Tbh, that was my first thought. That Jiling and Lu Wuyi landed in that place and started anew. But GJM did write his plots with details, so 'coincidences should not occur'. The fact that the place was exactly as LWY told JL and that the rift should not cause memory lost went against my first thought. If anything, with his immense power and Ji Can deity's power, Jiling might have chosen for them to be the ordinary people.
Btw, I am not trying to argue with you, just sharing what I had in minds. So sorry if I may have offended you by continuing this 'theory'.

As sentences alone, the above comforting words look ordinary, nothing special. In Guo Jingming's hands, everything enhanced. Those words became powerful.
And GJM achieved that with: ▶️ Ju Jingyi's incredible portrayal of Lu Wuyi, the nine-tailed demon, initially created for sinister purpose, yet met her soul mate, the kind & great person who understood her wholly, and loved her as great as her love for him. JJY's portrayal placed her on the top ranking as most popular character, on Maoyan, Vlinkage, Hwangwan Big Data and Kuyun.
▶️ Tian Jiarui's fabulous depiction of Jiling, the always kind being, as the red fox, the powerful dragon deity who did more as the replacement, or as Jiling, the cheerful and positive man. He was the only character in the story that matched Lu Wuyi in love and passion, pure and honesty. Jiling had always been Lu Wuyi's fate and vice versa. Tian Jiarui might only had 2 long drama series as his project but he never failed his role and he truly nailed the many characters in VOS.
▶️ The complicated yet meticulously written love story. GJM dropping clues bits by bits for all plots including the romance might be confusing but everything would be answered in time and just like a big puzzle, viewers could see the picture after more than half the pieces were placed.
▶️ The chemistry. With the well written romance, the excellent acting performance by both JJY and TJR, it was no wonder that the chemistry was electrifying in this drama. It would be a waste not to have both actors in a drama again.
▶️ The ending. It is so satisfying (for GJM's drama) and beautifully executed because even powerful and endearing, those words would lose its meaning if the couple end up separated.

GJM loved to drop the clues one by one and even half the scene so only by paying attention we can fully follow the storyline. I said before that VOS is the drama I love and love more with each rewatching. There was always a cute scene (mostly Jiling & Lu Wuyi for me) that I find more endearing with my rewatch. The angst still made me cry no matter how many times I rewatched the episodes. But I still watched, only because of the ending. An SE will make me curse GJM instead 🤭

That someone is most likely pretending to be TJR's fan like the troll jelly here. No TJR's fans would hate on Ju Jingyi, the actress whose chemistry with Tian Jiarui could burn the house. It takes a great actor to potray a role flawlessly, but it needs a great chemistry between the leads to make the romance convincing. TJR and JJY made their pairing the perfect Jiling & Lu Wuyi.

Jiuying's original true form was the black-red cloudy shape with things that looked like eyes. He was introduced in the beginning of episode 7. He was the lord of all demons. His form in the world was supposed to be the nine-headed great serpent but after he was defeated by the 9 sons of the Dragon Deity, he never managed to be like that again. Jiling obviously recognised her when he saw her. The star stone only said that if he took too long in the rift, he might end up somewhere unknown, not about memory lost. And that village and their ourfit was the place Lu Wuyi told him about. Considering how powerful Jiling already had been in the rift, he should have chosen where to go, out of the rift.

I only saw the Kugou one. I suppose they could only release the songs registered officially for the drama. Some BGMs might not be registered fully under VOS or they belonged to other production. IMHO.

Because Jiling was in the rift when the time being reset in the present time, so what happened to the others did not affect him. Jiling recognised Wuyi at the first sight in the village. Since he was powerful (as the flower hunter & had all the great demons power + Ji Can), he was supposed to be able to choose which time and place he wanted to be with his beloved. And he chose the life she had always wanted. IMHO
