She’s a toxic person and he’s a weak simp so yeah, they’re meant for each other. I almost lost my mind 🤯 when the FL in a recent K-drama told the ML, “I tried to forget you by being with many men, but I couldn’t always think why it's not you ,” and then he cried because she suffered knowing he was single for 8 years waiting for her never forget her and always supporting her from behind and happy for her , while she was trying to forget him by being with other men .and they say both love each other the same and she act like she suffered lol
And the worst part? Before coming back to him, she was already in a relationship and if that man hadn’t cheated on her, she wouldn’t have thought about the ML at all

Most of these writers have a toxic feminist mindset, and many viewers like MLs who are simps with no self-respect, like this shitty ML who stopped his life for a toxic woman, becomes an alcoholic, can’t be with another woman, and still accepts her and helps her deal with her ex-husband.

Like you said, she contradicts herself in the same sentence many times , she blames him for something, and then blames him again if he actually does it. She wants him to be her dog: just follow her without saying anything, do whatever she wants, be there when she wants, and kiss her when she wants , so she can forget her bad marriage and whatever happened to her.

And I bet she won’t apologize for many things if she ever apologizes at all. Instead, they just show her past far from him , that makes it look like she suffered more than him,oh boy if she did it for him she will be a saint and he will end up blaming himself and apologizing. This happens because they write MLs without personality, dignity, or backbonejust a simp who can’t be with anyone except his toxic ex and who tolerates everything from her. lol that’s in all C-dramas mostly . The FL always decides what she wants to do, and she loves the ML less than she loved her ex. This is common sense in C-dramas. And in some shows like Hidden Love, Princess and Lighter, and Forever and Ever, the FLs loved more and did more, and road home and that’s it for the drama I know fls do more effort than mls and loved mls more in some aspects .

That’s one of the reasons, personally, why I stopped watching C-dramas, unfortunately. The MLs have no dignity or backbone—just waiting for years. Even if she breaks up with him, he still takes the first step toward her and forgives her like she didn’t do anything. You can even feel that she doesn’t care if she never gets back with the ML( without him doing everything to get back they never be together again) ,
but the ML, for years, never even thinks about being with another woman or forgetting her. Meanwhile, FLs most of the time date, or at least have a couple of love interests ( that later make ml act like a teenager and get jealous and make himself a joke because of it ) , and live their lives like they never knew the ML or broke his heart , and master how to hide their feelings and play hard to get , and act like the hero who don't want his grace to be known , so when ml know the reason for her decision will love her more ( even if he can't because from start he love her unconditionally lol ) .

And like we talked about before, the SFL is still simping and saying that getting rejected is “good news.” And the worst part for me in all K-dramas and C-dramas is that the FL will keep acting like he never confessed, and she’ll just friendzone him while the ML still gets jealous of their “friendship.” And FLs are always either clueless about it or they think it’s funny.

I really dislike this cliché where everyone pretends it’s still a platonic friendship, and the SML acts like he moved on instantly like he pressed a button, press on = he falls for her, press off = he stops liking her romantically.
And I agree with you about the other cliché: he never thought about liking her romantically when she was with her toxic ex or her other exes. But the moment the ML shows up, the SML suddenly decides he wants her. They always use this to create a stupid love triangle and some “comedy” or dramatic scenes between two men fighting over the FL who just got left by some loser toxic ex.

It would actually be good , and much better, if she moves on from the useless SML. It would be even better if she stays single or maybe ends up liking someone else , instead of going with the cliché route where the SML suddenly gets together with the SFL.

Especially after he liked the FL for twenty years, confessed his feelings, and rejected the SFL many times because of that. If they end up together now, it would only be because she has no dignity or personality and is just following her hormones.

There are still many clichés they can use to waste even more time. Maybe one or two episodes of her feeling the same thing he felt, liking someone in relationship . Then we get the SML’s confession to her / the ML and FL finally getting together for one episode, and then of course they have to break up because she gets exposed or something.

After that, a time skip so she can become successful far away from him, “by herself,” and then they get back together in the last minute or so.

So yeah, there are plenty of tropes left to recycle , without even forgetting the SML and SFL development , and the company problems 😅. A full package of time-wasting clichés, lol.

I agree with you, and I’m not contradicting myself, by the way 😅. When I said they made him look like a scumbag who sexually harassed his employee, I meant from the viewers’ perspective. After everything he did, the way it was framed made him look like a scumbag and a weirdo who forced himself on her.

But like I said, I agree with you. After all the frustration and confusion he was going through liking a woman he thought was married , once he found out she was single, it’s understandable that he wanted to be with her quickly and felt happy about it. And after all the things she did that suggested she liked him too, him kissing her is understandable. Her reaction is also understandable.

Now, for a couple of episodes, we’ll see her feel what he felt when he thought she was married and still liked her. This time, though, it will be less sad, because she doesn’t like him the way he liked her, and she’s still clueless about her own feelings. She needs to see him with the SFL, get jealous, and then start questioning her feelings toward him.

So we’ll get one episode of them being together, then she gets exposed, they have to break up, and they’ll probably get back together at the end of the drama , maybe after a time skip also , so she can be successful in her career, he can quit his job and do what he likes, and they meet again with a smile in the final scene 😂😅.

So yeah, another waste of time rom-com where the leads are only in a relationship for a couple of episodes or even less 🙃😂😂😂😂.
