Heard of this title while watch (1) The King's Avatar, and (2) Falling Into Your Smile, so if two c-drama scriptwriters (maybe it's the same scriptwriter?) think it notable enough to mention within their script, then maybe there is something to it. ^^
it's called eternal faith *puppy eyes* YES eternal faith hua cheng had for xie lian this is so gay how are they…
I'm wondering whether the sexual censorship is really that strict in China. Was recently watching 'Falling Into Your Smile' in which there was a male make up artist who seemed gay as. (Or possibly I'm prejuding a character who is merely very effeminate). This was just in his interaction with the FL, there was no sexual intimacy shown. So is the censorship basically limited to actual displays of intimacy, not in the simple depiction of a person being gay?
This would make more sense since China seems to have a history of identifying that gay people do exist. That is to say, that 'cut sleeve' term.
Not even half way through and my desire for the death of Qingtan grows stronger with every minute she's on screen. It's getting to the point where it might be the main reason I keep watching.
I wouldn't be sad if Huanhuan went with the same way as well.
For the premiere date, it was first called April. April came, the series did not come. Then it was the month of…
Why set yourself up for disappointment?
Assume it'll be released in 2023, then come back on the 1st of every month just to see if the info box with the release date has been updated. Then, when it is, you'll be pleasantly surprised.
Guys HELP!!!Can you PLEASE recommend me some fantasy/historical dramas which have similar story/plot to the second…
The following suggestions are primarily based on a sassy FL/cold ML outline you give, not so much the plot/story (ie memory loss).
'The Moon Brightens for You.'
I hesitate to suggest 'The Rise of Phoenixes' not because it isn't a brilliant series (it is), but the ending really sucked in the opinion of a good many viewers. (Definitely not happy).
'Under the Power'. They pad out the plot for the extended number of episodes with the 2nd couple's story and that dragging out really starts to grate with the length of it all, but that said, that rooftop kiss scene set to Charlie Zhou Shen's song 'Wish' is pure magic.
'The Romance of Hua Rong', perhaps.
'The Legends'. Good fantasy, eye candy male stars, the plot is draggy a bit in the latter episodes, but the characters are memorable.
'Story of Yanxi Palace', maybe?
'An Oriental Odyssey', 'Princess Silver' and 'Legend of Fu Yao' might also fit the sassy/cold description at a distance ... well not that much I suppose, but still good fantasy/wuxia series' with strong FLs. In 'Princess Silver' Leo Luo's supporting role is excellent. Just IMHO. But then, I don't want to overhype his role and have you be disappointed.
Technically, on WeTV at least, there is a final 37th 'episode' that is only 6 m inutes in length. Basically it's an edit of a few scenes of them experiencing a happy ending via experiencing a life together through the prism of their shared memories.
I'm guessing they got a few compaints in China about the couple not having a happy ending together so WeTV likely cut that 37th episode together and tacked it onto the end to fix that issue.
When I first saw a poster for it in which the FL is holding the ML's lapel, leaning back, wearing a red dress,…
Has nothing to do with her acting skills.
Has everything to do with enabling a positive view of anorexia not only in the viewing audience but also within the people themselves in this and related image-based industries.
So I guess you're saying that, in the series, she didn't have the anorexic vibe she gave me in that poster.
Essentially, it was a very nice intermission contemporary esports/idol drama, while waiting for Falling Into Your…
When I first saw a poster for it in which the FL is holding the ML's lapel, leaning back, wearing a red dress, I looked at her skinny arms and neck and thought 'holy crap, she looks anorexic' and was immediately turned off. That said, posters can be, what's the term ... 'airbrushed' I think.
Her anorexic look didn't affect your viewing at all?

Why am I watching this, ARGH!!
I wouldn't be sad if Huanhuan went with the same way as well.
AND WHAT PHOTOS!!!!!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.
...ahem. Please excuse my freakout.
PS - I'm sold on the 2 leads. Makeovers went well.
PPS - Just confirming ... this means they're shooting already!? ... (draws breath) AAAAAA

Absolutely agree that Leo Luo's character in this series was brilliant. :)

In my memory his hair was weirder than it turned out to be upon reviewing it again just now...
