I'm probably overthinking this, but is this a reflection of the stress we have in our current world? ie people are at their stress limits so they're avoiding anything that might potentially add to their overall distress?
I know it's only a tv drama ... but it all adds up.

As if trailers have never been edited to portray a different story, they are *always* 100% accurate portrayal of events. lol.

While a happy ending is always preferred... ...I don't mind a cliff hanger if we are going to get a second season, and ...I don't mind a tragic ending if it fits the narrative well.
Just not too many tragic endings series in the one year if at all possible. We have enough trauma in our daily lives, dramas are suppose to help us escape away from all that. : )
In regards to this series ... I'm enjoying it so much that I'm going to see it through to the end. I don't care if the trailers imply there might be a bad ending. This series so far has been so entertaining I want to see it through to the end!
One of the ML personal body guard (Xin Ting) is really cute! And the doctor they rescued from prison is so cheeky.
Loved the reactions of the other prisoners. In the first cell when FL jumped on ML because of the mouse scare when the camera goes into a wide shot they're all 'wtf is with this dude?' faces. Then in the second cell with the doctor they're all joining in on the pee offer and laughing along. And in a way that is casually acted, not forced. I get the feeling this must've been a fun shoot for everyone.
MALE LEAD has permanent CONCERN LOOK. that is his default emotion.
He relaxes the cross-eyed blank stare after the first few episodes and also gets a more suave hair do, so if you can hang on past the initial episodes it will get better. Just IMHO.

Damn that trailer looks good, and that's with half of the scenes seen in the series already. Can't wait for the rest of it.
I know others have mentioned on this discussion board things that are supposdly going to happen in future episodes because of trailers, but I haven't seen any other trailers than this one, so I'm still 100% on board this ship. :D
Just finished this week's episode releases. So good. Got ants under my skin thinking of having to wait another week for the next episodes. Hopefully I'll get to finish watching the whole series then, so I'm hanging on tight, and have got cream for the ant itch. ;P
I'll enjoy the journey even if the destination doesn't satisfy. ^^

So basically the choice here is between speed and quality.
Also, the android app version of Viki that I've been using I would grade a D on resolution, the website version has better resolution.
