I think Rosy has currently gone to dub for her drama "The last immortal "I did see a video saying she is going to Beijing for dubbing Shen Yin if so I am really really glad she gets to use her own voice , because I am usually used to actors dubbing themselves in Korean and other dramas
I also wanted to share today how I came to watch Cdrama's. I started watching Cdrama's when I came across these three three period dramas Empresses in the palace (by the beautiful lovely acting queen Sun Li (Ji Guan Lin was her VA) , The Empress of China (another acting queen Fan Bing Bing not dubbed by other VA) and Ruyi's royal love in the palace (Zhou Xun this one is also not dubbed by another VA but herself. another fabulous acting queen her current drama imperfect victim is pretty good do check it out) . They just don't make such Cdrama's anymore today these drama's had fabulous well written characters with so much nuance and depth and the acting it was really spectacular .
I wish for such drama's to be made again . And if possible I hope for Rosy to be able to act in such dramas too its fine if she takes supporting roles because it can really help her grow her current acting through such big leaps if she is there in a veteran filled actors crew and project done by such fabulous experienced first class directors and crew.
Ultimately I just don't want Rosy or any of my favourite actors and actresses to be known in the entirety of their career as idol /traffic actor or even have tax evasion/other big scandals that they get cancelled and wiped out from the public . In the C-entertainment industry an actor being called traffic actor really isn't a nice compliment for an actor's acting skills if they are known as traffic actor since it is somewhat a way they say an actor is popular,good looks and has an idol identity .
Even if they are really good actors the type of dramas they are casted into and as long as they remain in the idol popularity era they are called traffic actors. I wish one day she can abandon that label , I really do not wish to see her doing idol dramas till her mid 30's or 40's as I have seen many of my fav actors still unable to transition from their idol drama era even at their 40's.
Thats not a good development or progression for an actor's career to remain in that zone or that type of dramas till their middle ages.
One of my favorite actress really loved her in Yesterday once more(movie) , word of Honor(Gu Xiang) and now Back from the brink( Yan Hui) looking forward to her future projects she is a wonderful actress.
Anyone ever imagines lovely Lusi in an action crime thriller role where she is a detective or Cop or interestingly a cunning antagonist . I think it would be an amazing role for her to be in something that's also not romance themed drama for once I want her to be in full action crime thriller genre drama .

I know I am kind of surprised that's its even getting adapted(with how strict censorship is in China) but maybe like other drama adaptations they might completely change the taboo/not appreciated by censorship elements in the drama so that they can get the license to air
Also the author of this novel is the same one who wrote the source novel of the Drama adaptation Romance of the twin flower (The novel name is The Dreamer in the Spring Boudoir which is average not one of her novels that I really enjoyed or something , she isn't my favorite author but I did read her works few years back)
Also do read with caution if patriarchy or the treatment of women during such times is infuriates or triggering then I wouldn't recommend reading these types of historical fiction

I am glad Rosy got to have a collaboration with Colgate, but I so wish to know what her next project could be, don't know why mdl removed so many dramas or even added so many unconfirmed dramas to her name but I only want to know which her next confirmed project is. If the rumor is true there might be some issues with filming pearl and Jade curtain currently ,so they might be messed up schedule wise currently and must be taking time before confirming her next project. I didn't expect to end up missing her this badly. I am just slightly worried since she has only one unaired drama currently and we are already more than halfway through the year.
Its sad we can only have her new dramas in 2024 , it's really a drought era on the other hand though I would prefer quality over quantity if doing less projects means greater scripts and better projects then that would be for the best . Still don't blame me for being greedy to want her newer dramas in my screens already. She is really lovely.
Also it is my dream to see her in republican china genre dramas and especially their costumes. I know they would look so good on her there isn't much pictures of Lusi in that style Qipao and other similar style dresses I badly want her in a Min Guo drama .
I am not familiar with Chinese sites thank you for letting me know , its just that I thought to check whether Lusi is still there is Zhu Lian Yu Mu cast and the first Chinese site that popped up was douban. (Why is douban filled with( irrational anti's who has no life) ,is it not like IMDB somewhere where movie and cast information are mentioned , is it a social media site ? )

I had watched her since Love like the galaxy and watched her previous shows to be honest I really liked her role in Untouchable lovers that grey character acting of hers was absolutely spectacular my most fav shows of her till now are Hidden love , LLTG , WRTW ,TROTAR ,TLB , Dating in the kitchen .
I also like that she uses her own voice Mostly even though The Long Ballad and Who rules the world had been dubbed by the Voice Actress (Lu Xi Ran for both shows she is her current VA) the rest of her works include her own voice. I do think she needs a coach for her voice acting skills because it could be more better than what it is currently(her voice acting needs to mature more it can only be done by doing her dubbing for shows and movies herself without doing her own dubbing it won't mature her VA skills ) . But I also know sometimes the producers and the team demands dubbing for cost and other scheduling issues too that part I can understand.
But the thing is once a work is dubbed by someone other than the original actor that work of theirs is not eligible for acting awards because doing your own dialogues(line delivery) is half the emotions and acting .
Because I really love her I can't help but wish for her to develop more and outdo herself in all departments whether its acting , wire works ,action scenes ,voice acting , singing etc.
PS:- I hope she can work with Iqiyi platform one day so many of my fav dramas are released on their platform compared to the other platforms , Iqiyi has much more original stories , more variety of dramas , better production, CGI and budget too I want at least one of her future works to be an Iqiyi drama.
