energy too.But seeing A-Leh getting jealous over Lin Zai during a literal zombie apocalypse is sending me. Sir, there are zombies trying to eat you, humanity is collapsing, survival should probably be your number one priority, and somehow you still have time to get jealous because another man is getting a little too close to Lin Zai. 😂I genuinely don’t know whether I should be laughing or worrying. The world may be ending, but apparently jealousy survives the apocalypse. 😂
