We all need to take a step back and look at things from WSW's perspective. He didn't know his mom was sick, but he did know CC was spending time with WS. Most of us would assume the worst if we found our partner was suddenly spending time with their ex...... He even saw them kiss, and was standing in the rain when he watched them drive off together. WSW spent years in a toxic relationship with someone who messed with his mind, manipulated him, and cheated on him. He doesn't know how to communicate healthily. And CC is not blameless in this. He is keeping secrets from him, he is spending time with his ex, and he isn't communicating in a healthy manor either. Just as easily as CC blocked WZ from WSW's phone, he should've blocked WS from his own phone.... but he didn't. Because he is/was still fixated on the past and letting those insecurities dictate his behavior in his current relationship too.
coughs...clears throat....THERE ARE NO GREEN FLAGS IN THIS DRAMA! NOT ONE! NOT EVEN WANG ZHEN OR JSY(if they keep him book accurate)! THIS IS NOT A DRAMA FOR FLUFFLY GREEN FLAG BEHAVIOR! that is all...thanks.
Alert: Few questions for novel readers1. What kind of relationship do the Wang brothers have? Does Wang Zhen hate…
1) messed up. WS is super cunning and manipulative. Only WZ can control him, and he does that mostly by beating the snot out of him....like in the book the first time he shows up, he puts WS in the hospital for 3 days. 2)His diagnosis in the book is real. He hid them...until Wei discovered it...which is what WS wanted. 3)Yes. The records Wei took were from back when WS was with CC. 4) He is a paranoid schizophrenic who is extremely insecure about his once relationship with CC. He wants CC to only want him in his life.
LoL! People in the comment section need to read the book. WSW never liked WZ otherwise. He idolised him and nothing…
This isn't entirely true. While WSW was using him to make it look like he was having an affair.....he was attracted to him....(the uh....egg toy incident) and that is fine. Most people are attracted to people outside of their relationships so its not a big deal. The most important thing is that despite his attraction, he never intended to actually act on it, and only really hangs out with him to get a reaction out of CC.
Just a thought about the situation with Chi Cheng keeping SW's mother's illness a secret at her request. I see…
Ehh.....it doesn't matter if their relationship is platonic, romantic, restricted to work, or familial. Trust takes months even years to build, seconds to break, and a lifetime to to earn back once lost. These kind of storylines are my least favorite because they are inherently selfish for the burden they are placing on the secret keeper with little to no acknowledgement of the damage they may be potentially causing. It doesn't matter whether romantic or not, Once Wei finds out that his mother is dying and that CC is keeping it from him.....Most people would find it hard to forgive...... the only reason I think it doesn't break their relationship, is because 1) Wei himself is keeping a secret just as big. 2) Both Wei and CC don't fully truth the other yet due to their past trauma.
I know s1/2 were filmed together. But it really feels like s1 and s2 were filmed separately and by different showrunners. S2 had several unnecessary and redundant plots. Mudan became a Mary Sue and Jiang Chang Yang feels like he was reduced to a supporting role instead of a main character. I am really disappointed in the ending.
