I've stopped at episode 13 until the rest of the episodes are done, but I kind of suspected that this YY was gonna be the one that finally broke all the rules for her and stopped believing everything the Heavenly Emperor said. Also, seriously, how many times can you expect a man to kill the woman he loves for the 'greater good' before he decides to burn the world down with her?

Random thought...in episode 29, are we supposed to think they were intimate in the car? Because every time TIKTOK shows me the clip, I think it comes across more and more like that. Which seems rather...surprising for a cdrama?

I also think that it was Zhang's way of helping JSC and XL work through their stuff. She couldn't legally tell XL what was wrong with JSC, but could nudge her into the right direction and dump her off on JSC while she was drunk....lol.

My only real complaint so far is that once the ML decided to give into his feelings...its like he does a complete personality switch....but I find that in a lot of cdramas and kdramas when the ML starts out as the cold stand-offish type.

I don't know if it will be a break up, but I think JSC needs to tell XL that Huo keeps telling him to leave her. I still have hope that Huo might turn out on the right side of things....but he needs to stop trying to interfere and control XL's life.....we still don't know how much he's 'helped' her throughout her life.

Now their back together, but I still think they need to have a very long discussion about him not shutting her out and trying to protect her from the truth. Both Huo and him suck this way. Their too focused on her being 'happy and safe' and not enough on her right to choose how and who makes her happy. Not only that, but JSC's behavior in 18-20 directly contradictions what he said to Huo in their first private chat, when he told Huo that XL was an adult with the right to make her own choices.

Episode 19: Gee... XL falls in the rain outside the hospital and ends up unconscious....should Huo take her in the ER for treatment, or put her in the car and drive away just to avoid she might try to see JSC again.....decisions...decisions...
