Title The Frog
can anyone tell me the connection between both ml. I'm in ep4 still so confused
Both happens in different time period one in 2000 and one at present time so no connection directly but the only connection between two ML can be the title of the show "the frog (or Frogs)". There is a korean saying that 'A frog dies from a stone thrown inadvertently '. Meaning they both are the frog whose life gets negatively impacts because of someone else action which initially has nothing to do with them. Apart from this the only connection between the timelines is the police officer who is present in both timeline and worked on the case.

I only read bad reviews here in mydramalist instagram and youtube reviews are all positive really can't understand…
I think it very common thing on mydramlist even some amazing all time favorites have bad/negative comments. I guess people just come to vent. That's why I often use it to see the cast intro and sometime how many episode timelength and releases are

What a fun ride this drama was! I thoroughly enjoyed this drama I love thrillers so much so it was right up my alley. Not too much romance and I don’t mind that cause most supernatural element dramas that are heavy on romance go in mostly one way where the main plot of most supernatural drama is the supernatural character is in lethal danger and dies and comes back. The ost by Sarah Kang “MY LITTLE DREAM” has my heart the placement of that ost in drama makes the song even more special.

This will become one of those dramas that you can enjoy to the fullest when you are binge-watching; cause as the episodes were realized I could get the frustration people had but as a whole, it is an amazing drama. It reminds me of how people were not happy with “dreaming of a freaking fairy tale” but now I can see so many people enjoying it as all the episodes are out. I am a binge watcher cause bro I can forget stories and I often skip the ongoing drama and wait for them to finish just to binge them I sometimes see how I can not enjoy the drama if its episodes are dropping a week apart.

I like this comedy, but there is a fatal flaw with the writing. Why show the female lead being so upset with her…
I understand your point but I must say the killer is revealed so we have almost 2 episode to get the story behind LMJ transformation. If writer still didn't do that then I'll consider this drama is not worth it

i will be the bearer of bad news but... they have already announced they got the rights of "Moon Lovers: Scarlet…
I think a lot of remarks right are being sold through original Chinese novel or series so I don't think they are going to stop remaking. This one also has the right from the original novel not from the tv series same goes for moon lover they got the right of original Chinese novel not from the Chinese drama or the famous Korean one (which in itself has major difference in the story where Chinese one has 2 season and happy ending staying true to novel Korean version didn't had a happy ending until the new released clip or season 2) so let's see how that one goes. I also think the way they upload their shows 1/4 2/4 ... Makes me loose a lot of interest as the emotion, pace, and context just keep changing with each part of same episode.

Thoroughly enjoyed this drama and can't even stop for a minute. It's been a hot minute that I had binge-watched a series but this drama did it for me. The actor and the way they show their emotions 🤌🏻. I'm happy to see Cha Eun Woo in a more mature role and he didn't disappoint.
I think I found another drama after REVENANT to say it's underrated.

Other than being able to guess the husband would likely cheat with FL's sis (not real sis) on the first episode…
I thought that husband and that sis were doing it when FL switched off the manager's phone I started to suspect that but I'm just 2 episodes in and was like maybe I'm wrong the husband seems to be good and started liking him but when the video was shown to husband and he stops the entire investigation I found that sus but now reading this wahhhh! I was so on point 😂😂. I shouldn’t have searched for anything about this drama but I still will watch this, the cinematography is good

Edit: I think I misread your door-opened scenario or misunderstood it so I was shocked to see FL actually didn't close the door properly cause she was in hurry. And in all honesty, I still root for the husband probably not as a husband (rn maybe one day or maybe not) but as a father and a journalist 👏🏻👏🏻.

People drop a show & than hate it. How can you review when you haven't seen it all?
Agreed. Sadly there are many drama like that where people stop watching it in initial episodes when the story is just building up and then openly hate them. I have seen this with a lot of slow burn drama and especially with dramas that chose to go a bit different route of cliche kdrama romcom and then people say that every kdrama romcom goes same way🤷🏻‍♀️

in orginal time his retirement was never given an actual reason for but what I think is that maybe he wants to…
Nice I never thought of this. I just saw that in the original time when news of Sunjae’s death appeared on the news the watch transformed into the time machine setting itself at 3:00 while emitting the light so thought it became a time machine but Sol didn't travel until she pressed the button. Same goes for everytime she had to pressed the button to travel even the same happened with the last Sunjae’s death no one traveled until Sol pressed the button. So I thought about that and thought the button was an important part. But then what you say makes sense as well

The original was not love triangle though. Steven Zhang character wants to be part of family register that why he proposed her.

Rewatching episode 14. Why have they changed the background score entirely. It was perfect. I do hate this episode.…
I watch it I think it was their to prove a point that no matter what sol did sun jae will still fall for her. And that killer wills till show up as all three are bound with fate.

The fates of Im Sol, RSJ and Young Soo would always remain intertwined no matter how many timelines they pass…
I agree. That's why when the new Hyun jo (the one gave birth) said no matter happy or not no matter she traveled to past and changed it or not she would still fall for Sol's brother. Almost like a warning or forecasting the story and fate of sol and sun jae. Girl did everything still the result remains the same. Sun jae died whether he dies in future or like in last in past. Even now from the next episode teaser it seems that he will still die even though she was not in his life. It only make sense if the fate was pass onto the killer.

Nice theories! I was typing while your comment popped up. Love your pov. But I believe the button was important the watch transforms into a time travelling device but it the button that activates it. So no in the last only sol traveled to their first meeting, not both. She used the new time machine that presented itself, as it was the first time Sun Jae died in the past when he had the watch.

Title Lovely Runner Spoiler
Some of the questions I have that's left unanswered. May I ask you guys to help me sort out these, incase I just…
You have some amazing questions. I’ll try my best to explain my POV maybe that can help.

1. Original timeline - I don’t believe that Sun Jae committed suicide. Why?
There was a brief scene where he was standing on the balcony when the bell rang and right after that he was in the water dead. Also, the person who crashed into Sol resulted in her Mobile being broken (in the second present timeline we learn, it was the killer looking for Sun Jae).
I believe it was the killer who pushed him. We find in second time when he was in a coma that the killer tried to make sun jae unconscious but when he failed he took out the knife and stabbed him. (also the fact the killer always kills people in a deranged way so that it is hard to trace back to him and only uses a knife in utter desperation) so in the original timeline, he didn't have to stab him cause he was able to make him unconscious and push him from the balcony.
Now to say why no one checked and why pills were there. The hotel Sunjae was staying was high profile and to talk about how an ex-convict gets the MasterCard and tempered with the security would bring shame so the hotel staff hid it. Also, it was easy to say it was suicide cause the pills were on the table and he was about to quit cause of work pressure. And media ran with it and the company CEO also confirmed he was about to quit (p.s. That was the reason I found him fishy my first thought was he was behind it all as Sunjae was by far more famous than his teammate and him leaving would have caused the company taking a huge hit). Sun Jae was not having a great time, being an idol was tough, and to that the person he loved said very heartwrenching words that have built with time (focus only we, the viewers know that Sol was grateful, but sun Jae never got to learn about this fact cause last he remembered that she was screaming crying in the hospital right after losing her leg and he was standing outside) things like this had caused him a lot of anxiety and stress and maybe that was the reason he had been taking the med which was also present when the present walking sol was in his apartment. Also, I noticed after meeting the original Sol who couldn't walk he saw that she had to live that way and she was his fan so emotions would have built up he was taking meds to relieve himself but when the walking Sol visited in the second present timeline the med’s where there but he didn’t have to take them that day cause he was not emotionally stressed at that time.

2. That is also confusing to me but what I can say is when the eclipse band changed from 4 mates to 3 we saw that present time stood still. This says that every time she was traveling in the past the time stood still in the present while the event kept changing as she made different choices. But on her first traveling none of her actions changed anything; Sun Jae was still dead, she still had to use a wheelchair, and I believe that Kim Tae asked her to be his gf while sun jae recorded voice about to say he liked her what made her kick back in a present cause that never happened according to her and it resulted in her in the same place, the stream. After that time her travel changed a lot which might be the reason for her not staying in the same place where she traveled cause the present reality has changed for everyone around her.

3. Everything hints that either she is the reason or her grandmother had experienced something similar that’s why her memories stay the same as Sol. Cause I noticed the person who does travel seems to remember everything all the realities and all actions.

4. a. It’s not clear why that but one thing she remembers it was still wrong. Even though the place may have triggered it she thought she was crying cause the killer caught up to her but in reality, she fell to the ground and cried cause sun jae fell into the water. But I have to point out the original timeline Sol didn't remember her kidnapping, her savior, or the original killer. It also got triggered when she was in the past at the same place where the incident took place. That was when she learned it wasn't a simple hit-and-run but she was kidnapped. She got it as a vision but the incident didn't happen it was in the near future like the cliff incident which was in the near future.
b. The watch Sol had has 1 time left and Sunjae has had 3. The watch becomes a time-traveling device when sun jae dies so no it wasn’t activated but it transformed into it when he was in the water dying. You have to press the button to activate it which result in time travel. We see this cause Sol struggle for this during her second travel when nothing changed in the present. Sun jae’s watch just like in the original timeline became a device when he died on the cliff. It doesn't mean it was transformed for him the person who presses the button activates it. And mind you why it happened just now it was the first time where SunJae died in past and had his watch unlike the other 2 time when he died in the present when Sol was with the watch. It was like at that moment it created a bootstrap paradox (I guess that is the right term) for that watch which made time travel possible in the first place. Even though Sol has 1 chance left when the new time machine presents itself she used that to travel. I hope I'm saying it clearly. So no Sunjae didn’t went back in time it was Sol who did and stopped their very first meeting. Both of them didn’t travelled back. Only one person did.

Title Night Has Come Spoiler
I loved it and I loved the ending. It reminded me of The Escape Room movie. The logic was flawed at the end with…
I agree to some extent with the people who deserve it. Cause those who are involved in the bullying do deserve this but the whole class. I mean there must be students who never talked to her or took an interest. Also, the parents somewhat seem doing all this just to satisfy their revenge at this point as the mother relieves it going on for so time. I would have liked it if they kept the memories of the real culprit every time they had to play this game again and again or would have kept them only would have made more sense to their revenge because as soon as they start they forget that classmate they had bullied and seems like seldom remembered it. It also seems they remember this time cause there was an error in this one.

The drama sure starts with a banger and had my hope really high. But I do admit the plot hole in the last episode brings my hope down. As the series ended I was ahhh! It ended that’s it. It felt like a fever dream that time and seemed half-assed done and more like dragged and then rushed. The timeline thing does get me. Also, it was a little hard to watch the Joseon ML in the ending episode especially when the FL actually started loving Seoul ML cause she felt for Joseon one and approached and accepted the Seoul one as she saw the bits of her husband in him and in the last episode it just reversed and all he got was cold shoulder.
Also doesn't her decision change the new timeline? Nonetheless, nothing like that happened instead we see that her story gets updated while the Kang family doesn't seem to be affected by that. *Maybe it’s because she died and the rule to change the virtuous widow was not fully abolished, so they might got the status and that what made the modern-day Seoul timeline intact* (that is the best explanation I can give myself) but again it seems like a big plot hole in the end. Also, the fact that when she travelled the first time it was the deity who made it. The second time it's like she died and then after a couple of days hopped in Seoul, that too with a different dress last time it happened nothing was changed this time it was like his imagination. Even on the wedding day, no one was present not even Sa Wol.

This is the second drama I have watched with Lee Se Young where time travel is the element and the drama starts strong then the end just leaves you with plot holes and is rushed. Still, this one is easy to binge, and the fact that at least 11/12 episodes make you hooked. The chemistry was really good, and the main lead as well as the second lead couple makes it a fun ride.

Thank you for this informative article. I haven’t watch costumes drama cause i just don’t find them attracting (whether it’s C or K drama) so I wasn’t aware of so much voice dubbing in those dramas. I remember i was watching Cdrama “Sweet teeth” (which was honestly my second drama) i fell so hard for the character Ai Jing Chu (played by Bi Wenjun) and the main reason was his soft spoken voice and after finishing the drama almost a week later I found his voice was dubbed. NGL i was so bummed about that. That was the first time I learned about the dubbing situation in Cdrama. Then again I didn’t mind it that much. I come to know that his dialect was so heavy that they needed a voice dubbing artist for him.

I was and am okay cause yes China is big country with multiple dialects spoken across the entire country. But i do agree with people when they say that voice is also a big part of acting and they should either do their own dubbing or at least practice/learn the dialect that often used in dramas.

Then again dubbing has never stopped me from binge watching Cdramas, and I honestly don’t mind it. What gets me is complete silence in couple of scenes specially in mini dramas. It completely silence so much so that at moments you can hear their voice echoing or some actor basically sounding like young children other than that i never found voice dubbing off putting.
