I was the one who made the comment about how they are using slurs and if you didn't see what that commenter was saying about a women just because they hate her. As a women ,I felt very upset and uncomfortable due to it .
So I expressed what I felt and this was just a response to my concerns.

That was such a cute scene wasn't especially when she throwed the spices and said Gullitou Gullitou.

If reading opposing negative comments makes you feel upset. I must say you must stay far away from MDL . Its always going to be a mix of comments some against it , some positive and some negative.

It is definitely not that much high budget drama I think.

Animal CGI is something I see very few dramas doing excellently. I must agree though its not good.

I must say while I expected the comment section to not be fully positive I never thought that people will resort to derogatory , misogynistic , slutshaming comments just because they dislike an actress it definitely made me a little upset to see that why in this day and age would you make comment like this.

That can also be a possibility but honestly the flaw of Xianxia dramas are the amount of misunderstanding they stack up in a few episodes and then take so long to make them clear.

Its not comparable A Journey to Love is set in different settings , is a different genre and has adult mature characters from the beginning of the drama this one is about Youngster developing to mature adults drama .

If its your first time Xianxia drama you have to be a little patient with all the misunderstanding and other obvious xianxia tropes. But since you said you don't like tragedy and scheming I am not sure if you will like it why don't you try the first three or four episodes to see if you like it or not ?

I am sure that's definitely not what happened its probably unreliable narration trope.
