I disagree. This drama may not be for some people but lots of people enjoy it. Also, this drama and role made lots of people become fans of Song Kang.

Completely agree. I would also like to add that I did some research and saw SBS dramas haven’t had the best ratings this year (except for Dr Romantic). Even The Killing Vote, which had a well known cast, had ratings a bit lower than My Demon.

I’m not sure. It looked like the tv ratings were slowly going up but I think there are other factors for it being low. First, I think people just have different preferences. Second, the ratings are probably down due to the holidays. I checked the kdrama that is 1st in viewership (welcome to samdalri) and its rating is even down this week. So, I’m expecting for the ratings to pick back up for the next time it airs.

Hmmm…I wouldn’t say they were slow. Both episodes were decent, which means they were still pretty enjoyable but not as entertaining as the previous episodes. Anyways, it’s normal for the pacing to be like this due to it being a 16 episode kdrama.

I agree with your comment. I have watched a few episodes of Nevertheless and Love Alarm (which I ended up dropping) and I feel he has improved in this drama. Sure, there are a few scenes where I think he could’ve done better. But for majority of the drama, he has done a fairly good job. There has even been discussions about this on Reddit and the majority of people agree that his expressions have improved and you know how hard it is to please Reddit users. (Lol) Anyways, I’m sure he will improve even more because there are other actors who were criticized like him and these actors are now praised for improving their performances.

I disagree with people saying episodes 9 & 10 were boring. Both were pretty enjoyable and I love that these episodes focused more on the Main couple’s relationship. The only episode that I would consider ‘boring’ (at least for me) is episode 3. But after that, the pacing of the show was well done.

I thought people moved on from this topic. If someone doesn’t like a drama, that’s fine. But people have their own tastes and a majority of people love this drama.

I don’t find it overrated. The pacing is pretty good and I like the story. Sure, it’s not perfect but it’s really enjoyable. This is actually the first kdrama that’s from Netflix that I’m really enjoying.

Really? I felt this episode was way better than episode 9.

I just hope there is no sad ending. I also hope for the ending to not be like Moon in the Day, where they meet again in their next life. I would rather for Gu Won to turn human so he and Do Hee can be together.

It’s okay. People are allowed to express their opinions. For me, this episode was still enjoyable but not as enjoyable as it’s previous episodes. It was great to see more of their relationship. But I wouldn’t say it was a boring episode (at least for me).

I understand what you mean but the drama’s main focus is a romcom. I really like it tho because it gives me 2016 kdrama vibes. Maybe that’s why I am really enjoying it.

Is it true that she’s getting heavily criticized in china due to her ‘baby’ voice? I saw a Reddit post about this. I don’t mind her voice in TLI but I have seen lots of people criticizing her on that.

Don’t listen to them. HL had these pdf allegations due to the first two episodes. But if you look into it further, the ML never had feelings for her until she took care for him at the hospital and she was 19 at that time. It was a one sided crush for most of the drama.
