Its more JXS ( A doctor mind) telling WSW about how he exhibited similar manic behaviors after his split from MT, while also pointing out that the medical records were dated around the same time as WS split from CC. It kind of felt like he was implying that WS got a Bipolar diagnosis because of what happened.....like thats not how that works....

While it would've been nice to get an actual conversation, its clear that they both agreed to just move forward. Which is about how it was handled in the book too. My hand canon is that the truth is unraveled throughout many small conversations throughout their life together.

Didn't they say they didn't edit out the skinship scenes? Because the last half of the series seems very....lacking considering they are in a relationship.
