I suppose she dared going to his courtyard after watching what LJX men were doing. She is smart and knows that LSY is hiding something, related to LJX and that nothing is found at his place. She did not know what she would do to deal with the matter but just like her character used to be, she would anticipate and adapt with the situation. LYN can be reckless when protecting those she loves. That must scare LSY so much.
Zhang Wanyi and Renmin are portraying Shenyuan and Yining so well this drama is so interesting to watch. And the fight scenes are always so satisfying, even with little screen time.
The words I will protect you mean more than just words with MC. They protect each other with their life in their own capacity. LSY with his amazing brain, martial expertise and 'secret agents' while LYN, even feared the scary LJX (even I got scared of him 😭), went on with challenging him for LSY sake and even took the beatings for him, with her weak body. ML and FL complete and compliment each other.
Now I am left feeling incomplete with just 1 episode. I need more Shenyuan+Yining story.
Finally, the ending is here. I feel like I finally wrap up the end of year financial report 😖 I am glad that the main couple, the only reason for me to continue watching (with some breaks) since the story is all over the place, have an ending the way I like it. This drama could actually have done better. It lacks of good directing and storyline. Martial arts scenes are also badly presented. I wish the best for my newfound love, Alen Fang and would like to see him in a way better executed drama where he becomes an ML with main screen time.

Similarities cannot be avoided in dramas, and this is not the first time it occurs. FL in this drama and supporting character in TD may have similar plotline but also different. FL in this drama is a rebellious kid and comes back to her home from the family estate much stronger than before while Jiang Li was a quiet kid, sent to a convent and died without being able to clear her name.
Both dramas were filming at the same period in 2023, so this drama' script was not written to have a bit of similar plot to TD.
Liu Xueyi is the most handsome in this drama for me. And that finale trailer does not only shows his stunning look but also stellar acting skills. ML always treats her like before, a sister, even after knowing that they are not blood related (ep 8) FL (who knows nothing yet) is still kind and worried about him, as her third brother. No flirting or anything romantic between them for their relationship to be incestual.
