The emperor should be the one who spread the lies, since he was said to be the one who had Prince Qi killed. Ms Yan should have realised that emperor had something to do with the killing, since they took Prince Qi away from the palace, endured house arrest. And the emperor is the one who benefited the most from Prince Qi's death, since Qi was favoured by the late emperor.

Writer could just make her say 'Wei Zhao, that is my teacher!' and he would understand what she meant and know the consequences if he harms her (although he was only planning to keep her safe, back behind Yueluo gate).
Tonight episodes make me depressed. Wei Zhao in pain. Jiang Ci in pain. The only happy scene is when Jiang Ci rejected Pei Yan.
