I think it's also more because of her actions rather than dialogue. Of which I'm a fan of. (Of using visual actions in TV series rather than heavily relying on dialogue to tell viewers whats going on.) Having series' characters always telling me the plot and the character's feelings gets boring. Much prefer they act it out using their visual medium to it's fullest.

Meineke mentioned 'The Wolf', which is on my to watch list, looks really good.

It's hard to know what to suggest without knowing what elements of this story you like and what you've already watched, but in general if you like this one I'd suggest you try:

I dunno. I get kind of sick of most male leads having the same voice. Hearing a male lead with a different voice is more interesting. I mean, it's a country of a few billion in population, surely they've got more vocal talent than 'the big 4'.

WeTV seems to be region blocked on this one, because it doesn't bring the show up for me when I search for it (Australia).

I'm really enjoying this one. Even with the occasional noticeable over-dubbed voice and skipped scene. Zhao Liying and Wang Yibo interact great together. I wouldn'tve even thought Yibo didn't come from an acting background (I'm assuming his background is a boyband one) if this had been my first time seeing him. Kind of have this feeling that I've seen Oscar Sun before but have no idea where. None of his previous credits ring a bell to me.

I don't think I'll mind if the ending is a sad one, as long as they end it well.

I send a suggestion in to this site's support email address. I'd really like a function that keeps track of music pieces, not simply because my memory is too poor to keep track of my own favorites, but because I'd also like to get tips on pieces that I might've missed from other MDL watchers.

I've been thinking about the one particular thing I think this site is missing. They've got those fantastic features like the watchlist, the calendar, that little box to note which sites/channels are currently showing various series. All these great things make this a great website.

However ... what we don't have is some sort of function to keep note of great theme songs or tracks from those series. I don't know if it should be like a ongoing poll rating people's favorites (it would need to allow multiple voting, because I've got more than one) or something else, but we need to keep note of noteworthy efforts.

This being an anime, I don't know if it would be included on this site in such a mechanism. Would be great if it could.

Things like the introductory theme from Ashes of Love, the theme song that played on the end credits of the Legends, the instrumental theme from Legend of Fuyao, 'Wish' from Under the Power. Such great efforts in music made for these series shouldn't be left behind in the mists of time.

I've really loved the first season theme song (purely from the sound alone coz, again, don't speak Chinese), and this 2nd season theme song is kinda 'meh' to my ears in comparison.

But hey, if someone of note (they mention 'Luhan' like he's somebody) is taking this much of an interest in the theme song alone, it's all good for Heaven Official's Blessing. ;D So I'll just round off with, 'good onya Luhan'.

Just wanted to comment on how much I'm really enjoying the anime.

It's mostly a very faithful adaption of the novel. Season 1 seems to basically be volume 1 of the novel.

The opening theme is exquisite. I really wished I understood what he was actually singing ^^ but regardless it sounds absolutely beautiful.

I could respond to all the 'maybe you's you put out there, but I don't really see the point. I'm interested in the story, not how it relates to my personal sexual identity or life experience. Seriously babe, many people have an identity crisis or feel abnormal in some way ... it can be thought of as normal to feel abnormal. You have no idea who I am or what (or even whether) I've experienced hardships in my life. Why make this about me?

Most times I enjoy a story for the sake of that story. Stories I take a liking to don't have to be related to how I see myself. Most don't. For the sake of your mental health I kindly suggest you consider the same.

I appreciate why for you the issue is personal which is why you might be coming across as fairly defensive in a passive aggressive way to me here, it's just that I think you're fighting a losing battle with this and are ultimately going to be disappointed to a greater extent.

Have you noted what standards and limits they've imposed for even non-LGBT issues? We're talking about one of the most stringent control states in the world.

After the huge success of 'The Untamed' and how it got under their radar, those censors are going be taking a spy glass to their viewings of any upcoming series that are even vaguely BL adjacent. If you personally have expectations regarding representation you'll likely end up disappointed ... so from a mental health perspective why don't you adjust your expectations to the point of this series being completely wall-papered over with only hetero represented relationships, that way if Immortality ends up being a strongly subtle representation of LGBT a la 'The Untamed', you'll end up being pleasantly surprised..?

Getting yourself all upset over this is only going leave you in a down place mentally. It's not going to make the world change any faster.
