It would be easily understood with more episodes.
I can say that ML and FL were right on their own ways, per each other POV.
It is a HE in the novel but there will be separation and be together moments.

2 main sects in this drama (in most wuxia too) are the Demon/demonic sect (heretic, dark cultivation, not real demons as in Xianxia) VS the Righteous sects.

The Li (Demon) Sect was originally led by the Mu Clan, with Mu Qingyan as its young master and Mu Zhengming (played by Li Yunrui) as his father . The Nie Clan is ruling currently after 'wiping out' the Mu, with Mumu's treacheous mother at his side.

The Righteous Sects are:
▶️ Qingque sect, led by Qi Yunke, the sect Zhaozhao is learning now.
▶️ Luoying Valley, the Cai clan, led by Cai Pingchun (Zhaozhao's dad)

▶️ Snowy Mountain, with Qian Xueshen as its sole survivor. He is taking care of the little dragon.
▶️ Xuankong Nunnery, with Abbes Jing Yuan (Zhaozhao's great aunt) as its leader.
▶️ Chang Fort, no longer exist. Its chief, Lord Chang Haosheng, helped anyone in need and became a shelter to the wounded Mu Qingyan.

Mu Qingyan loved Cai Zhao only, but he schemed and involved her in his plans, which was not all wrong, according to his pov. He planned to have a future where all sects could live together, for all the bad guys to pay for their sins, and be with her forever.
I am waiting for ep 31 today.

Yes they had a son who looked like Qingyan in the extra chapters. If the drama is generous enough, we might have those cute extras included.

I do not watch preview so I cannot say much but I read the ending of the novel.

His love and obsession never stops. It is Mu Qingyan we are talking about and she is his whole life.

He was too heartbroken knowing that he could not do anything else to stop her from leaving since all his cards were out.
He thought that she abandoned him and forbade everyone from mentioning her name.
He did not stop loving her tho.

Episode 36 is 😢, not sure what it is exactly.
Ep 37 is marriage

I only watch Kdrama that aired on Netflix and only when I have nothing to watch 😅

Youku is the worst for me since beside its airing schedule, it also has 3 payment systems. The membership, the early access and the express while Tencent has membership and express, paid at the beginning.
iQIYI is surely the best in airing and subtitle amongst the 3 but for PoJ, WeTV is the co-airing platform, so the 1 ep a day exists.

It is common for WeTV to have 1 and 2 episodes a day.
I doubt it has anything to do with ROI since this drama has A+ budget, so staying on the top 10 on Yunhe/Kuyun should be okay.
Even PoJ has so many 1 episode per day, despite its amazing reservation figures and good number of sponsors

80% is what I call the percentage randomly picked, just to create a wow effect, but not necessarily correct.
The complaints mostly are about the SML has more screentime than he should, compared to who carried the drama, ML or FL.
In the drama, ML was never weak. He was poisoned and recovering. His fainting were not all due to the poison but also per his schemes.
He even bet on his life just to habe her choose him. At their first meet, he faked being weak when he fell on her embrace so he could achieve both, her and his plan.

There are days with only 1 episode tho, unfortunately.

Readers know and viewers guess because we see the facts from both sides, but not the characters. MQY knows soon because he is not clouded by sentiments while for CZ, the culprit is the respected person.
She has to witness the reality herself.

Not sure why they do that but it has been that way for as long as I can recall.

We still have 7 episodes left, not 5 and the misunderstanding will still occur between the leads, until she finds out the truth about the black masked man.

This is an old style wuxia drama that relied on swords or whips and hand in hand combats instead of cgi enhanced martial moves.

He is the most handsome in this drama 💕
