Everything about Huo's character can be summed up with what he said to YSS in 29, 'Whether XL wants to or not, I must...' ... like he really don't care about what she wants.
I wonder if the reason his sword wound has never healed, is because its his divine punishment for killing the phoenix. That he was never supposed to have killed her and the Heavenly Emperor was wrong or intentionally lying.
I don’t get it either after so many things had happened
Im choosing to believe that she simply got caught up in everything that happened and hasn't looked at the footage yet. I'm hoping that the intern, will realize how badly he screwed up and come forward on his own.
love the FL - one of my fav FLs ever. smart and always defends herself instead of being a damsel in distress.…
I like her a lot too. I was a bit weirded out by her at first, but she is strong, independent, and capable. She knows what she wants and fights for it. I also appreciate that once she realized Huo's feelings she put up clear boundaries and knew it meant distancing from him to help him move on. My only annoyance with her in later eps, is how quickly she believed Huo's lie that he moved on.
I'm all caught up, I feel like the demon queen may have been subconsciously created from YY himself, as a way to remember her until she found him again.
I really loved this show, but the ending ruined it for me. It felt like the moral of the story was that bad people who do bad things can be redeemed, and not about good people cutting toxic people out of their lives and finding a new way forward.
I'm on episode 6 and I like LY so I want to watch, but I've heard somethings about later episodes involving his characters treatment of his sister that makes me nervous about watching? Is it worth continuing?
You know...the fact that her parents were so caught up in their fighting that they didn't even notice she went missing when she was 16....says a lot about her upbringing. I mean she was trapped under the concrete of the building for over a day, not to mention recovery time.....and her parents never wondered where she went...
