This is why I love love Cheng Yi as an actor. If Fugui was given to some other actor, they might play him as some cold expressionless one-dimensional robotic guy. I love love this drama. It has far exceeded my expectations because it is not clique. Iām not saying this because Iām a Cheng Yi fan, I actually started the other drama first because of the eye candies but couldnāt get into the story.
But I fell in love the moment Cheng Yi appeared in ep 1, when he saw the spider FL. That look was just so mesmerizing.
Anyway, I didnāt really like the FL at first tbh. Cuz I thought it would be like one of those tropes where the Ml would have to keep protecting her, and she plot against him because of her circumstances blah blah blah.
But no, FL stood her ground. Especially at ep 12. I also love what FG said āit s not just for the spider that Iām doing this, but so father could understand the true way of the swordā something like that.
I love this so much. Idk if it because Iāve grown but I just hate stories where they make love everything, sacrificing for their love blah blah blah. They lose all sense of self and individuality once they fall in love.
But I love how FG has sense of self and he does things for his ācareerā or character I guess (sorry for lack of better word). Also the FL separated from him to become better version of herself

I watched both other dramas. Havent seen the donghua though. Kinda forgot most ofnit but name is because theres a tree in Tushan which unites or help lovers be together. Most couples are demon-human. Which is why the underlying message of these dramas is for demon and human to co exist in peace. Or can they live in peace?
I think Red Moon Pact has more of the matchmaking stuff because the FL was thr matchmaker. The evil queen has basically been there since the beginning. She lives through thr power of hatred or something. So as long as theres hatred, she will never die. Which is why in every drama, she is able to come back as the main antagonist, usually through manipulating someone. She lives outside of the circle that thethird master aolan drew. She has limits though, which is why she needs someone from inside the circle to manipulate, and she will always find. Because evil exist.
In Paviollion, Fu gui father Hongye and his group went out of the circle to kill her, to prevent a terrible future from happening but they failed.. he saw his sister and friends died before his eyes only he survived. which is why the father is so traumatized and is stubborn on preventing his son from walkjng the same path he did.
Also in the donghua, these couples get reincarnated where they aregiven a second chance or something

They could be posting a bunch of unverified footages or news, like minor details about his life to distract us. Itās like, if you post a bunch of fake news and then prove that theyāre fake later on. Then credibility will drop and people will start to believe that his death was not a murder case. This is happening because itās what the defenders of those celebrities on that list has been using to defend their stand. So my speculation is that this is what the government is doing right now. So yea, I just want to encourage everyone to not be so quick to believe in every small details. Because to be fair, those donāt really show clear faces.
